And, in other happenings besides the World Cup

SYRIA: Jihadis in Syria now using Humvees imported from Iraq.
From NaharNetLebanon:
...Jihadists fighting in Syria's war  put to use for the first time on Sunday American-made Humvees that they seized during a lightening offensive in Iraq this month, a monitor said.
The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL, used the armored vehicles to capture the villages of Eksar and Maalal in Aleppo province, which borders Turkey, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
It came after heavy fighting against the Islamic Front and its al-Qaida-affiliated ally, the al-Nusra Front, said the Observatory, a Britain-based group that gets its information from a network of sources on the ground.
The two villages are located near the town of Azaz, which ISIL militiamen abandoned at the end of February under attack from rebels fighting to oust Syria's President Bashar Assad........

IRAQ:  ISIS takes over another town.
The pro-Saudi Arabia wahhabi cavemen army is proving to be too much for the US-trained Iraqi military.  Will Jordan also be invaded by the cavemen?  One of the towns taken over is on Jordan's border.  Unbelievable that the Iraqi airforce is so handicapped that they can't defeat the wahhabis.  Many people, including myself, tend to underestimate these jihadis. So far, I have not seen anything or anyone telling us what sort of a number we are looking at.  Are the jihadis in their hundreds or in their thousands?  What really is going on there?  Is this a part of something bigger and more sinister?

NIGERIA:  Boko Haram continues to make proud those supplying it with plenty of petro dollars to shed non-wahhabi blood.
From BBC:
... Dozens of villagers are feared dead after attacks by suspected Boko Haram Islamist militants in Nigeria's northeastern Borno state.
The raids on Saturday morning were close to Chibok, from where more than 200 schoolgirls were abducted in April.
Villagers said Boko Haram fighters spent six hours on a shooting spree, chasing fleeing residents into the bush and torching homes........

LIBYA:  New general comes to a shocking realization ... Qatar and Turkey are also Libya's enemies
From Reuters:
....Renegade general urges Turks, Qataris    to leave east Libya.
A Libyan renegade general has called on all Turks and Qataris to leave volatile eastern Libya, accusing the two countries of supporting "terrorism", his spokesman said on Sunday.
Retired General Khalifa Haftar has declared war on Islamist militants in eastern Libya, part of growing turmoil in the oil producer where the government is unable to control armed groups which helped oust Muammar Gaddafi in 2011 but now defy state authority......

AFGHANISTAN: Taliban will never give up killing. You can take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
From GulfNews:
....Taliban militants fired eight rockets  into a Nato airbase at one of Afghanistan’s main airports on Saturday evening, provincial authorities said.
While there were no casualties or damage to buildings at the base at Jalalabad airport, the attack comes just two weeks after militants attacked Pakistan’s Karachi airport, killing dozens.....
