"Going Rogue" reviewed by NYR of Books

Not a great review, not by a mile. However, on the bright side the reviewer put in enough time writing a long one. I am willing to bet the guy is a Lefty with a capital "L", and if he cloaks that fact in something else, then he is a closet lefty, just like that Andrew Sullivan character and the obnoxious guy from Little Green Footballs.

.......Meat is what she likes to consume most, though not rare, or even pink, meat (which might strike a too-fancy note with her target demographic):
I love meat. I eat pork chops, thick bacon burgers, and the seared fatty edges of a medium-well-done steak. But I especially love moose and caribou. I always remind people from outside our state that there's plenty of room for all Alaska's animals—right next to the mashed potatoes...
People outside Alaska are often clueless about our reliance on natural food sources. (You know you're an Alaskan when at least twice a year your kitchen doubles as a meat-processing plant.)

  1. My problem with Palin from the prospect of a political future is that she hasn't done anything of consequence. She quit the only job where she was accumulating relevant experience and a book tour does not make anyone more qualified to be President. Try taking on the New York Mafia? How's about 4000 criminal convictions in what used to the crime cesspool of NYC?

If and when she announces that she is running for President in 2012, I will be against it.

  2. Iceman - dislike her and make mincemeat of her potential all you want. Palin will be the first woman Prez of the USA come what may. Maybe not in 2012, but she will be the first woman prez and will make history just like Obama has.

  3. Iceman - Mrs Palin is right about one thing: the 100-mile diet isn't going to work for vegitarians based in Alaska. Just think of the carbon footprint for an Alaskan-based vegan!!
