NO.... Landslides in BC not due to AGW

CTV talks to a landslide expert from Fraser Institute and I was glad to hear his opinion that this area has a long history of landslides and that the landslides cannot be blamed on global warming. I bet the CTV guy was not very happy with that point of view because  he did his best to bring in the global warming religion into the conversation.

Police and firefighters went door-to-door through the Lillooet River Valley late Friday night to rouse more than 1,500 people from their homes after a landslide sparked fears of imminent flooding.

The order affects residents along the Lillooet River Valley floodplain in the Pemberton Meadows, upstream of Miller Creek, and the Lillooet River Valley floodplain from the Lillooet River Bridge on Highway 99 downstream to Lillooet Lake.....
