Man of calibre, man of his word. How rare is that in a politician!!! He said he would investigate all the hanky-panky going on in Toronto's govt. depts.... and boy-oh-boy .... he is doing it !!! The cogs in the wheels of the gravy train are coming loose.... as he promised he would start doing. Thank you Mayor Ford.
Seven of the nine citizen board members of the Toronto Community Housing Corporation have tendered their resignations in the wake of a scathing report that uncovered questionable spending and millions in improperly tendered contracts.
The seven, including TCHC Chair David Mitchell, tendered their resignations at a public meeting Thursday morning.
The two members who are staying on are tenant representatives. The two are TCHC tenants themselves.....
