Egypt on way to becoming like lawless Libya

If you think that statement is too far-fetched, then read what happened in Libya in April 2012 Amnesty Intl report ...page 19.

Neurosurgeon Hisham Anour Ben Khayal was abducted in Tripoli on 1 April by a militia from  al-Zawiya which blamed him for the death of their relative, Fathi Mohamed Abou Shanaf. They claim that Fathi Mohamed Abou Shanaf died as a result of medical neglect while being treated in the Sbi’a Hospital, where Hisham Anour Ben Khayal headed the neurosurgery department. They held him at their base, where he was beaten with sticks and whips....

....Hisham Anour Ben Khayal said that he wasn’t even the treating physician in the case, and two operations were conducted at the Sbi’a Hospital in an attempt to save the patient......

THEN read the below of what happened in one of Cairo's biggest hospital:

One of Cairo's largest public hospitals closes its doors temporarily and its doctors threaten to strike following violent assault against providers and gunshots fired at the building.  Several doctors have been attacked and gunshots were fired at Cairo's Qasr Al-Aini hospital on Tuesday, leading the hospital to temporarily close its doors.

According to Al Ahram Arabic-language news site, the attack was part of a fight that had erupted in Cairo's impoverished Boulaq district.
Two injured were transported to the hospital to seek care for their gunshot wounds. One of them lost his life.
Angered by his death, relatives of the deceased attacked the doctors and destroyed parts of the hospital's seventh floor.
They also went on to search for other patients whom they believe were involved in killing their family member........

Amnesty International's horror-filled report on Libya

If you thought everything was coming up roses for  Libya now that Gadhafi and his regime are no more, think again.  The new regime there is incapable of  laying down the law  for the various rebel groups who are continuing with their torture, rape and murder.... the daily fare of any rebel group.

This is what they are capable of doing to innocent civilians suspected of alliance with the dictators they want to destroy on the orders of Saudi Arabia and the puppets of Saudi Arabia. Expect the same in Syria too and we will read about similar  atrocities there a year from now.  I am sure NATO countries who are responsible for the misery of the ordinary citizens of Libya are proud of their handiwork.  Lots more than the few pages I read and copied below.  Lots, lots more.

Amnesty Intl. Report  dated uly 2012

Page 5:
Two sisters aged 27 and 32 were stopped by a militia at a checkpoint in February 2012 and forced at gunpoint to a nearby farm. One was suspended from a door for hours, had boiling water poured over her head, and was beaten and stabbed while being accused of supporting the former government of Colonel Mu’ammar alGaddafi. The other was also suspended and beaten. The husband of one of them, who was detained at the same time, has disappeared.

This family is among the mounting toll of victims of an increasingly lawless Libya, where the transitional authorities have been unable or unwilling to rein in the hundreds of militias formed during and after the 2011 conflict that ended the rule of Colonel Mu’ammar alGaddafi. The militias are now threatening the very future of Libya and casting a shadow over landmark national elections scheduled for 7 July 2012.
They are killing people, making arbitrary arrests, torturing detainees and forcibly displacing and terrorizing entire communities, often solely for reasons of revenge. They are also recklessly using machineguns, mortars and other weaponry during tribal and territorial battles, killing and maiming bystanders. They act above the law, committing their crimes without fear of punishment.......

Page 6 and 7
......Detainees are particularly vulnerable to revenge beatings and vigilante-style “justice” when held by victims or relatives of victims of human rights violations perpetrated by al-Gaddafi forces or when held in cities where they allegedly committed the violations. The common practice of transferring detainees to such locations increases the risk of torture, and further undermines their right to fair trial.
The most commonly reported methods of torture include suspension in contorted positions and prolonged beatings with various objects, including metal bars and chains, electric cables, wooden sticks, plastic hoses, water pipes (known locally as Tube PPR) and rifle butts.

Some detainees also said they were given electric shocks, burned with cigarettes and had hot metal applied to their flesh. Since late August 2011, when al-Gaddafi forces lost control of the capital and most of the country, Amnesty International has gathered detailed information about at least 20 people who died in custody after they were tortured or shot in detention  by armed militias. The latest victim, whose case was documented by Amnesty International, was taken to a morgue on 6 June. Amnesty International has also received credible information about other cases......

Page 8
The authorities have also failed to resolve the situation of entire communities displaced during the conflict and unable to return to their homes, which were looted and burned by armed militias seeking revenge. Entire towns and villages were deliberately rendered uninhabitable by the militias, which accused the displaced communities of supporting the toppled government and of committing crimes on its behalf. The entire population of the city of Tawargha, estimated at 30,000, was driven out by Misratah militias and remains scattered across Libya, including in poorly resourced camps in Tripoli and Benghaz....

Collecting Rain water or Snow runoff is a crime in Oregon

Better believe it !!  No matter how stupid it might sound, storing water in reservoirs on your own property is considered to be a crime in Oregon.  The government's favorite hobby is bullying the citizens.

Kendra Alleyne of CNS News writes:
.... A rural Oregon man  was sentenced Wednesday to 30 days in jail and over $1,500 in fines because he had three reservoirs on his property to collect and use rainwater.

Gary Harrington of Eagle Point, Ore., says he plans to appeal his conviction in Jackson County (Ore.) Circuit Court on nine misdemeanor charges under a 1925 law for having what state water managers called “three illegal reservoirs” on his property – and for filling the reservoirs with rainwater and snow runoff.....

....According to Oregon water laws, all water is publicly owned. Therefore, anyone who wants to store any type of water on their property must first obtain a permit from state water managers........

The Islamization of the Ottawa Police Services

It always starts with those who can wield the power to stop citizens from exercising their freedoms.

The OPS and the powers-that-be will give any number of excuses for the OPS's behaviour and tell us stupid kuffars that the OPS is trying to keep a good relationship with those who are unappeasable .... don't believe the crap.    Our Police services,  the RCMP and our Department of Defence are being compromised .... slowly but surely.

I have noticed that the OPS keeps having this diversity event, and that diversity event,  almost once every week.  If you are looking for aliens on earth or better still, walking undetected amongst us, you have better chances of meeting those outer worldly species if  you keep a watch on the  OPS news releases, and give your telescope and your eyes a rest looking  for their elusive spaceships. The nitwits at the OPS will be the first ones to host the aliens.  Their chief is Charles Bordeleau  who thinks that pampering and pandering to the diverse groups in Ottawa is the way to go.

Wake Up before it's too late to do anything.  There are people in high places within our own government bodies who are working full time to please those who work overtime to trample us underfoot.

In a recent communiqué published on its website,   the Ottawa Police Service endorsed an activity organized by the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC).
On its own website, MAC acknowledges its adherence to the ideology promoted by the Muslim Brotherhood and its founder Hassan al-Banna:MAC's (...) modern roots can be traced to the Islamic revival of the early twentieth century, culminating in the movement of the Muslim Brotherhood. (...) MAC adopts and strives to implement Islam, as embodied in the Qur'an, and the teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and as understood in its contemporary context by the late Imam, Hassan Albanna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood. MAC regards this ideology as the best representation of Islam as delivered by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
In his 50-point manifesto, Hassan al-Banna promoted the abolition of political parties and the instauration of a one-party State, the reform of the law, so that it will conform to sharia, an increase in the number of youth groups promoting jihad, the prohibition of dancing, the censorship of movies and plays and a dress code for all citizens enforced by a religious police.........

Canadians voice their apprehension on the proposed return of terrorist Omar Khadr to Canada

TORONTO .. Ontario
From BlazingCatFur blog

more here.

The Canadian government has balked at the return of the convicted war criminal and murderer until U.S. authorities turn over allegedly-damning video footage of psychiatrists’ interviews with the Guantanamo Bay prisoner.

You made a difference.

"Things have gotten so twisted   that even the former General Romeo Dallaire started a petition to bring Omar back. That support for a terrorist completes his total failure as a military man. Can you imagine Eisenhower and Patton doing the same on behalf of the Nazis? Obviously, honour and patriotism are no more necessary among the Canadian elites."..........

"I want to stop him   from coming back and if he does come back, I want him to be tried for treason. I am tired that he is treated like a hero and the victims are ignored," said Kapoor, who is with Canadian Patriots Unite Against Terrorist Omar Khadr."..........

MONTREAL ... Quebec

On July 18th, the Quebec chapter of ACT! for Canada  organized a rally to alert Canadians of the upcoming repatriation of convicted war criminal Omar Ahmed Khadr.

Guest speaker: Marc Lebuis of  Point de Bascule Canada.

-------------------------------------------------------
EDMONTON ... Alberta

A group of Edmontonians  rallied downtown at noon Wednesday to protest Omar Khadr’s potential return to Canada.

About 15 to 20 protesters demanded the federal government block Khadr from returning to his home country or have him charged with treason.
“He is a confessed killer and a jihadist, and he is a threat to our country,” said protester Sharon Maclise outside the Edmonton Law Courts.
“We’re here to ask our government that if in fact they have to bring him back, we want him to be charged with treason the moment he crosses the border.”
Toronto-born Khadr was arrested by U.S. forces in Afghanistan in 2002, at age 15, following a U.S. air strike on an Afghan compound. He has since been detained at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, and in 2010 he pleaded guilty to throwing a grenade that killed a U.S. soldier in July 2002.

I believe there were more protests organized  in other cities of Canada and this posting will be updated when that info becomes available

Mitt Romney: "Jerusalem is the Capital of the Jewish State"

Can you beat that  O mighty Obama, lover of the MuslimBros and Wahhabism?  Can you ?

Jerusalem and Israel are one and not even a tiny centimeter of the city can be declared to belong to the dark side and not even a hair's breath can be declared as under UN control.  Never ever, ever never.  All followers of Christ  want  every little inch of  Jerusalem to be Israel's .... no two ways about it.  Romney's sect follows Christ ... he knows what it would mean to let go of what belongs to Israel.  Obama does not,  for obvious reasons.

With that statement, Romney will win the White House.  Obama has never been able to assure the Jewish and Christian people of the world about Jerusalem's fate.  Romney has, and that endures him to millions of us, even if it was a political move.

Kasie Hunt reporting for AP:
JERUSALEM (AP) — On Israeli soil,  U.S. presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Sunday declared Jerusalem to be the capital of the Jewish state and said the United States has "a solemn duty and a moral imperative" to block Iran from achieving nuclear weapons capability.

"Make no mistake, the ayatollahs in Iran are testing our moral defenses. They want to know who will object and who will look the other way," he said. "We will not look away nor will our country ever look away from our passion and commitment to Israel.".........

Ticket to Heaven

This is a 1981 Canadian movie which shows how cults can brainwash young people.  It has Nick Mancuso, Saul Rubinek, Meg Foster and Kim Cattrall  and was based on a book dealing with  the cult of the Unification Church founded  by a billionaire American of  South Korean origins. No prizes for guessing how he made his billions.

The IOC should be sacked .... it's bias is vomit-inducing

Shame on each and every member of  the Olympics committee.  Despicable lot, the very lowest  of the earth and these are the people who are the overseers of  an event which is supposed to bring all peoples of the world under one roof???   I strongly feel an enquiry into the bias of the IOC should be called for immediately.

Tunisian swimmer, Taqi Murabit, refused to swim     in the same pool due to the participation of an Israeli swimmer.

Did the disgusting IOC ban him from the games like they did  Greek athlete Paraskevi Papachristou   for her tweet that they considered to be so horrific the world would come to an end if her feet touched the stadium grounds?

And what about this: The Lebanese judo team    forced International Olympic Committee officials to erect a barrier between themselves and the Israeli judo squad, Friday afternoon in London, just hours before the Games’ opening ceremony, reports Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot.
Both teams were scheduled to train inside London’s ExCeL center but Lebanon’s team did not want to be seen by the Israeli one, and IOC officials heeded the Lebanese demand after the team’s coach demanded separation.....

Why wasn't the Lebanese judo team sent packing back to Lebanon?????

Canada's lovable hypenated hypocritical leeches

Below is Google's translation from an article at the Saudi mouthpiece Al Arabiya ... don't forget to check out the fab pic at the link.  Somebody looks mighty tough with an AK47 kind of mean looking gun in her hands.  What was it she told Charles Adler?  "I do first aid and like that."  Oh yeah?!!

She said the Syrian Thuwaiba Kanafani, she left Canada  and returned to her country to join the Syrian army free, in order to express solidarity and moral support of the revolutionaries against the regime in her country. said Kanafani carrying Canadian citizenship, they followed what was happening in her country since the beginning of the revolution, and they decided to get off to Turkey during the last period for the situation closely and try to understand the complexities of the revolution that led to the late victory, which is paid to join the Syrian army free after knowing the situation on the ground and know many of the battalions combat. confirmed Kanafani that owns the engineering company local in Canada She is married and mother of two children, they received protection and welcomed by the extreme elements of the army free, noting that he had owned a strange feeling to overcome to enter Syria through the barbed wire after her absence from the country visited by the formal way in 2007.....

The new Egypt increasingly intolerant of non-Sunni Muslims ....

if these people can't tolerate their own Muslim brothers of the Shia sect and accuse them of trying to convert others,  tell me what hope do the Coptic Christians have in the new Egypt???

Bulaq al-Dakrour prosecution has started investigating  about 40 claims filed against four people for proselytizing the Shia faith in Nahya, Giza.

Prosecutor Ibrahim Khalaf summoned the suspects on Saturday, after listening to the claimants, and ordered that their statements be investigated.

Anti-Shia rhetoric is prevalent in Sunni-majority Egypt, especially among Islamist groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafi movement, which are predominately Sunni.

The prosecution received a number of complaints over the past two days from Nahya residents that several Shias were frequenting a mosque where they insulted and mocked the Prophet Mohamed and his companions in an attempt to spread the Shia faith.....

Is it Springtime for the House of Saud ...

and will Obama and Hillary encourage the citizens of Saudi Arabia to rise up and discard their shackles by overthrowing the spreaders of Wahhabism?  They shouted from the highest rooftops calling on the citizens of  Egypt, Libya and Syria to rid themselves from the shackles of their dictators but will they do the same for the worst country on earth with the most demonic dictators?   The hypocrisy from the USA and specifically from the White House is the kind never before seen.

...Saudi protesters were detained   in the area of Qatif, the official Saudi Press Agency reported Friday, the latest turn in a simmering protest movement on the eastern edge of the kingdom.

Qatif has been the scene of clashes between police and Shiite Muslim protesters. Saudi Arabia accuses Shiite-led Iran of instigating the unrest in the city; protesters say they are agitating to free political prisoners and abolish discrimination against Shiites, who are minorities in the Sunni-dominated kingdom.

State media said the protesters were instigating riots and were detained Friday for setting tires on fire. Witnesses told Agence France-Presse that security forces had opened fire on the protesters, wounding several. The Saudi Press Agency reported that there were no casualties.....

Is it easy to cheat the Canadian Refugee Board? Nothing is more simple

O Canada
Gone are the morals and ethics of old;
The world has changed O sweet Canada.
Your new refugees and immigrants
don't think of you;
No ... not at all.
How long before the one way street
cracks and the crevice created;
swallows those who still try to
stand on guard for thee?

....This account describes the steps   that an Israeli man, his wife and two children followed to apply ( fraudulently ) for asylum in Canada. It is a continuation of a story which we published in November of 2011. See the following for Part 1 : As readers will see,   “Lying Our Way To Canada” is the beginning of an Israeli citizen’s confession of his family’s false refugee claim in Canada. Part 2 continues the confession.

This confession should remind Canadians of the extensive fraud that has occurred in Canada’s refugee system.

This is a very large problem for a number of reasons.
(1) Since 1989, over 700,000 people have filed refugee claims here.
(2) Canada has one of the highest refugee claim acceptance rates in the world.
(3) The impact of refugee claimants is enormous. Our Department of Citizenship and Immigration has not revealed the number of relatives that accepted refugees have sponsored, but that figure is probably the major percentage of Family Class immigrants who have come to Canada. Refugees and their sponsored family members probably comprise well over 2 million of the 5 million immigrants that Canada has taken in the past 20 years. For example, as we have pointed out before, one Somali man has brought 100 “family” members to Canada. Many well-publicized cases of fraud demonstrate the cheating that has occurred in Canada’s refugee system.........

......LYING OUR WAY TO CANADA—–PART 1
I am writing from Tel Aviv in Israel. The major characters in the following story are me (Innocent Kwarteng—a fake name I used in Canada), my ex-wife, and my two oldest children. We are all Israeli citizens. My wife is an Ethiopian Falasha Jew who was brought to Israel under a project which allowed Ethiopian Jews to return to Israel as new Immigrants. I am not Jewish originally. I married my wife in 1996 in Israel and as a result, I received Israeli Citizenship. My two oldest children were born in Israel and they are Jewish, based upon the fact that their mother is Jewish.

On May 21, 2007, after I, my wife and two oldest children had traveled from Israel to Orlando, Florida for a family vacation at Disney World, we drove a rented car from Florida to Niagara Falls, Ontario to visit Israeli friends who lived in Toronto. At the time we entered Canada in 2007, I did not think that .........

Warlord Obama and Witch Hillary ... do you need a hearing aid or can you hear this from Radio Vatican

From the description at the vid on YouTube:
Syria: An appeal for the truth
(Vatican Radio) According to a Catholic charity's Middle East expert news agencies are misrepresenting the conflict in Syria, to the detriment of the civilian population struggling to survive an ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Fr Andrew Halemba, Aid to the Church in Need's Middle East projects coordinator says that media reports about the country should be treated critically and with great caution. Listen to Emer McCarthy's interview with John Newton, spokesman for ACN in the United Kingdom:
He said: "The situation in [Syria] is much more complex and difficult to assess than the media in the West make it out to be. "Many media outlets are simply turning in sloppy reporting. "They seem to be ignoring that there are also internal power struggles and religious tensions between the different Muslim groups, tribal feuds and acts of vengeance are a daily occurrence, and crime is rising in the country due to the unstable situation."
Fr Halemba explained that he was in constant contact with Church sources in the country. He said: "Some Western media reports are received there with great outrage. "People there feel exploited and deceived by international media. They complain that the West is only pursuing its own interests."
He said a Church source in the country, which could not be named because of fears about safety, said that images were being manipulated. Fr Halemba said the Church representative had told ACN: "We are witnesses to vulgar falsehoods that brazenly and shamelessly inflate a small demonstration involving around 50 people into a major demonstration with hundreds or even thousands of persons". "The photos are patched together from different pieces using image processing software in studios created especially for this purpose."
Al Jazeera has been accused of faking images used in their news reports to increase the size of a crowd. Critics maintain that in one image the same people appear in the photo several times.
Fr Halemba's reference to allegations of media misuse of images come after photographer Marco di Lauro accused the BBC of using one of his pictures from Iraq in 2003 to show the situation in Syria this year.
While acknowledging that the image could not be independently verified, the BBC said the image purported to show children killed in the May 2012 massacre in Houla. Mr di Lauro said the photograph was taken in Iraq at the time of the overthrow of President Saddam Hussein.
The BBC later apologised and removed the image upon learning of the error.
Fr Halemba stressed that Aid to the Church in Need's task was to provide practical support to Christians in need, rather than intervene in political matters. The charity is providing more than £103,000 (€130,000) in emergency aid, primarily for Christian families in need. This includes just under £40,000 (€50,000) for those trapped in the old city of Homs.

UK takes Gold for the "The very worst Olympics games opening ceremonies ever"

There !!  I have said what most of you are thinking but being the politically correct goody two-shoes that you are,  you won't  acknowledge.

Ugh !!!!  What was that we spent more than an hour of our lives watching yesterday?  I have seen better fireworks on Canada Day from the window of my bedroom.... and no, I am not kidding.  And that industrial or rustic or what have you going on with different people doing some stuff with their hands ... what the hell was that?  I didn't know Olympic opening ceremonies had to have elaborate explanations as to what the eye is seeing to understand what's going on.   Sheesh !!!  Looks like the Brits were more concerned keeping at bay their lovable muzzies they have imported in their millions than focusing on putting up a good show for the world audience.   Shame.

Below is someone else who is also not politically correct .... thank the good Lord for that.

Anthony Wing Kosner writing at Forbes:
The firework display of the glowing rings   in the brief video above was thrilling and well-executed, but otherwise, this evening’s opening ceremony from the Olympics in London was positively cringe-inducing. I’m sure some of the less self-conscious performers were having a good time, but some must have wondered why they were there.
Unlike the awesome (and a bit terrifying) display of synchronized drumming and acrobatics from the Beijing games in 2008, that attempted to symbolize the entire Chinese industrial economy, there was no obvious talent or social organization in the London mob. The overwhelming feeling was of a desperate mediocrity. And it was boring.....

The two sides of the Muslim mouth .... both sides marinated in taqqiyah

Even the very best of  infidel liars are no match for the  least skillful of the taqqiyah spouters.  This is a fascinating report but nothing that surprises those of us who have been watching the tricks played by Turkey and others.

Via the SyriaComment  blog  comes this report from David Pollock of the FikraForum:
Trip Report: Meeting the Syrian Opposition in Antakya and Istanbul  Having recently returned from a European Foundation for Democracy sponsored trip to Antakya and Istanbul, during which a European delegation and I met over 100 Syrian opposition figures, a number of important observations come to mind. First, one of my strongest impressions is that things are not what they seem. It is very difficult on the ground to be sure who it is that you are really talking to and what they represent. Second, Turkish officials maintain a striking degree of control over Syrian opposition forces inside Turkey. Third, the Muslim Brotherhood is pervasive not only within the Syrian National Council (SNC), but among many opposition groups – mostly outside Syria. Lastly, there is a striking cynicism and anger among fighters within Syria toward the outside world for not providing enough practical support.

1. Things Are Not What They Seem
Many times throughout the trip, we experienced people privately telling some of us one thing and others something completely different, and talking about each other in quite derogatory ways behind each other’s backs, while trying to take over meetings from each other.
For example, we met with a Syrian sheikh who runs the Jamiyat al-Shura al-Khairiyah on the Jordanian side of the border, which is supposedly a humanitarian organization. He gave us an extremely long, eloquent, and detailed presentation about the good work he is doing and said that we are all equal and we all believe in the compassionate and merciful prophets. He then asked us to support his good work for the Syrian people. Then after that meeting, he took aside a Palestinian Muslim member of our delegation, and said, “You know, when you talk to these Europeans, you have to be like a fox. You have to say all these nice things, but you know that we don’t really mean any of it.”
I was struck by the pervasiveness of this uncertainty and duplicity. Personally, I support the Syrian opposition, but I think we need to be very clear about the pitfalls when we try to pick and choose. So that is my first conclusion: Don’t jump to conclusions. Even about whom you think you are dealing with.

2. Turkish, Not Syrian, Border Controls
The degree of Turkish control not only over Syrian camps, but also over the extent that Syrian opposition forces are given permission to travel to particular places in and out of Turkey, is quite striking.
For example, we met with the official Free Syrian Army (FSA) spokesman, who lives in a remote village in the hills, approximately 20 kilometers away from camp Apaydin, where most of the FSA in Turkey lives. The reason behind this is that the Turks apparently do not want people to meet those FSA soldiers, and will not allow most people to enter the camp. Inside the camp, however, the FSA commanders and soldiers are confined by the Turks and have only limited contact with the FSA inside Syria.....

Toronto Mayor ruffles easily shred feathers of his distractors

Mayor Rob Ford standing in a photo with an alleged neo-Nazi musician, with the musician in what I presume is some kind of a Nazi uniform, makes for a gasp of  "What??!!!"  when you see the pic.   However, when commonsense comes to the rescue you just salute the troublemaker Warren Kinsella and those of his ilk and ignore the whole political play for what it is,   just politics as usual.

Now, let me tell you from personal experiences what these photo shoots are like.  I and my family members have been to more than one of these gatherings where the Mayor's office either hosted the events or the events were hosted by well-wishers of the Mayor.

What happens at these events is that people who want to be photographed with the mayor (don't look to me for pyschoanalysis)  will stand in long queues to get to him for the photograph.  Now tell me this.  Is the mayor or the organizers of the events supposed to know and see clearly (given that the camera flashes are going off  in all directions and almost blinding everybody in the vicinity)  the person who has come to his side for the photo is a neo-Nazi and the suit he is wearing is a kind of uniform and that that uniform looks like  a Nazi uniform?  Madness ... but then only outer world "aliens are here" kind of  statements get dropped from the mouths of those who  hate  Mayor Rob Ford with a vengence.  Warren Kinsella is just one of them.  And why not?  His buddy lost the mayorial election to Rob Ford.  HAHAHAHAH.   I sympathize,  I do, I do !!!

Look, I am not saying Mayor Ford is a saint or an intellectual genius.   He is quite the doofoos in many areas where we expect our supposedly "betters" to be more knowledgeable than poor ignorant us.  His comments on how to solve the gun crime in Toronto made me cringe,  more so because I realized that moi being just a first generation immigrant, besides being a dodo,  knew much more about immigration policies than my Mayor did.  Eyeopener !!

Mayor Ford has his faults, but he is definitely not a racist as is implied.  Moreover,  his heart is in the right place.  He has done and continues to do a hell of a lot for the betterment of the black youth of this city.

Shame on his distractors, blasted nest of commies with nothing better to do !!

Free Speech for some .... not for all

Oh yeah ... all journalists have their own agendum. In the article below journalist Brendan O'Neill writing at TheTelegraph forgets to mention the Greek athlete Paraskevi Papachristou   and   Stephen Birrelli  ... just two other names that come to mind right now.  Free speech is the right of all human beings.  If you don't like what some humans say, ignore them or tell them they are hateful or whatever... don't go advocating prison terms and other forms of punishment for us earth people. We are not  born into bondage.  We are free human beings still .... aren't we??  Or have the memos of our own enslavement, from the powers-that-be, gone into the "spam" folders?

Now that the conviction of a man who wrote a joke tweet about blowing up Robin Hood airport has been overturned, will his famous and media backers be turning their attention to having the conviction of Liam Stacey squished? I sure hope so.

Stacey was found guilty in March of committing a "racially aggravated public order offence" after tweeting a very poor taste joke about ailing footballer Fabrice Muamba, followed by several racist comments. He was imprisoned for 56 days. For tweeting. Yes, his tweets were dumb and offensive and written while Stacey was in the grip of drunkenness, but they were only tweets, only words, and to imprison a man for writing certain words is the hallmark of an authoritarian state.

For the backers of the airport bomb joker to fail to campaign with the same intensity for the overturning of Stacey's conviction would suggest double standards. It would suggest they're only interested in defending free speech for some but not for all, which of course is not free speech at all. It is privileged speech, the right to make jokes that Stephen Fry approves of, but not jokes that make Stephen Fry and his social ilk balk........

Patriarch of Syrian Catholics on Radio Vatican

Christian voices crying out from Syria,  but who the fuck cares.  Let the expendable Christians go to hell, aren't they the ones always preaching about life after death in Heaven?  So why are they bitching now, right?!!  Let's just focus on destroying the Assad regime, destroying Syria along with all those churches and synagogues that that blasted Assad decreed as heritage sites and worse still set aside a fund for their upkeep.  That's not good, not good at all.  He has to go.  "Off with his head" says the queen of witches from the mighty USA.

What's happening in Syria is like "Alice in Horrorland"  ....  even worse because Alice woke up from her nightmare,  the civilians of Syria will not.

... His Beatitude, Ignace Joseph III Younan,   Patriarch of Antioch of the Syriac Catholics, was in Rome this past week to share his concerns about the ongoing conflict which erupted in Syria almost a year ago.....
....Sean Patrick Lovett (SPL): Your Beatitude, for those of us who are following the situation in Syria, whether we are journalists or the public in general, we tend to be conditioned by what we see in the media and what we read in the media. You yourself have been through Homs. What have you seen? What have you experienced in your visits to Syria?
His Beatitude, Ignatius Ephrem Joseph III Yonan, Patriarch of Antioch of the Syriac Catholics (HB): As you said, Sean, I’ve been, last time in Syria, the 1st of February to February 3rd, and I took a ride from the northeast back to Beirut via north Lebanon. What I witnessed: That it was very, very tense situation, but in some parts, like Homs, it was the situation of conflict and of killing and fear among the citizens. Now regarding the media, I can tell you that we Christians– I don’t know if I express the feelings and the thoughts of all Christians – but since I have been following this situation, we feel that we have been deceived by the western nations. Deceived, not only disappointed. Deceived because we think that the West has forgotten the bulk of the situation in the Middle East. It’s not political, it’s not economical, it’s profoundly confessional, even religious. Because we were thinking that the West will uphold the civil rights for all. Civil rights, that means freedom of religion, of conscience, respecting others, or granting the same rights to all citizens, either from the minority or majority. But this was forgotten because they are thinking, and the media conglomerates are helping in that direction, that if the majority takes the power in those powers in the Middle East, that means that democracy will be reached or will be exercised. We think that democracy is not only because the majority of a population acts according to its convictions, or make decisions freely, but democracy has to respect first of all the basic rights of all.....

For wife-killers, Canada offers a deal you can't refuse, apply for immigration today, arrive here next year, be a bachelor again soon after

Just serve 5 years behind our 5-star prison bars and that's that.  Now is that a deal or what !!  So murder away.  We understand your frustration with pesky wives who are just begging to be killed.... we do, we do.

Crown argued for 7-10 years  (height of stupidity)
Defence argued  for  5-7
The wife killer gets 7.5 years behind bars which means that the murderer receives double credit for time served from June 2010 and will be out a free man  within the next 3 years.
The Canadian  justice system is not only broken, the broken pieces have been flung right out into outer space.  I shiver to think what the wife's parents must be going through with the kind of injustice the Canadian justice system has bestowed on their daughter and themselves.

A Surrey man who strangled his wife and then hid her body inside their young son's bed   has been sentenced to seven years and six months in prison.

Justice Terry Schultes sentenced Kamaljit Singh Dhanoa, 35, on Friday afternoon at B.C. Supreme Court in New Westminster. The Crown argued for a prison term of seven to 10 years and the defence, five to seven.

Dhanoa also received double credit for the time he'd already served in custody while awaiting trial. That means he'll actually be serving two years and five months more in jail.
Originally charged with second-degree murder, Kamaljit pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter, for killing his 32-year-old wife, Tejinder Kaur Dhanoa, at the couple's home at 13058 English Place, on Jan. 6, 2010.......

A whole lot of news from Syria here ... but only if you can tear yourself away from Kim Kardashian and Angelina Jolie

1) Lots of info in the article below, but knowing how the Grey Lady is a mistress of the WH, take everything you read with a pinch of salt.   Neil  MacFarquhar reporting in NewYorkTimes with Dalal Mawad and Hwaida Saad as contributors:
July 25 BEIRUT, Lebanon — The clamorous heart of Aleppo,    the ancient city with its cobbled streets and mazy bazaars, fell silent on Tuesday as residents there and across Syria’s sprawling commercial capital fled the streets and cowered indoors, dreading the rat-tat-tat of machine gun fire and the echoing roar of government helicopters.
Except for the helicopters, the government disappeared, said residents reached by telephone. There was no army and no traffic police, and all state employees were ordered to stay home, warned via official television broadcasts that they would be targeted by the rebel street fighters infiltrating central neighborhoods.

“People are still in shock that this is happening — they thought it would be limited to one neighborhood, but it is growing in size to other neighborhoods,” said Fadi Salem, an academic visiting his family. “They are scared of chaos and lawlessness more than anything else.”
Residents said there were clashes not just between the government and the insurgents, but also between rival militias from the countryside fighting for control of individual streets in at least one southern neighborhood. In a central old quarter, one man said a friend had warned him not to visit because young gunmen had established a checkpoint to rob car passengers........
.....In Washington, the secretary of state, Hillary Rodham Clinton, speaking as though the Syrian insurgency’s momentum was now unstoppable, said its territorial gains might be leveraged into safe havens. “We have to work closely with the opposition,” she told reporters, “because more and more territory is being taken and it will, eventually, result in a safe haven inside Syria, which will then provide a base for further actions by the opposition.”........

2) July 26 ....Rebel fighters also continued to arrive from surrounding areas, activists said. Although the insurgents claimed to have destroyed police stations in two neighborhoods, they were repulsed when they tried to take over two others, said Majed Abdel Nour, a spokesman in the city for the Shaam News Network, an antigovernment activist group.
The possibility of a major battle for Aleppo came as Turkey’s prime minister injected a new element of tension into the Syrian conflict, asserting that Syrian forces had abandoned territories close to the Turkish border that have since been occupied by Kurdish militants hostile to Turkey.
The Turkish prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, told reporters in Turkey that his country’s armed forces would “take whatever steps are necessary against terrorism” in these areas, foreshadowing possible Turkish military incursions into Syria, similar to Turkey’s incursions into areas of northern Iraq where Kurdish militants have sought sanctuary.......

3) The cancerous Saudi Arabia has a solution:  AFP via Yahoo reporting that  Saudi Arabia is proposing a UN General Assembly resolution which will highlight a Syrian government threat to use chemical weapons, its UN envoy said Wednesday.
The new Arab initiative follows the failure of a western-attempt to get the UN Security Council to threaten sanctions against Syria's President Bashar al-Assad over the 16-month-old conflict, diplomats said. Russia and China vetoed the council resolution last week.
Saudi Arabia's UN Ambassador Abdallah al-Mouallimi told a small group of reporters the resolution would be submitted in coming days and he hoped for a vote "probably early next week."
Asked whether the resolution would mention the Syrian government's threat made this week to use its chemical weapons if attacked, al-Mouallimi said "it will reference all of the issues that are of significance in the Syrian situation."
UN diplomats said the resolution could call on the 193 UN member states to follow sanctions that have been ordered against Syria by the Arab League. That would be opposed by Russia and China after their veto last Thursday..........

4)July 24 NYTimes's Rod Nordland writes: Al Qaeda Taking Deadly New Role in Syria’s Conflict. It is the sort of image that has become a staple of the Syrian revolution, a video of masked men calling themselves the Free Syrian Army and brandishing AK-47s — with one unsettling difference. In the background hang two flags of Al Qaeda, white Arabic writing on a black field.
“We are now forming suicide cells to make jihad in the name of God,” said a speaker in the video using the classical Arabic favored by Al Qaeda.
The video, posted on YouTube, is one more bit of evidence that Al Qaeda and other Islamic extremists are doing their best to hijack the Syrian revolution, with a growing although still limited success that has American intelligence officials publicly concerned, and Iraqi officials next door openly alarmed.
While leaders of the Syrian political and military opposition continue to deny any role for the extremists, Al Qaeda has helped to change the nature of the conflict, injecting the weapon it perfected in Iraq — suicide bombings — into the battle against President Bashar al-Assad with growing frequency.........

Dear Senator Dallaire

A friend of mine forwarded an email he has sent to the Canadian Senator Romeo Dallaire who has declared himself  a saint, but in reality he is far, far, far, far from sainthood of any kind.

Dear Senator Dallaire:
Yesterday I received an e-mail from you enclosing a  petition urging the return of Omar Khadr to Canada.

I will not be signing the petition.

In fact, I had already sent the Minister an email requesting that  he decline to sign a Prisoner Transfer Agreement, thereby blocking Omar Khadr's return to Canada, in the light of the appearance of Ezra Levant's new book "The Enemy Within: Terror, Lies, and the Whitewashing of Omar Khadr", which I read with consternation.

Omar Khadr's return to Canada so far in advance of serving his full sentence would send so many wrong signals that one does not know where to begin.

He would be a symbol for jihadis all over the world, generating much traffic and activity centring on Canada, both electronic communications and physical visits, thereby putting a further strain on our law enforcement agencies.  Further, his return would appear to fly in the face of the spirit of the government's new flagship crime bill.  It would also be seen as a sign of weakness by the very people we should not be encouraging.

A lot of us are looking to the current government to provide the same sort of leadership over this issue as they showed over Israel, Kyoto, etc.,  in the face of pressure from the liberal establishment to sign the Transfer Agreement.

Meanwhile, more recently, a very interesting item has come to light:
Saudi women's rights activist Wajeha Al-Huwaider points out that:
"... prisoners in Guantanamo Bay in some ways are better off than some Arab women who are kept as prisoners in their own homes.  While the Guantanamo prisoners " wear practical, light-cloured clothing suitable for the climate ... some Arab women are forced to wear impractical and suffocating garments    ... A prisoner in Guantanamo [can] see the sun, feel its rays and enjoy the caress of fresh air on his face, even when he is in chains, whereas the women in some Arab states  are shackled [both]  physically and spiritually ... the minute the girl enters her teens , she no longer sees the light of day, and she cannot breathe fresh air except through a veil, since she is covered from head to toe in black garments."

When Omar Khadr's sister and mother were interviewed on the CBC wearing such garments the interviewer should have told them that he was freer than they were.

Meanwhile, it's only fair that I draw your attention to the April issue of Literary Review, with  Reg Whitaker's review of Ezra Levant's book:  "Citizen Khadr, Either Omar Khadr has certain basic rights or no Canadian does. Which is it?" pp.   22-24.

There are serious points Ezra makes that Reg Whitaker simply ignores:
1)  Why Omar  Khadr is in no way a "child soldier" ( I would be very interested in your own comments on this one).
2)  The way Khadr and the other jihadis are playing the Canadian "liberal media-legal industrial complex"  strongly recalls the way in which the nuclear disarmament movement was largely directed from Moscow via local Communist parties, via its "useful idiot"  liberals.

------------
Further, the letter writer comments to me:
When contemplating DND, one is reminded of the passage in "Flashman at the Charge" where, just before his meeting with Michael Ignatieff's terrible great-grandfather, Flashman muses on the Tsarist public service; something along the lines of (quoting from memory)."Those Russian civil servants are a bad lot ....arrogant, corrupt, immensely puffed up .... they give themselves military ranks, so that you find that Colonel So-and-so is in charge of neglecting the parish sewage, or General ....  is fiddling municipal finances."

Step forward, Romeo Dallaire.
Apparently many in the military consider Dallaire to be a coward, not a hero, for his embarrassing role in Rwanda, for example, the Belgians, whose soldiers were slaughtered right under Dallaire 's nose as he was allegedly "negotiating" with their genocidal captors.  They'd like to try him for what they see as his abdication of leadership but the Liberal Gov't of the day protected him from any such extradition to face legal action.  Liberals love him for his wishy-washy "victimhood" nonsense, not to mention his  flagship status as a prominent Francophone.   There's a lot more to the Rwanda slaughter than most people realize.  It was an international failure of the highest order and Dallaire was a useful pawn in the UN's inaction.
How else can his actions circulating a petition calling for Omar Khadr to return to Canada be explained?

Everything you say makes perfect sense, friend.

Syrian Christians being used as human shields says Christian prelate

Is it the whole truth or propaganda tactics, I have no idea.  However, knowing the nature of the beast, I am inclined to believe a Christian nun over a murderous rebel and Al Qaeda terrorist.
Warlord Obama and his witch Hillary must be so proud doing the devil's work.  What great foot soldiers they are for the evil side ?!!!

(ANSAMed) - ROME, JULY 25 - Different armed militias  are rampaging through Aleppo, some of them flying al-Qaeda banners, the city is ''under siege'' and civilians have nowhere to run, Qara monastery Mother Superior Agnes-Mariam de la Croix told reporters here on Wednesday.

The militias ''are trying to enter the Christian minority enclave, and people fear another Homs,'' an eyewitness who is a prelate in Aleppo said in a phone conversation with de la Croix.
About 400 Christian families in the Homs neighborhoods of Hamidiyyeh and Al Bustan Diwan were used as human shields by rebel forces a month ago.

''The city is now under siege, overrun by militias coming from the northern border with Turkey, the city's southern exits are blocked and 200,000 civilians have nowhere to flee, except from one neighborhood to another,'' de la Croix said. The militias are infiltrated by foreigners, directed by various outside players, and ''are fighting each other in the streets,'' the mother superior added. As for the government forces which have entered last night in Aleppo, they were called by Sunnites in Aleppo's Salaheddin neighborhood, according to de la Croix. (ANSAmed).

Egypt's misery of the last 60 years ....

and in all probability that misery will increase a hundred-fold ... (that "hundred-fold" is in my opinion , not Dr.Pipes') but he does see the rule in Egypt getting worse.  His piece at his blog has  Time mag's pics of King Farouq down to Sadat and his insight on them.

This week marks 60 years since Egypt's self-proclaimed Free Officers overthrew the constitutional monarchy of King Farouq – and the first anniversary when one can imagine the demise of the military despotism that so long has wounded the country. Sadly, its most likely replacement will bring on an even worse rule........

The Brussels Process: Speeches from EDL leader Stephen Lennon, Magdi Allam and Ingrid Carlqvist ....

thanks to RightSideNews  for coverage of the event at their blog.

EDL leader Stephen Lennon aka Tommy Robinson:
... "You Can't Hide the Truth" Speech Delivered   To The ICLA Conference In The European Parliament.
Powerful testimony from Stephen Lennon, aka Tommy Robinson, watch his video below (go to link for vid)

I’ll stand up. I’m far from my comfort zone.  I’m used to — I’m used to standing on the street corners and speaking to my fellow countrymen. I’ve been involved in the Counterjihad movement for three years. I was unaware there was a Counterjihad movement prior to that. And I want to thank every one of you that have been fighting the fight for a lot longer than myself. It first come to my light, growing up in Luton, Luton is known as the heart of militant Islam........

Magdi Allam,  apostate converted to Catholicism:
The link has a video recording of the speech given by Magdi Allam at the Brussels Conference on July 9, 2012.
MEP Magdi Allam is an Egyptian apostate from Islam who now lives in Italy. He converted to Roman Catholicism and was baptized during the Vatican’s 2008 Easter Vigil service in St. Peter’s Basilica presided over by Pope Benedict XVI........

Ingrid Carlqvist was born in Stockholm. After graduating from Gothenburg University (journalism) in 1981, she worked as a reporter for Nordvastra Skanes Tidningar in Helsingborg. In 1987 she moved on to Kvallsposten in Malmö where she stayed for twelve years, first as a reporter and then as a news editor.

....Ladies and gentlemen. My name is Ingrid Carlqvist   and I was born in Sweden in 1960, when the Social Democrats were gonna rule forever and ever and our country was the nicest and safest and most progressed in the world. Now I live in Absurdistan – a country that has the highest figure of reported rapes in the world, hundreds of so called “exclusion areas” where people live outside the Swedish society and with newspapers that hide all these horrible facts to the people..........

Defender of Freedom awards:
Brussels, 9 July 2012   In order to further promote the effort to protect our civil liberties and reward pioneering efforts in the field, ICLA has created the annual “Defender of  Freedom Award.”
The name of the Award  comes from the need to recognize the genuine courage that – unfortunately – is usually required to defend natural and humanitarian issues such as individual freedom. Today, as in earlier times, secular and religious authorities are giving in to the temptation to limit or revoke those rights of citizens that should be self-evident. While it is commonly known that individuals speaking truth to power often face court cases or physical assaults, other consequences are less commonly known, such as loss of job opportunities, social exclusion and public condemnation. These are frequent problems for those who tell the “politically incorrect” truth and dare to spell out their opinions on such matters.
....ICLA will award the Defender of Freedom Award to these individuals each year, so that they may be recognized in their own time.

CNN's Erin Burnett visits Mali

CNN’s Erin Burnett reporting on what's happening in Mali. She was there to report on the Islamist militants group with ties to Al Qaeda that have taken over northern Mali forcing more than a quarter million people to flee to neighboring countries. More people have been displaced in Mali than Syria, and that too in the last few months.

Parts of Syria now firmly in Kurdish hands ...

as Assad's army abandon the Kurdish  areas to defend important  cities elsewhere.   Syria is being broken up ... into how many pieces, only time will tell. The Kurds themselves seem to signify that they are just keepers of the lands they have under their control now until the "elections" when they will elect their own Kurdish leader for their own areas.  According to the Kurds, they have reclaimed what was theirs all along.

This report comes from a link at the SyriaComment  blog.
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region -- Syrian governmental forces    have retreated from the Kurdish regions of Syria without a fight; the liberated cities are now being ruled evenly by the People's Council of Syrian Kurdistan (PYD) and the Kurdish National Council (KNC).

According to the information obtained by Rudaw, the Kurdish cities of Kobane, Derek, Amoude, Efrin and Sari Kani have fallen under the control of Syrian Kurdish forces.

The city of Kobane was the first Kurdish city to be liberated last Thursday, 17 months after the revolution against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad began.
The KNC and PYD agreed to jointly control the liberated Kurdish cities in a deal made in Erbil on July 11, under the supervision of Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani.
"According to the treaty of Erbil which was signed by the KNC and PYD, any administrative vacuum in the Kurdish cities of Syria will be occupied evenly -- 50/50 -- by these two signatories. These two groups will continue ruling the Kurdish regions until an election is carried out," said Nuri Brimo, a spokesperson of the Democratic Kurdish Party of Syria...........

....About three million Syrian Kurds are concentrated on a stretch of territory from the area northwest of Aleppo along the border with Turkey all the way to Iraq. In a way, the Turkish-Syrian border is the Turkish-Kurdish border.

Who are these Kurds that took over these towns?
On the surface, it is the Syrian Kurdish National Council and the West Kurdistan Popular Assembly that announced their decision to act together in the Supreme Kurdish Council. You will remember that this decision was announced on July 12 in a meeting held in Erbil under the patronage of Massoud Barzani.......

Thomas Sowell: Random thoughts on the passing scene

Dr. Sowell's wisdom can always be counted on.

...Even squirrels know enough to store nuts,   so that they will have something to eat when food gets scarce. But the welfare state has spawned a whole class of people who spend everything they get when times are good, and look to others to provide for their food and other basic needs when times turn bad.

The 14th Amendment to the Constitution prescribes "equal protection of the laws" to all Americans. But what does that mean, if the President of the United States can arbitrarily grant waivers, so that A, B and C have to obey the laws but X, Y and Z do not -- as with both ObamaCare and the immigration laws?

Two reports came out in the same week. One was from the Pentagon, saying that, in just a few years, Iran will be able to produce not only a nuclear bomb but a missile capable of carrying it to the United States. The other report said that the American Olympic team has uniforms made in China. This latter report received far more attention, both in Congress and in the media.

People who lament gridlock in Washington, and express the pious hope that Democrats and Republicans would put aside their partisan conflicts, and cooperate to help the economy recover, implicitly assume that what the economy needs is more meddling by politicians, which is what brought on economic disaster in the first place. (Skeptics can read "The Housing Boom and Bust.")

Racism is not dead, but it is on life support -- kept alive by politicians, race hustlers and people who get a sense of superiority by denouncing others as "racists."

One of the arguments for Medicare is that the elderly don't want to be a burden to their children. Apparently it is all right to be a burden to other people's children, who are paying taxes.

Those who talk as if more people going to college is automatically a Good Thing seldom show much interest in what actually goes on at college -- including far less time spent by students studying than in the past, and a proliferation of courses promoting a sense of grievance, entitlement or advanced navel-gazing and breast-beating...........

..........If we wake up some morning and find some American cities in radioactive ruins, courtesy of a nuclear Iran, nobody is going to care whether the president who lets this happen is the first black president or the last WASP president. But, in the meantime, many people will keep on voting for symbolism, as if an election is a popularity contest, like choosing a college's Homecoming Queen or Parade Marshal.........

Statcan's numbers on crime for year 2011

Overall,  crime figures show a downward trend.  What does that prove, if at all you want to take Statcan's figures at face value?   It throws sunlight on the fact that a large percentage of crimes committed in Canada are by Muslim immigrants ... just peep into some of the items here and tell me it aren't so.

Canada's overall police-reported crime rate  dropped six per cent in 2011 from the previous year, reflecting the lowest crime figures recorded since the Trudeau era.

Statistics compiled by the Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics (CCJS) and released Tuesday by Statistics Canada showed that the crime rate in 2011 was at its lowest level in 39 years.
The decline continues a downward trend that began in the 1990s.....

More here   and   here   and here.
Based on the crime severity index (an index which I consider to be loopy) these are the safest cities in Canada.
1. Guelph
2. Quebec
3. Toronto
4. Ottawa
5. Barrie
Tell that to the victims of crime in those cities and see if they believe you Statscan.

On the Endgame for Syria and the consequences

Most likely scenario and absolutely worth your time to read in full.

George Friedman of Stratfor writing at RightSideNews:
....We have entered the endgame in Syria.  That doesn't mean that we have reached the end by any means, but it does mean that the precondition has been met for the fall of the regime of Syrian President Bashar al Assad. We have argued that so long as the military and security apparatus remain intact and effective, the regime could endure.

Although they continue to function, neither appears intact any longer; their control of key areas such as Damascus and Aleppo is in doubt, and the reliability of their personnel, given defections, is no longer certain. We had thought that there was a reasonable chance of the al Assad regime surviving completely. That is no longer the case. At a certain point -- in our view, after the defection of a Syrian pilot June 21 and then the defection of the Tlass clan -- key members of the regime began to recalculate the probability of survival and their interests. The regime has not unraveled, but it is unraveling.

The speculation over al Assad's whereabouts and heavy fighting in Damascus is simply part of the regime's problems. Rumors, whether true or not, create uncertainty that the regime cannot afford right now. The outcome is unclear. On the one hand, a new regime might emerge that could exercise control. On the other hand, Syria could collapse into a Lebanon situation in which it disintegrates into regions held by various factions, with no effective central government......

Dear God ... Thank You for Anthony Furey of SUN TV

We shouldn't be glorifying hyphenated Canadians who return to the land of their lineage to fight in foreign conflicts.

Toronto resident Thwaiba Kanafani posted a YouTube video on July 7 announcing her intentions to join the Syrian rebel forces. The 41-year-old is a trained engineer and mother of two kids who were born in Canada. She was born in Damascus and moved to Canada in 2002. She said she could no longer sit idly by and watch people be murdered. She's now joined the Syrian Free Army to fight against President Assad.

I don't know her personally at all, but am willing to assume she's a great mother, great employee, pays her taxes, follows the law. Fine. And I'm definitely not a fan of President Assad. After all the horrible things he's done, he's now making threats about weapons of mass destruction and chemical warfare. But Assad's wrongs aside, I think we should ask some questions about what Kanafani is doing.....

Bloodless warfare !!!

Way to go !!  Congratulations to the computer wizards and awesome hackers.  Carry on with the good work.

Iranian nuclear facilities have reportedly  been attacked by a “music” virus, turning on lab PCs at night and blasting AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck.”

Mikko Hypponen, Chief Researcher at Finnish digital security firm F-secure, publicly released a letter he received from an unnamed Iranian scientist. The researcher, who claimed to work for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), said that another virus has struck the Natanz uranium enrichment facility in central Iran and a secret underground research facility at Fordo, southwest of Tehran.

The letter’s author reported that the virus shut down equipment (made by Germany’s Siemens Corporation) and automated systems at both research centers.

Hypponen published the letter on his blog, but cautioned that there is no way for him to verify the accusations. He was able to confirm, however, that the letter did originate from the AEOI’s servers.
The letter, which was reportedly sent to various cybersecurity experts, said that Metasploit’s Penetration Testing Software had been used to direct this new attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The scientist stressed that he is not a cybersecurity specialist, and does not have detailed information on the virus.

“There was also some music playing randomly on several of the workstations during the middle of the night with the volume maxed out. I believe it was playing ‘Thunderstruck’ by AC/DC,” the scientist wrote...........

The Brussels Process: Swedish reporter Ingrid Cariqvist tells her story

The horrors of Muslim immigration in Sweden brought to you straight from someone who's a resident of Malmo.  Really worth your time to read the entire speech.  We need to know what's ahead of us and our children, and force ourselves to envision the grim future that's in store for them.   The Muslim takeover is real .... maybe not in your lifetime but within the next 50 years. Do the math with the immigration numbers keeping in mind that Muslims don't abort their kids.

....Ladies and gentlemen. My name is Ingrid Carlqvist   and I was born in Sweden in 1960, when the Social Democrats were gonna rule forever and ever and our country was the nicest and safest and most progressed in the world. Now I live in Absurdistan – a country that has the highest figure of reported rapes in the world, hundreds of so called “exclusion areas” where people live outside the Swedish society and with newspapers that hide all these horrible facts to the people.

I feel just like Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz – a tornado came and blew me miles and miles away from home and dumped me in a country I don’t know.

“Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Sweden anymore.”

Like Dorothy I’m searching for a way to find my home, but on my path I only meet lions without courage, scarecrows without brains and tin men without hearts.

When I grew up our prime minister was Tage Erlander, a Social Democrat. In 1965 he said in parliament, after violent race riots in America:

“We Swedes live in a so infinitely happier situation. The population in our country is homogeneous, not just according to race but also in many other aspects.”

Now I live in a nation that is not homogenous in any respect. Olof Palme that came after him decided that homogeneous was a bad thing and opened up our borders for people from all over the world. And from right to left the politicians told us that there was no such thing as a Swedish culture, no Swedish traditions worth mentioning and that we Swedes should be grateful that so many people with REAL culture and REAL traditions came to us.

Mona Sahlin, a later leader of the Social Democrats, said in an interview 2002 with the magazine Euroturk, when asked what Swedish culture is:

”I’ve often had that question, but I can’t think of what Swedish culture is. I think that is what makes us Swedes so envious of immigrants. You have a culture, an identity, something that ties you together. What do we have? We have Midsummer’s Eve and such corny things.”

She also said: The Swedes must integrate into the new Sweden. The old Sweden is not coming back.
In this New Sweden we have more reported rapes than any other country in the European Union, according to a study by professor Liz Kelly from England. More than 5 000 rapes or attempted rapes were reported in 2008 (last year it was more than 6 000). In 2010 another study reported that just one country in the world has more rapes than Sweden, and that is Lesotho in South Africa. For every 100 000 inhabitants Lesotho has 92 reported rapes, Sweden has 53, The United States 29, Norway 20 and Denmark 7.....

..........In the New Sweden we need armed police officers at our hospitals because rivalling families fight each other in the hospital rooms. They gun each other down in open streets and they rob and beat old people up. The crime rate grows by the minute, but the Swedish politicians and journalists tell us that is has absolutely nothing to do with immigration. The fact that our prisons are full of foreign people is just a coincidence or is explained by socio-economic factors.

For many years I was a journalist in the mainstream media. But I was always a bit of a troublemaker, always suspicious of what people said was THE TRUTH. When everybody ran in one direction, I turned around in the other direction to see what was there.

In January 2011 something happened to make me loose my last hope about Swedish journalists. I was the vice chairman of The Society of Publicists in Malmö and had invited the Danish journalist Mikael Jalving to talk about his coming book “Absolute Sweden – a Journey in the Country of Silence”. One day the chairman phoned me and said: We must cancel Mikael Jalving because he is going to talk at a meeting arranged by a newspaper called National Today.

It didn’t matter to him, or to anyone else on the board of this society for journalists that Jalving was going to talk about his book. If he went to that meeting he would be infected by nationalist ideas and probably he would become a Nazi.

You see, everyone with a different opinion in Sweden really IS a Nazi!

That’s the way it works in the New Sweden, the country I call Absurdistan. The country of silence.
I was furious and left the board of that society. That led to my being .....
