Not paid for almost 2 years. A footballer in Qatar now has no alternative but to go on a hunger strike hoping his plight will be known to others. Qatar had the money to bribe the world football federation to get them to choose that hellhole for the world cup but to pay the rightful wages of individual footballers ... that's quite another matter. What a disgusting regime. To think Canada considers this country to be our ally is truly nauseating.

Footballer held as slave in Qatar
Not paid for almost 2 years. A footballer in Qatar now has no alternative but to go on a hunger strike hoping his plight will be known to others. Qatar had the money to bribe the world football federation to get them to choose that hellhole for the world cup but to pay the rightful wages of individual footballers ... that's quite another matter.
