Typical of the Left .... criticize your opponent's personal shortcomings

I just sat through 90 minutes of the last debate between the 3 forerunners in the City of Toronto Mayoral race. IMO, Rob Ford came out the winner as he will on October 25.

What was galling and needs to be pointed out is that George Smitherman found an opportunity to poke fun at the third candidate, a very jovial and likeable person, Joe Pantalone. Pantalone is our assistant Mayor and has a  "not tall" stature.  So, the nasty Smitherman says something about Pantalone's "legs not  long enough" to nudge Rob Ford's ... the three of them were sitting in a triangle and Joe Pantalone asked a funny question of Ford. He said something to the effect of " ...if the choice was between himself and Smitherman who would Rob Ford choose to cast his vote for..." that's when Smitherman makes the funny about Joe Pantalone's legs not being long enough to nudge Ford's legs for giving the right answer or whatever.

Yes folks ...... this is the kind of trashy personality in the persona of George Smitherman, that we have running for mayor of this great city of Canada. To even think that he is in the top three just makes me heave up in retches.

  1. Now Now, don't you know that it's OK to belittle someone, or crack fat jokes, or demean someone if you are a Liberal.

They can be as mean and nasty and divisive as they like all the while pointing at the other person for their "shortcomings".

It is inherent in their brains - they don't see what they do as being wrong. They are being blatantly honest and expect that you will realize what an idiot you have been for not seeing it in the first place
