"V" might improve CTV's ratings
Caught the season premiere of "V" tonight. It has some similarities to the present political situation in the USA. Maybe it's just my imagination but the first episode comes across as a conservative kind of thing. We will see. Too early to tell.

Notice the striking similarities between the visitors and the Official Opposition? They're both like reptiles that occasionally act human.
ReplyDeleteYou should rent the original series done in 1983/84; classic sci-fi and it explains the libertarian overtones of tonight's series (I own the originals and saw the remake tonight too!). As far as I can tell from tonight's pilot, they did a good job at modernizing the original series in theme and style, although I miss the original vistor symbol, which was a cleverly inserted hint of where things were going during the 80s series.
