Brian Lilley talks to Tom Quiggin, the author of the report "Muslim Brotherhood in Canada"

Good to see that at long last Canada is waking up to the dangers of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The case of Martial Arts student Sonja Power being made to feel like a second-class citizen while our Canadian govt. hides its head in the sand

How low can our politicians go?  Is the Muslim vote that important to them?

The Canadian Muslim population growth has grown to that certain level where they begin to demand that their disgusting culture be adopted by the West.  And, what do our leaders do?  They all hide their damn heads deep into the sand and tell themselves that the next generation of the present day Muslim immigrants will integrate.

Who suffers with the onset of gender segregation brought into the country by Muslim immigrants with help from the Canadian govt?  The people who have been betrayed by their government.

More here.

What's the motive behind the Canadian Government offloading billions of taxpayers' money to Muslim nations known to kill and persecute Christians?

The obvious answer must be something to do with the mush that goes for brains inside the skulls of people we have elected to walk the halls of power in Ottawa.  If these politicians had even an ounce of brains, they would stop funding countries whose favorite pastime is the persecution of minorities.... namely, Christians.

Genocide of Christians is going on at full speed in so many Muslim lands and yet our blasted government has the chutzpah to continue sending our money. For what? To facilitate the process?

"Bus" Santa defeats a Grinch in Vancouver

Loved this story!   More people should stand up to the Grinches coming out of the woodwork at every Christmas.  I wish that  a few of  the bus drivers employed by the Toronto Transit Corp.had the same kind of spirit as shown by Kirk Rockwell the Vancouver bus driver.  Why don't people want to feel good and pass that feeling on to others?  I don't get it!

White Poppy poppycock

I would never pin a white poppy anywhere on any of my attire. I don't think the people behind the white poppy push are pacifists. They are just selfish, misinformed misfits.  Some wars are definitely needed and fully justified.

Joe Pennachetti, City of Toronto Mis-Manager

This buffoon said the following about the offensive jihadi mural:
We are satisfied with the responses that have been provided during our preliminary inquiries into your concerns and do not believe that the mural is contrary to City policy or Canadian law.
Bastard!!

No wonder, Italy ...  from where according to his last name this man hails from or his ancestors did ...  has many of their church compounds and grounds allocated to Muslims for their prayer times.  With this mis-manager in charge of the City of Toronto,  you can well expect the same to happen here too.

The idiot has not heard about Taqqiyah and the might of Muslim Oscar winning performances in same.  Either that or he is not fit to be the manager of the City of Toronto.   The mural is an insult to Torontonians and it has to be flushed away.

Sun News' Brian Lilley gets owned by an ideal Canadian-Muslim

Live and learn!
Get with the program, Sun News network !   Just because the idea to ban religious symbols in public-funded entities has stemmed from the Left does not mean you guys have to keep harping on how bad the idea happens to be.  I hope the initiative from the Quebec govt. gets passed into law.

Watch what your kids watch

Brain Lilley is the guy I agree with the most.  A sane, normal and proper thinking family man.  I think of the Byline show on SunNew Network as being hosted by Batman (Brian Lilley) and during his absences by Robin (Anthony Furey).  I try not to miss the 9 PM shows.  The normal people's voice .... that how I think of these two guys.

Here's something from Brian Lilley's blog  below that your kids should watch.
.... Ashton Kutcher tells kids   that opportunity looks like hard work.  I have to say, this impressed me.

Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher won an award at the Teen Choice Awards urging kids to work hard and that no job is beneath them.

“I believe that opportunity looks a lot like hard work,” Kutcher told the audience. “When I was 13, I had my first job with my dad carrying shingles up to the roof, and then I got a job washing dishes at a restaurant, and then I got a job in a grocery store deli, and then I got a job at a factory sweeping Cheerio dust off the ground.”

“And I’ve never had a job in my life that I was better than. I was always just lucky to have a job. And every job I had was a stepping stone to my next job, and I never quit my job until I had my next job. And so opportunities look a lot like work.”..........

Set free our Canadian Beer ...

and also our other happy makers.  Brian Lilley makes a good case. We need to fight to get  Canadian authorities to look down south at the pricing  of the same products in the USA and bring about a happy change to the price structure of our own happy makers.

Genocide of Christians on Planet Earth

Raymond Ibrahim is a stalwart in chronicling the persecution and genocide of Christians all over the world. The vids below has him talking to Glenn Beck, Brian Lilley and CBN.  Worth your time to go through his listing, which he does on a monthly basis and checking for yourselves if I am amiss in labelling  as "genocide" the killing of Christians worldwide.

...One of the few positive developments . following the rise of the Islamists during the "Arab Spring" is that today many average and/or nominal Muslims are seeing the true face of Islam and its teachings. And many—as evinced by the June 30 Revolution of Egypt, which saw the ousting of the Muslim Brotherhood—don't want to deal with it.

For example, during a recent episode of "With Dr. Islam Buhira" on Al Qahira Wa Al Nass TV station, Buhira explained how he had attended "a conference in Morocco on the status of women in society post Arab Spring," and how at the conference, the following interpretation of the Koran by renowned Islamic exegete, al-Qurtubi (d.1273), was read: "Women are like cows, horses, and camels, for all are ridden."

After quoting al-Qurtubi's words, Dr. Buhira continued, in a disappointed tone: "This is how al-Qurtubi speaks about women, who include his mother, his daughters—basically all Muslim women. He says they are 'all ridden.' This is what makes them similar to animals."

Hard to believe or not, the idea that "Women are like cows, horses, and camels, for all are ridden," is in fact recorded in Tafsir al-Qurtubi (see vol. 17, p. 172), one of the Islamic world's most authoritative exegeses, or commentary on the teachings of the Koran.

In fact, comparing women to beasts is not uncommon in Islam and traces back to Prophet Muhammad himself, who is recorded saying, "Women, dogs, and donkeys annul a man's prayer" (Musnad Ibn Hanbal, vol. 2, p. 2992).

I first translated and discussed these texts likening women to animals in 2008, in the context of how female concubines in Islam are not deemed human, as the Arabic relative pronoun used in the Koran to indicate captive sex-slaves is "it"—as in an animal—not "she" (e.g., Koran 4:3).

Even so, many Muslims, including women, are only now learning about these texts and teachings. The fact is many Muslims really don't know much about Islam beyond the Five Pillars. But they have been conditioned to believe that, whatever Sharia says must be laudable and judicious—Sharia being the law of their god as delivered by their beloved prophet. Moreover, in the last couple decades the slogan "Islam is the solution" became popular as a panacea to all of society's ill.

That is, until it went from being theory to reality.

Put differently, now that the Arab Spring has brought Islamists to power—in Tunisia, in Egypt, in Libya, and currently trying (at the tip of the jihadi sword) in Syria—nominal and nonobservant "cultural" Muslims, and they are not a few, who for decades were ruled by Westernized autocrats and media, are finally seeing the true face of Islam and its teachings, in all their minutia, up close and personal. This new acquaintance with the truth is setting some of them free—even as it further enslaves those who like what they see.........

The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia  has again declared that it is 'necessary to destroy all the churches in the region.

Before Egypt's President Muhammad Morsi was ousted, April was one of the worst months for Christian Copts there. On April 5 near Cairo, when a longstanding feud between a Christian family and a Muslim family—based on male Muslims sexually harassing Christian girls—culminated in the violent deaths of six Christians, including two of the participants, a Christian and a Muslim, being set on fire, and local Muslims went on another "collective punishment" spree. It resulted in the injury of at least 20 other Copts, an Evangelical church being set on fire, and an attack on a Coptic church, Two days later, after Copts had mourned their dead in the St. Mark Cathedral—Coptic Christianity's holiest site and home to the Coptic pope—Muslim mobs, who had waited outside, launched yet another attack—aided by state security forces. Eyewitnesses said as many as 40-50 tear gas canisters targeted the mourners, many of whom were women and children hiding in the cathedral. Two more Copts were killed and many dozens wounded as other officers stood by while the Muslim mob tried to destroy the cathedral.

On one Friday after prayers, the Bilal Ibn Rabah Mosque in Cairo was turned into a "torture chamber" for Egyptians, many of whom were Christians, protesting the Muslim Brotherhood. One of the victims, Amir Ayad, a Christian, said he was severely beaten before being left for dead at the side of the road. He suffered a fractured skull, a broken arm, bleeding in his right eye and pellet wounds. Coptic Christian children, mostly boys, were targeted for kidnapping and held for ransom; one 6-year-old, after his family had paid the Muslim kidnapper, was killed. And a video appeared on Arabic-language websites showing a crowd of Muslims in Egypt assaulting and raping two Christian women on a crowded street and in broad daylight. Throughout, the women scream in terror as the men shout Islamic slogans such as "Allahu Akbar!" "["Allah is Greater!"] None of the many passersby intervenes in any way........

Canada's Finance Minister in stealth plot to commit Cyprus-like seizure of our money IF.....

a Cyprus-like scenario would happen here too.  Saving big banks who give away credit cards like confetti and beg even kids just out of their teens to start borrowing without giving two hoots about how  they will make good on loans, is more important to Jim Flaherty and his boss Stephen Harper, than the stupid citizens who have voted them to power.

Yup .... your Conservative govt. in action, stealth action .... against YOU !!!

Brian Lilley writing at his blog:
.....I started asking on Monday, and again on Tuesday, whether the confiscation of money from private bank accounts could happen in Canada the way it has happened in Cyprus. My argument was that yes it could, especially given that Cyprus is a modern European nation and that the decision to dip into accounts was made by finance ministers and officials from countries such as Germany, France and Italy.

This was not a Robert Mugabe theft of cash. If it can happen there then it can happen here.

Little did I know that the answer was already in the budget on page 145 (155 of the PDF) ...................

.....“Bail-in” is exactly how Eurozone officials described what happened in Cyprus (details here and here). In order for the country to get the bail-out from the EU, the banks needed to get a bail-in from their depositors. At first this meant every depositor and then just those with deposits over €100,000.
I asked officials from Finance Minister Jim Flaherty’s for comment on what this section means to them, here is the response from Flaherty’s Director of Communications Dan Miles.
“Bail-in arrangements are NOT ‘bail-out’ arrangements∙
Under a ‘bail-out’ arrangements, taxpayers money has to be used to save a failing financial institution∙
Under a ‘bail-in’ arrangements, a failing financial institution has to tap into their own special reserves or assets (which they have been forced to put aside) to keep their operations going∙
This keeps the financial institution in tract, without risking taxpayer money. This is what Canada is doing, in line with recent international agreements.”
No denial in there that depositors will be asked to pay up if Canadian banks fail. Some think that is a probability that will never happen but obviously the Finance Department thinks it could happen or it would not devise rules. The Big Six Banks were also recently told to ................

Why, why are we still members of the Useless Nations?

What a comedy central this organization has become.  The sooner Canada gets out of the UN, the sooner we will recover from the contagious lunacy sticking to some of our citizens who have been behaving as stupidly as the loons within the UN walls.

We should go to a referendum on this issue.  I am sure the majority of Canadians will want Canada to leave the UN pronto.

"Holier than thou" attitude of Joe Warmington

Yup ... lots of loser Conservatives like Joe Warmington in every nook and corner  and therein lie the trouble with us Conservatives.  We just don't know how to fight the Left.  We are great at criticizing and pulling down people from our own camp and burying them deeper, even deeper than the Left would in many a case.   We thrive in showing how very fair-minded we are and how very truthful and honest we are, how snow white and pure our conscience is, how sinless and honest we are ....  and when someone from our camp goes a bit awry we have to bury the bloody sinner, the horrid crook the criminal of criminals.

Quotable quotes from the wonderful world of free speechers ... Part Thirteen

Brian    Lilley,  Canadian Journalist, Author and TV host

"The United Nations is lecturing Canada again by throwing stones while standing naked in their living room."

"Doctors aren’t crazy about politicians telling them how to do their jobs so politicians should be just as wary of doctors trying to do theirs. The Ontario Medical Association has come out with a list of recommendations to fight childhood obesity and it includes taxes, bans and graphic warning labels."

"Of course there are plenty of people in this country who would like us to forget our history, forget our heritage and live the same downtown uber-urban latte-sipping lifestyle that they do. But that’s not for me and chances are it’s not for you."

"I am the father of four kids. They all eat healthy and making sure they do is the responsibility of myself and their mother. I do not need the nanny state to watch what they eat, restrict what they can buy and levy unaffordable taxes on what should be treats."

"The world is being turned upside down and our public servants now think we work for them and are keen to take orders."

"When did government get big enough to tell churches and families what moral lessons they could teach? Canadians need to become more skeptical of government and push back against this encroachment in our lives. We need to reassert that we are a free people, that they work for us and not the other way around."

"Radical animal activists aren’t happy to live and let live — they want to push their view of the world on everyone else."

"We need to continue having frank and open discussions about immigration even if it makes the people at the top uncomfortable."

"The problem is not all countries consider honour killings murder. Some countries effectively allow this practice, either by calling them accidents or suicides, or by not spending much time or energy prosecuting the perpetrators or giving them laughably mild sentences when they do bother to prosecute them."

"The Liberals are big on values these days as they try to rebuild but what those values say about them is a bit puzzling. They appear to favour choice when it comes to abortion and killing unborn children but oppose choice for farmers that want to sell their wheat to the customer of their choosing."

"...when government has grown to the point of providing for every want and need of the citizenry, you have to ask whether the people are still free or are they subjects."

Islam: The Untold Story

Allahu Akbars are raging at  historian Tom Holland  and his  documentary which aired a few days ago in the UK.  What else is new, eh?!  Very interesting comments at the link below.

Ed West writing at TheTelegraph
....Last night’s Islam: The Untold Story will have made uncomfortable viewing for some people. It certainly seemed to be for one of the featured experts, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, an Iranian Islamic philosopher who had the look of a man whose faith is facing the rising tide of scepticism and godlessness. It is one Christians from the past century and a half, from the early days of higher criticism to the recent plummet in religious attendance, will recognise well.
In this atmospheric and intelligent documentary Tom Holland, whose recently published In The Shadow of the Sword took the burgeoning study of early Islam to a popular audience, looked at the early history of the religion and sought to explain what evidence we have for the traditional history, as viewed by the faithful.

“The evidence is almost nonexistent,” he says. “When you start looking, everything is up for grabs.”
The peoples of antiquity, whether Persians, Greeks, Egyptians or Romans, saw the Arabs as a backwards, obscure people from the desert. As for their religion, they worshipped a number of deities, including cubes, although there were Christian and Jewish communities scattered along the Arabian Peninsula.
But in the seventh century these “despised” people rode out of the desert and embarked on a series of conquests that would soon have them running an empire that stretched from central Asia to the Loire Valley.
And yet the strangest thing about this period, known by posterity as “the Muslim conquest”, is that there is little evidence that they were Muslims at all. When the Arabs arrived in Jerusalem in 636 under Caliph Umar Ibn Al Khattab none of the chroniclers of the period have anything to say about what religion the new conquerors were.

Palestine had been under the control of the Byzantines, who had expanded the number of churches and encouraged Christian settlers, leading to much friction with the Jews. The new masters, who had just smashed a Byzantine army five times as large, seemed to look at Jewish sites with reverence, which led some Jews to see them as saviours and many Christians to feel paranoid about a Jewish reconquest.
And yet no one describes them as “Muslim”; nor does the Arab ruler of Jerusalem mention the Prophet Mohammed anywhere.

Most puzzling of all is the fact that Mecca, birthplace of Mohammed and holiest place in Islam, is not mentioned until a century after the Prophet’s death, and appears just once in the Koran – otherwise the book mentions "Bakkah", which in Muslim tradition is another name of Mecca. Yet as Holland points out in the book, the Koranic Mecca, a place where Christians and Jews lived, does not seem to fit with the distant Arabian town of that period. From a historian’s point of view the description of the city given in the Koran far better matches various settlements in what is now Syria or Israel, the same regions that “the believers”, as the Arabs were first called, were settled in when the Koran first started to be written. So it's possible that Bakkah was located around there. Holland even visits the site of the first known mosque, which faces not towards Mecca but east.

The implication is clear – that what came to be called Islam developed much later than the Prophet Mohammed’s life, and by Arab leaders in more northerly lands who now found themselves in control of a huge, diverse empire filled with Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians........

Dear God ... Thank You for Anthony Furey of SUN TV

We shouldn't be glorifying hyphenated Canadians who return to the land of their lineage to fight in foreign conflicts.

Toronto resident Thwaiba Kanafani posted a YouTube video on July 7 announcing her intentions to join the Syrian rebel forces. The 41-year-old is a trained engineer and mother of two kids who were born in Canada. She was born in Damascus and moved to Canada in 2002. She said she could no longer sit idly by and watch people be murdered. She's now joined the Syrian Free Army to fight against President Assad.

I don't know her personally at all, but am willing to assume she's a great mother, great employee, pays her taxes, follows the law. Fine. And I'm definitely not a fan of President Assad. After all the horrible things he's done, he's now making threats about weapons of mass destruction and chemical warfare. But Assad's wrongs aside, I think we should ask some questions about what Kanafani is doing.....

Connie Fournier of Free Dominion and the good fight to win back and retain ...

a human being's  fundamental right of  the Freedom of Speech  in Canada.

This is the Fourniers' website where, because of comments  made by visitors to the open forum, which were perceived as "racist"  the Fourniers were dragged into the Canadian Human Rights gulag where they fought bravely and teniously  in a landmark  fight for freedom of speech and won against one oppressor.  However, the Dark Side is not done with them and the endeavor to crush this family is an ongoing onslaught.

To know more about what happened to the Fourniers and their legal battles go here.

Here's what Brian Lilley of SUN TV said: If you support free speech then I ask you to support the cause of the folks over at Freedominion.com

Mark and Connie Fournier have been at the front lines of the fight for freedom of speech on the internet in Canada. They and their readers backed Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant while at the same time fighting their own court battles.

You may never have heard of them or their site. You may not like Freedominion. But if you value free speech then I am asking you to give to them.........

Here are three choices by which you  can donate to  help the Fourniers in their battle with the Dark Side and at the same time know you have done something, however little or not it might be, to make your own imprint in safeguarding and fighting for our fundamental God-given rights.

1)  The Jewish Defence League  has  organized a fundraiser to be held on Monday July 9 from 7-9 pm at 788 Marlee Avenue, Toronto,  which you can attend and make a donation of your choosing.  Call  416-736-7000  for details.
2)   Go here to contribute online.
3) You can also use the snail mail to send a cheque or money order to the Fourniers at:

SUN TV's Brian Lilley and Charles Adler discuss the lunacy emitting from the United Nations

The  lunatics from the United Nations have declared  war on Canada.   We are more than ready to take  on the looniest of loonies .... found in plenty at only the UN.   Come on, come on  .... we are itching to take you on.  You haven't seen nothing yet.
