Ontario: The tax hell of Canada.... courtesy of Dalton McGuinty

Thank you very much Oh Socialist One. The people you send those brown envelops to can rest assured that they will get their weekly or bi-weekly cheques from the Ontario govt come rain or shine or tornado or tsunami or even the wrath of God himself. What about people like me who have been unemployed for endless months and are living on our hard earned savings and the only solace we have is owning a bit of this earth by way of a house?  McGuinty's totally useless programs tailored for his cronies and his voters have sucked this city dryer than the Sahara desert.

People like yours truly have tightened our purse strings in order to get through this recession and what does the mighty McGuinty, the Union supporter and hater of those who are not sucking at his breast do ... he budgets an increase in property taxes by 4%. How very cool and lovely is that !!! He punishes the people who fills his coffers and rewards those who are perpetually on govt handouts. Maybe McGuinty thinks that the middle-class if they own a house, they are wealthy enough to be sucked dry. Wrong, wrong, wrong and more wrong.
I know of people who have paid off the mortgages on their homes but are now living like mice in this unforgiving city of Toronto because they are unable to live otherwise as they are taxed every way they turn. Owning a house does not a rich person make.

Those on the govt. handouts are living it up in rentals without a care in the world ... their pay pal McGunity will make sure that they are all OK.... yes sirreee! Damn the house owners....shaft them royally each and every year. Both McGuinty and his TTC pal, the one who makes like a rabbit and whose employees are paid upwards of $30/hr to sleep at their jobs ... screws the people of this Province without mercy. All we can do is whine and vent but it comes to nothing. McGuinty and his mafia thugs control this city and they wring out the last drop from the taxpayers to fund their programs for their potential voters. That's the bottom line.  This city under McGuinty is now in competition with the corruptness of Chicago.

  1. Some people saw this coming and had the good sense to get out of Dodge right at the beginning of the Dalton McGuinty Experience...

  2. Why didn't you put in a claim for EI? You do contribute to it with every pay checque? Or is it that you did have and you ran out of weeks entitled?

If you never made a claim and you're eligible; shouldn't you claim it? You have nothing to prove to anyone by not claiming things like EI. NOt like your blogging tory buddies are going to help you.

  3. CK - my EI ran out long ago. It's not that I wanted to claim anything more than the employment ins. It just gets on my nerves that it is so darn hard to live in this city under McGuinty.
Every single year the property taxes are increased, every single year the TTC fares are increased, every single year McGuinty just keeps taxing and then introducing the most silliest programs which would be such a laugh on Monty Phyton but the taxpayers here find nothing funny aboout it.
