Japanese oil tanker attacked in the Strait of Hormuz. Why am I happy? It's not because I have anything against the Japanese, but I can see how tankers carrying the dirty Arabic oil can be easily attacked and that makes me deliciously happy. If the world cannot have access to the Middle East's bloody oil, then they will have to depend on our "bloodless" oil in Alberta. Nice, Nice, Nice !!! More power to Canada.
.... "The attack is not a major attack in terms of its target. But the geography is really worrying," said Mustafa Alani, director of national security and terrorism studies for the Dubai-based Gulf Research Center. "Now, they are able to attack outside the Strait of Hormuz where 17 million barrels of oil a day are transported. The fact that they are able to do this is a wake up call."
