Tennis match of the century... maybe

I tried to call my best friend after the earthquake to just sort of check notes on the event and the tennis freak is not taking any calls. The woman must be glued to the match going on at Wimbledon. It is already in it's 10th hour and still going strong. It started on Tuesday night, got suspended for the night and now continues on.  If not for the football mania going on at the moment, this would have made the news.

Wimbledon contest locked in an epic fifth-set battle has become the longest match in tennis history — and it's not over yet. The first-round match between American John Isner and France's Nicolas Mahut, approaching 10 hours total and almost seven for the day, was suspended for the evening at 9 p.m. The fifth set stood at 59-59. A third day of play will begin tomorrow.
