Bowe Bergdahl the deserter, responsible for the freedom of five terrorists from American custody and the deaths of his fellow soldiers

I hate wars and warfare.... but if you have signed up to go fight on your country's behalf, although you might  know the call is wrong... but remember you have been taking all the goodies the government has been giving you viz your salary, benefits,etc.etc .... then  there's nothing you can do but stay put in the arena.  Get yourself killed if you don't want to kill ... but stay put.
From what Bill O'Reilly infers about the deserter's mental health, one has to wonder if the US military doctors conduct regular check-ups to determine whether a soldier is mentally fit for active combat. Isn't that a requirement before these young people are pushed into mayhem?
