We have lotta money for wars abroad but none for battles within our own country

Here's a chart showing who contributed what in the unjustified war in Libya.

Isn't it strange that our Canadian govt. would spend so much money outside Canada and yet there are millions of Canadians unemployed and on the poverty line right here who could have been helped to get on their feet ? Only a wise government would have first tried to win the battles on the home front, battles against unemployment, poverty, rising prices on food items, rising taxes, etc. that plague Canada, instead of blaming everything on world economy.  NATO members have lots of money to enable them to kill people in other countries.
