Project Veritas wondered if terrorists could enter USA through Canada and .....

got the answer they were hoping they wouldn't get.

James O'Keefe at ProjectVeritas:
Can ISIS Enter America Through Canada?

Last month I crossed the border dressed as Osama bin Laden. Today we released a follow-up investigation.
It was so easy to cross into the United States from Mexico, we began asking questions about the Northern border. After all, British intelligence believes more than 500 British citizens have joined ISIS, and British citizens can enter Canada without a visa.
Frankly, we were disheartened by what we found. Watch for yourself.

Canadian-Egyptians flying back to Canada after their vacation on Egyptian passports !

Simple logic is not everybody's forte.  If you have become a Canadian citizen, you are supposed to travel on a Canadian passport .... at least that's what I thought everybody would know.  I don't know how it works for dual citizenship holders who have their feet wobbling in two boats.

Nicholas Keung writing at TorontoStar:
Warning to dual citizens: Travelling with a foreign passport may make it tough to come home to Canada.

What happened to a Milton family returning from a summer holiday in Florida on Air Canada offers a cautionary tale for Canadians who use a foreign passport when travelling outside the country.
Canadian citizens Wael Ghali, his wife, Mira Wassef, and their teenage boys, Michael and Youssef, were stuck in the Tampa airport after an Air Canada agent refused to let them board their flight because she didn’t accept their Egyptian passports and photo citizenship certificates as valid documents to re-enter Canada.

“We’d called the Canada Border Services Agency before we left for Florida and we were told it’d be totally fine,” said Ghali, an English teacher from Egypt, who moved here in 2008 and took the oath with his family at a citizenship ceremony days before leaving for the 10-day trip on July 1. “We did our diligence.”
In normal circumstances, permanent residents who have yet to become Canadian citizens must travel with passports from their country of origin, plus what’s called a PR (permanent resident) card issued by Ottawa, as proof that they can legally stay in Canada and do not need a visa.

However, when someone becomes a Canadian citizen, the PR card is taken away — as was the case for the Ghali family — and coming home to Canada may become a problem with a foreign passport unaccompanied by a visitor’s visa.

Ghali, 45, said the family had booked their vacation in March and were notified about their citizenship test later. They were scheduled for their citizenship ceremony on June 24, leaving them less than five business days to apply for a Canadian passport.
To avoid incurring additional costs — $857 — for an urgent pickup of four Canadian passports, Ghali contacted border officials for ...........

Everybody wants a piece of what's over the fence

UAE's prominent biggie claims that Qatar belongs to his country and should be considered as the 8th Emirate.

While the whole world is playing this nice little game,  why can't Canada claim that Alaska belongs to us?  The Atlas is sure to rule in our favor.  Just look at the map.  Who was the idiot who gave it away to the USA?

Nada Badawi writing at DohaNews:
....Emirati official draws ire  after calling on UAE to ‘reclaim’ Qatar.  New remarks from one of Dubai’s top security officials, who has called for the annexation of Qatar into the UAE, are generating an outpouring of online response from Doha’s local community.

In a series of tweets posted this week to his more than 600,000 followers, Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan, the deputy chairman of Police and General Security in Dubai, said:
Translation: “We demand that Qatar be returned to its original ruling under Abu Dhabi, return the branch to its original one.”
“Qatar is an integral part of the UAE. We must put up signs on our borders with Qatar stating: ‘You are now entering the UAE’s eighth emirate.’”
“Qatar should not be ‘a safe haven’ to the so-called ‘Muslim’ Brotherhood.”...........

Canada's Last Frontier

The Globe & Mail is running editorials on Northern Canada ... started a couple of days back.  Quite informative.  We on the Right can choose to ignore the barbs shot at the PM in some of them and read the stuff for the various items of info provided,  some of which info I found to be eye-opening stuff.

some paras from Editor John Stackhouse letter
.... Letter from the editor:....
.....As southern as we, individually, may be, the North has again become a test of nation-building.
But whose nation? And how should it be built?
Those questions are among the most important facing Canada, as we chair the Arctic Council and our federal government charts an increasingly bold northern strategy.
To search for answers, we dispatched a dozen journalists to explore every corner they could reach, fanning across an expanse larger than India. Combined, they travelled 60,000 kilometres, from Iqaluit in the east to Whitehorse in the west, and from the northern reaches of Eureka to Cape Dorset in the south.
Their stories, videos and photographs begin to appear today and will continue to roll out on our website and mobile apps over the next week, along with commentary and insight from Canada’s most influential voices on northern affairs, and debate among our readers......

Nice chart and info here.

Here are 3 pages of great pics from the North

Arctic riches .... Battle for the new frontiers

Will Canada, Russia and Denmark come to blows over claims for the extension of  the borders of all three countries?  This is exciting!

One thing bothers me. Why did Canada file only "partial submission to the UN Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf"  ... don't we have enough cartographers around who could have worked round the clock to get more than a "partial submission" by the due date of December 6th?  Hope this does not come back to bite us in the butt.

From CTVNews:
Canada has filed a claim that    dramatically expands the country's boundaries in the Atlantic Ocean, but it will be a few more years before Canadian scientists determine whether that claim can extend all the way to the North Pole.
Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird -- along with Minister for the Arctic Council Leona Aglukkaq -- announced Canada's submission with the UN's Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf, which covers 1.2 million square kilometres of the Atlantic Ocean floor.
During a news conference in Ottawa on Monday, Baird said Canada also filed preliminary information on what it believes to be the outer limits of its claim to the Arctic seafloor.
While the area is not yet fully mapped, Baird says Canada will try to extend its territorial claims to the North Pole.
"We are determined to ensure that all Canadians benefit from the tremendous resources that are to be found in Canada's Far North," he said.
The Arctic is believed to contain as much as one-quarter of the world’s undiscovered energy resources.
Aglukkaq said expanding Canada's continental shelf is central to Canada's future economic prosperity.
"We are defining Canada's last frontier," she said.........

From Globe&Mail:
Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister    said his government intends to lay claim to the North Pole, but is delaying a full international bid for seabed rights in the resource-rich Arctic until scientists can gather sufficient data to back up this territorial expansion.

John Baird held a news conference Monday to explain why Canada has filed only a partial submission to the UN Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf by last’s week’s deadline.
He made it clear that Ottawa has no intention of forfeiting the geographic North Pole, a stand that will put Canada at odds with Russia and Denmark – two countries expected to stake an interest in the region. This is the first time a government cabinet minister has publicly declared Canada wants to claim the Pole.
Mr. Baird said Canada has not completed mapping the underwater Lomonosov Ridge that the government hopes would effectively link this country to the North Pole.
The due date for Canada’s filing was Dec. 6 and Ottawa confirmed Monday that it filed only a partial claim last week that included a separate for 1.2 million square kilometres of Atlantic seabed rights plus a note saying it would file an Arctic claim at a later date........

From TorontoSun:
... The Conservatives hinted Tuesday    that Russia should check its Arctic rhetoric after President Vladimir Putin pushed plans to beef up his country's military presence in their northern waters.
The Russian president's announcement of a major expansion of military resources along its Arctic coastline raised some eyebrows when it came a day after Canada confirmed it was keen to plant the Maple Leaf on the North Pole.....

Muslim and Arab crime wave in Canada ... Part XLIII

405) The sister of the murdered woman has started a petition to deport illegal immigrants    after first offense.  Please sign it if you agree.

Information hidden from the public  in hate crime torture/murder of beautiful Alberta teen.Four years ago  beautiful Alberta woman named Jenna Cartwright was brutally raped, killed, and her body mutilated. The authorities hid information about the killer from the public. It has only now been made available.
The killer was a hard-core career criminal from Somalia that had already been convicted of multiple crimes in Canada. The Canada Border Services Agency deemed him a huge risk to public safety. They had asked that he be deported and held behind bars until the deportation took place. Instead the Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Board released him to continue terrorizing Alberta............

Murdered Alberta woman Jenna Cartwright 'betrayed' by Canadian immigration board, says sister.  His rights, as a convicted drug trafficker ordered deported to Somalia, were deemed more important than the guaranteed safety of Canadian citizens.
And so, despite warnings that Bashir Gaashaan was a flight risk who posed a danger to the public, Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Board let him go — a freedom that lasted exactly one year and eight months.
On June 15, 2011, RCMP in Alberta announced they had arrested Gaashaan, charging him with first-degree murder, unlawful confinement, offering an indignity to human remains, sexual assault and trafficking in cocaine.
The body of Jenna Cartwright, 21, a young mom from Red Deer, had been discovered in a ditch near Olds — and police believe the man ordered out of Canada two years earlier killed her.

Border guard shot in neck at BC crossing

The story is  fuzzy at this point  in time.  It looks like the gunman shot  the guard while she was in the booth and then turned the gun on himself.  I guess, we will know more at a later date.

.....A lone gunman entering Canada from the U.S. shot a Canadian border agent inside her booth at a B.C. crossing point Tuesday before turning his gun on himself, RCMP said.

Surrey RCMP Cpl. Bert Paquet said the officer was airlifted to hospital and “was breathing at the time,” but her condition was not known. He said it appeared she had been shot in the neck.

Officers responded to a 911 call from a witness at 2 p.m., and found the border agent wounded and the gunman dead at the Douglas Border Crossing in Surrey.

“In the incident following the shooting of the officer, the lone male was pronounced dead at the scene from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” Paquet told reporters.

Little was known about the identity of the gunman, other than he was in a van bearing Washington licence plates. Paquet said it was not yet clear whether the gunman was the owner of the vehicle. A witness at the scene told CTV it appeared there was a mattress in the back of the van....

Goodbye Feeedom of Speech my good friend .... RIP in Canadian soil

Just read the streamer on SUNTV  that Pastor Terry Jones was banned from entering Canada.   Like I keep telling anyone who will listen to me, there's no difference between the Conservatives, Liberals or the NDP.  All three parties are  full to the brim with psychopaths.  It does not really matter who is at the helm of Canada ... the intention of each and every politician in Ottawa is to crash the ship with all of us irrelevant citizenry aboard, into the biggest iceberg ever.

Is it easy to cheat the Canadian Refugee Board? Nothing is more simple

O Canada
Gone are the morals and ethics of old;
The world has changed O sweet Canada.
Your new refugees and immigrants
don't think of you;
No ... not at all.
How long before the one way street
cracks and the crevice created;
swallows those who still try to
stand on guard for thee?

....This account describes the steps   that an Israeli man, his wife and two children followed to apply ( fraudulently ) for asylum in Canada. It is a continuation of a story which we published in November of 2011. See the following for Part 1 : As readers will see,   “Lying Our Way To Canada” is the beginning of an Israeli citizen’s confession of his family’s false refugee claim in Canada. Part 2 continues the confession.

This confession should remind Canadians of the extensive fraud that has occurred in Canada’s refugee system.

This is a very large problem for a number of reasons.
(1) Since 1989, over 700,000 people have filed refugee claims here.
(2) Canada has one of the highest refugee claim acceptance rates in the world.
(3) The impact of refugee claimants is enormous. Our Department of Citizenship and Immigration has not revealed the number of relatives that accepted refugees have sponsored, but that figure is probably the major percentage of Family Class immigrants who have come to Canada. Refugees and their sponsored family members probably comprise well over 2 million of the 5 million immigrants that Canada has taken in the past 20 years. For example, as we have pointed out before, one Somali man has brought 100 “family” members to Canada. Many well-publicized cases of fraud demonstrate the cheating that has occurred in Canada’s refugee system.........

......LYING OUR WAY TO CANADA—–PART 1
I am writing from Tel Aviv in Israel. The major characters in the following story are me (Innocent Kwarteng—a fake name I used in Canada), my ex-wife, and my two oldest children. We are all Israeli citizens. My wife is an Ethiopian Falasha Jew who was brought to Israel under a project which allowed Ethiopian Jews to return to Israel as new Immigrants. I am not Jewish originally. I married my wife in 1996 in Israel and as a result, I received Israeli Citizenship. My two oldest children were born in Israel and they are Jewish, based upon the fact that their mother is Jewish.

On May 21, 2007, after I, my wife and two oldest children had traveled from Israel to Orlando, Florida for a family vacation at Disney World, we drove a rented car from Florida to Niagara Falls, Ontario to visit Israeli friends who lived in Toronto. At the time we entered Canada in 2007, I did not think that .........

America's homeland security does awesome work on their northern border....

as should be.  Canada is full of Hezbollah and Hamas terrorists, don't  you know.   All those stories you hear about headless torsos and illegals crossing from Mexico  into the USA with prayer mats and false documents.... are just that, stories.  No truth in any of those fairy tales. It's all fine and dandy on their southern border.  The one real troublesome area for the entire USA is our Canadian border, because you see, we have Kinder chocolate eggs here.  Plenty of them.  Yeah, better believe it.  Kinder eggs coming over from the northern border are banned in the USA.  Terrorists and illegals coming over from their southern  border are not.

....Brandon Loo and Christopher Sweeney told KOMO they decided to bring home some treats for friends and family during a recent trip to Vancouver, British Columbia. They bought Kinder Eggs — chocolate eggs with a toy inside.

The two men say border guards searched their car and said the eggs are illegal in the United States because young children could choke on the small plastic toys.  Importing them can lead to a potentially hefty fine.
Sweeney says one border guard said they could be fined $2,500 per egg.  The pair said they could have faced a $15,000 fine.

Sweeney says the bust was a waste of his time and the agents' time. The men eventually got off with a warning.

Mike Milne with U.S. Customs and Border Protection told a Canadian paper that officers do not usually fine travelers for carrying the chocolates, but they do normally confiscate them. Roughly 60,000 Kinder eggs were seized last year.....

Ontario Superior Court Justice Lynn Ratushny said she questioned the sincerity of Mohamed Jama Yusuf’s last-minute apology before sentencing him for “violently and callously” delivering the deadly punch that would take the life of 51-year-old Sean Murphy.....

217) It began as a brazen daytime abduction attempt and ended in chaos. Now three would-be kidnappers have been handed lengthy prison sentences.
Biniam Fitur was sentenced today to seven years behind bars, which is the same penalty given to co-accused Pedro Maldonado and one year less than Jeremy Egan. All three men were found guilty of several charges, including attempted kidnapping and assault, for the January 2008 incident.
The case against all three men was based largely on the testimony of a former friend, Patrick Hiltz, who was charged but struck an immunity deal. All charges against him were dropped in exchange for his co-operation.
Justice Shawn Greenberg convicted the accused after she found Hiltz to be credible. Defence lawyers tried to paint him as a lying con artist.
The plot was hatched by Fitur, who wanted to steal $100,000 in cash and cocaine from the victim -- a customer who dealt drugs on the street -- so he would have to purchase even more product from him, court was told..............

218) On the evening of March 26,  2011, 43 year old Zsolt Csikos was fatally stabbed outside his apartment building in Burnaby. Yacine Zouaoui (Pronounced Zoo-aw-wee) was subsequently charged with the 2nd degree murder of Mr. Csikos.
On May 28, 2012 the trial of Mr. Zouaoui began in Vancouver Supreme Court. On June 13, 2012, a jury found Mr. Zouaoui guilty of 2nd Degree Murder

Mohammad Hamadeh, 44, repeatedly stabbed Marion Lyons "in a rage" after she refused to give him money, Judge Michael Dambrot said in sentencing Hamadeh for second-degree murder.
A jury found Hamadeh guilty in March. He was automatically sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Lyons on Jan. 6, 2009.
Crown attorney Susan Ientile said Hamadeh exploited a trusting, independent woman and stabbed her more than 91 times, using three different weapons.

La Presse does what the MSM usually does ... report one-sided news

The reporter at La Presse and the lawyer representing Joanna Martinez should hide their faces in shame ... but then when have we known of  reporters and especially lawyers ever being ashamed of whatever they do or say?

Minister Kenney’s Office releases statement regarding article in La Presse.

Ottawa, June 12, 2012 — The Office of the Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, released the following statement today regarding an article that appeared on Monday in La Presse:

On June 11, 2012, La Presse journalist Anabelle Nicoud wrote an article about Joanna Martinez. Ms. Nicoud did not approach CIC before writing the article.

Stories presenting only one side of a story can lead to public distrust of the rule of law. Factually incorrect or incomplete reporting usually leaves the impression that Canada’s refugee determination system is unjust or heartless. In fact, Canada has the most generous and fair refugee determination system in the world. Less than one per cent of the decisions made by the highly-trained adjudicators on the Immigration and Refugee Board are overturned by the federal courts on appeal. That is a remarkable record, and one of which Canadians should be proud.

In order to ensure that the reputation of our refugee determination system is not tarnished unfairly, we are releasing the full chronology of Ms. Martinez and her interactions with Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Although privacy laws generally forbid us from releasing such information, in this case Ms.  Martinez has a long, public record in front of criminal and civil courts in Canada and the United States. We are releasing only the public information, which is still an incomplete picture of the case....

Summary of facts:
Ms. Martinez is a fugitive, with a long criminal history in at least three states: New York, New Jersey and Florida. She has used at least 15 (possibly as many as 20) different aliases in the past.
She has claimed at least nine different dates of birth ranging from August 8, 1970 to April 27, 1979.
She has also claimed various different places of birth.
She claimed refugee status in Canada, maintaining that her husband Fernando Suarez-Garcia was kidnapped by the Colombian Revolutionary Armed Force (FARC) and that her life was in danger in Colombia. Ms. Martinez has claimed various dates for the kidnapping, ranging from June 23, 2004 to July 29, 2004.
The IRB found that Ms. Martinez was not “credible.” Ms. Martinez could not satisfy the IRB that she and her family were actually in Colombia at the time of the claimed kidnapping.
The IRB found that Ms. Martinez could not answer direct questions and was inconsistent in her answers.
When asked about her arrival in Toronto on August 2, 2004, Ms. Martinez claimed that she enjoyed Toronto and that she remembers there being snow on the ground.
Fernando Suarez-Garcia, the husband of Ms. Martinez, has been found to be a member of a criminal organization specializing in jewellery and money theft in the Montreal area....

here is the article from La Presse ... she sure looks all sweet and innocent.

A "permanent" deportee and the clowns at the Canadian Border Services

Recently, Canadian Border Services tried to deport a guy who has been in  Canadian prisons for 7 years, however, when the officers took him to Cameroon or Guinea (the whole story from Toronto Sun is pretty muddled) the authorities in (somewhere in Africa) would not accept the "deportee" and the guy is back in Canada after a mucky trail of the officers themselves getting detained in Africa, etc.   To top everything,  the Canadian authorities don't have a clue about the guy's homeland because he has NEVER revealed it, yet our know-it-alls took it upon themselves to fly thousands of miles on taxpayers' money to some corner of Africa to unload the man who is in Canada, apparently also under a false name.

Now if that was not funny enough, how about what the news of this episode garnered in an online outlet of the Cameroon? I laughed a whole lot reading the comments and if you have a funny bone you will too.

Next time round the Canadian Border Services could try their luck with another corner of Africa ... HAHAHAHHAHAHHA.  Mah-oh-man, the best clowns are found walking the corridors of govt. offices.

In which a 13-yr old girl can be sold in marriage, slumlords are slimy, Obama is the best "Jewish" prez and other stuff

The islamization of the West. ...What does a 13 year old American girl go for in Pakistan? Three thousand dollars. You might want to remember that number the next time another episode of Mosque on the Prairie airs or an expert says that we shouldn't fear the rise of political Islam in Libya or Tunisia or London. The next time you see a cheerful news report on a local Muslim community celebrating Eid, remember the number.....

The free and mighty Charlie Hebdo ... hip, hip, hurray: ....First, it is pleasing to observe how, once again, French political factions from the left and right are standing with Charlie Hebdo in the face of this attack on the right to freedom of expression. A report by the center-right Le Figaro provides a useful overview of reactions to the firebombing. For example, the center-right Union for a Popular Movement's secretary general -- Jean-François Copé -- rightly pointed out that "there can be no impunity [for this]. It's an act which must give rise to legal proceedings." The Communist party was unequivocal in describing the vandalism as an "appalling act," adding that "political and media debate cannot be controlled at the hands of Molotov cocktails."

In fact, the firm support for free speech across the French political spectrum was also apparent in 2007, when the Grand Mosque, World Islamic League, and Union of French Islamic Organizations sued the magazine for incitement to racism for reprinting the Danish cartoons. The case resulted in an acquittal by a court in Paris as leading figures of the left and right came to testify on Charlie Hebdo's behalf. So too calls to support Charlie Hebdo unreservedly in the wake of the firebombing have come from the major French media outlets like Le Monde and Le Figaro.....

Sarkozy's "he's a liar" explained: ...In fairness to Sarkozy, he used the word “liar” advisedly. What does it mean to be a “liar?” Tell the Emperor he has no clothes, and he will scream, “Liar!” Tell the Heaven’s Gate cult that space aliens are not coming to meet them up on the comet, and they will shout, “Liar!” Tell a schizophrenic that the CIA did not implant a radio transmitter in his brain, and he will shout, “Liar!” Tell a trusting wife that her husband is cheating on her, and she will shout, “Liar!” (Tell Hillary Clinton that Bill is not cheating on her, and she also will shout “Liar!”). And tell a European politician that the world has changed such that the European political class no longer has a reason to exist, and he will scream “Liar! Liar!” until his lungs collapse.

Egypt is about to turn into Somalia-on-the-Nile, with unlimited leakage of weapons to Hamas in Gaza. That makes an agreement between Israel and the Palestinians about as probable as the return of the Pharaohs.....

Glenn Beck: Did you know that Obama has done more for the Jews and Israel than any other Prez? Did you know that he is considered to be the 51st most influential "Jew" in America? HAHAHAHHAAHHA ... There are some truly deranged people in the lefty media and Beck knows how to ferret them out.

Andrew Klavan: ....And yes, it’s unfair. But there’s a reason it’s unfair—a reason it should be unfair. There’s a reason we right wingers vet our candidates while the left adulates theirs, a reason we condemn our miscreants while the left elevates theirs, a reason our news outlets cover stories that the left covers up.

The reason is: we’re the good guys. We have to do what’s right. The left doesn’t. Sorry, but that’s the way it works. It’s the price you pay for defending what’s true and good, the price of holding yourself to a high moral standard. Our politicians have to be better than their politicians. Our journalists have to be more honest. Even our protesters have to behave with decorum and decency—and still suffer being slandered—while theirs can act like animals and commit acts of violence and lawlessness and spew anti-semitic filth and still find themselves excused and glorified.....

Beware of Islamist slumlords. As Islamists increasingly look to real estate as a means of planting their flag and forwarding their agenda, it is worth noting the revelations that depict some of America's most prominent Islamist-leaning developers and property managers as agents of urban squalor. An October 23 article in the New York Post reports that the head of the controversial mosque project near Ground Zero "can't take care of a rat-ridden apartment building with just 14 units":

Sharif El-Gamal, the main developer behind the mosque, has nearly 400 open violations that he has refused to fix despite a court order. His company owes the city $61,633 in fines, fees, and taxes for the property at 1835 Amsterdam Ave. Complaints lodged against the company include vermin infestations, lack of heat, and obstructed stairs and fire escapes. It has been engaged in legal battles with both tenants and the city.

A similar pattern of neglect sullies Feisal Rauf, the Shari'a-promoting imam who once was the face of El-Gamal's planned Islamic center. In 2010, the Record exposed Rauf as "a New Jersey landlord who got more than $2 million in public financing to renovate low-income apartments and has been beset for years by tenant complaints," which range "from failure to pick up garbage, to rat and bedbug infestations and no heat and hot water" — not to mention the occasional hallway that reeks of urine. After Union City filed suit against Rauf last year, with the mayor calling him one of its worst "slumlords," a judge placed his buildings into receivership.....

Marriage fraud, Canadian style: Canada’s border agency has opened more than three dozen criminal investigations related to marriage fraud in the last few years, newly released documents show. The Canada Border Services Agency has also begun a probe of possible organized criminal involvement in arranging marriages of convenience to attain status in Canada....

What they are saying about us down south ....

and I for one don't blame them. They are absolutely right.  We are churning out future time-bombs and other kind of bombs by importing muslim immigrants into Canada.

...."Canada is well-known for its lenient immigration policies, and, according to Canadian Security Intelligence Service, Canada ranks second highest in the world for active terrorist groups," she wrote in a column published on Thursday.

"Many believe Canada has a dysfunctional refugee system that all but invites terrorists into its fold because it is known as the easiest developed world country for applicants to obtain refugee status, and allows them four years to roam to and fro while awaiting the legal process."

While Brown acknowledges the 9-11 attackers didn't come from Canada, she says several suspected terrorists have attempted to enter the US from from their northern border.

"Rather than strengthening our security, it appears the administration is doing the opposite," she writes.

Meanwhile, STRATFOR, a global intelligence think-tank based in Texas, says when it comes to the threat of terrorism, the Canadian border is a bigger problem than the Mexican one.

"As STRATFOR has noted before, many terrorist plots have originated in Canada — far more than have had any sort of nexus to Mexico," a recent article on their website notes......

The Russians are coming, the Russians are coming...

CBC reports that: The Department of National Defence has sent a surveillance plane to waters off Canada's East Coast to monitor a pair of nuclear-powered Russian submarines in the area.

The attack subs were first spotted on Aug. 5 in international waters off Georgia, according to officials. The presence of the boats was leaked to the New York Times last week by anonymous security analysts. A pair of Russian Akula nuclear submarines, like the one shown in this file photo, have been spotted off of Canada's East Coast. (Associated Press)

While the subs were off the U.S. coast, the Pentagon was also monitoring their movements but no action was taken against the vessels. Canadian officials said information indicates the Akula-class warships have now moved north Russian subs nearing our coasts Off topic: I wonder if the missing Russian cargo ship has actually been hijacked by pirates off the Swedish coast and maybe taken to one of the 1000s of islands littered all over the Barents Sea. If so, then the Somalian Pirate Enterprise is going International.
