are saying there was "no major crackdown" in Bahrain.
....The level of denial about Bahrain, which is the kingdom’s key concern in the region, was startling. One delegate said there was “no major crackdown” in Bahrain, despite the fact that the security forces opened fire in Manama’s Pearl Roundabout, You-Tube footage can be seen of protestors being shot at point blank range, the main opposition newspaper has just been shut down amid the emergency rule imposed a month ago. Not forgetting that Gulf Co-operation Council forces agreed to a cry for help from Bahrain’s royal family, resulting in the Saudi-led intervention of 1,000 troops.....

Liberal leader's wife might not be able to vote for her lovey-dovey?
Awww... so sad eh?
So, let's do the math here.
He got married in 1999.
Let's say she got her landed immigration status in 2004 (that's giving her 4+ years to get it... I am giving her a very conservative time frame to put in her papers).
Landed immigrants can apply for citizenship within 3 years and are accepted as citizens within a few short months to a year.
Conclusion: She does not care enough for Canada, just like her husband... otherwise she would have applied for and got her citizenship long, long, long, time ago.
Husband is a Canadian of convenience and now it looks like, so also is his wife.
Bad news for Liberal voters. This latest news paints a very negative picture of the kind of person you have as your leader. With this you can expect your poll numbers to slip into NDP territory.
The Liberal party of Canada is getting to be as insignificant as the socialistic one.

When someone gives you a check
Nobody can say it better than Thomas Sowell.
When someone gives you a check and the bank informs you that there are insufficient funds, who do you get mad at? In your own life, you get mad at the guy who gave you a check that bounced, not at the bank. But, in politics, you get mad at whoever tells you that there is no money.
One of the secrets of the growth of the welfare state is that politicians get a lot of mileage out of making promises, without setting aside enough money to fulfill those promises.
When Congress votes for all sorts of benefits, without voting for enough taxes to pay for them, they get the support of those who have been promised the benefits, without getting grief from the taxpayers. It's strictly win-win as far as the welfare-state politicians are concerned. But it is strictly lose-lose, big-time, for the country, as deficits skyrocket............

In other news besides the unwanted election in Canada
1) Shooter kills students and teachers in an elementary schools in Brazil. Some reports seem to suggest that he was a convert to islam as his sister is reported to have said that in the past few months he had become preoccupied with the koran. ....Ramos said she escaped by running into a classroom, where a teacher then locked the door and barricaded it with tables.
Police were alerted to the shooting when two young boys, at least one with a gunshot wound, ran up to two officers on patrol about two blocks away. The officers sprinted to the school and at least one quickly located the gunman on the second floor and traded shots with him. "He saw me and aimed a gun at me," said officer Marcio Alves. "I shot him in the legs, he fell down the stairs and then shot himself in the head." Rio Mayor Eduardo Paes said life at the four-story, pastel yellow and green school was turned into a "hellish nightmare."
"This day would have been so much worse if it weren't for the hero policeman," Paes told reporters at the school.....
2) Oh ...lookee here! Another story about another "upstanding citizen of the UAE" ... you know the country whose airlines wanted that extra space at our airports and the country that Iggy, Rae and the entire Liberal party and the NDP were panting hot for a few months ago. Remember this and this. Liberals will partner even with the devil himself if it would give them the power they crave so much. No morals, no integrity, no nothing... that's the Liberal party.
3) The company you keep, defines you. Obama's pal arrested in prostitution sting.
4) Al Qaeda takes advantage of the Yemen situation to take over a southern town in Yemen. In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Dr Abu Bakr al-Qirbi confirmed a major town near the vital southern port of Aden had fallen to al-Qaeda-backed rebel forces, and said the group was expanding its wider operations as the government was destabilised by clashes with protesters. His warning came as American intelligence agencies said they believed Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), as the terrorist group's Yemen-based franchise calls itself, was planning a new terrorist assault on the West.

5) Human Rights Watch released a report Wednesday detailing the abuse of journalists in the West Bank and Gaza at the hands of the Palestinian Authority.
The report, “No News is Good News: Abuses Against Journalists by Palestinian Security Forces,” accuses Palestinian Authority security forces of censoring, harassing and torturing reporters, resulting in a severe restriction of free speech.
Documenting seven instances of journalist detention and abuse, Human Rights Watch concludes that the effect has not only been active censorship but also a “chilling effect” of self-censorship by journalists in the area. .... h/t: Irene

"The ideal of all Kosovo is membership in the EU and a permanent friendship with the United States.I believe and I am convinced our dreams will come true," she said in her first speech to the parliament.

That delicious mystery of the Birth Certificate ....
which most of you pretend not to be interested in. I have no such qualms....none whatsoever. This mystery bugs me and it should bug anyone with the minimum amount of curiousity. Or is lack of curiousity another form of "political correctness" which we all know is fake and false 99.9% of the time. And while I am at it .... what about the fake outrage at the Florida pastor burning the koran? I wish there were a 1000 more like him. He sounds much more sane and analytical than do most of the geeks at Microsoft, IBM and Apple. That fuzzy knowledge that gives us the internet age and what-have-you is a matter of genius .... but the reason why the Florida pastor burned the koran is criminally insane, eh?
Okay ...back to the Birth Certificate. The big question about it and about the blanks in the life of the moslem president of the USA will not ever go away. This guy will be impeached sooner than later. Has a prez ever been imprisoned? He is going to be known as the first prez to have been many things the others were not, and to have many first things happen to him that never happened to the others before him. If boneless Boehner was made of sterner stuff, the impeachment papers would have been already drafted and kept in readiness.
Kudos to Donald Trump for really going at the BC issue with renewed zeal and stamina. Of course, he is getting a lot of air time too .... and loving every minute of it.
DONALD TRUMP: I am saying I want to see the birth certificate. It's very simple. I want to see the birth certificate. How come his own family doesn't know which hospital he was born in? How come-- forget about birth certificates. Let's say there's no birth certificate. How come in the hospital itself, okay? DONALD TRUMP: Well, I have people that actually have been studying it and they cannot believe what they're talking.
MEREDITH VIEIRA: You have people now out there searching-- I mean, in Hawaii?
DONALD TRUMP: Absolutely. And they cannot believe what they're finding.

In other news besides the unwanted election in Canada
1) This is the madness of the country that Bob Rae, Iggy and the entire Liberal clan were so hot for a little while ago. Remember how they were so upset because PM Harper declined to go with the deal that the UAE wanted done so their airlines could roam more freely over our skies and shoot our own Air Canada to smithereens? This is the exact kind of madness that the Liberal party are happy to be partners with any given day.
A 14-year-old Arab schoolgirl has been detained for two weeks on an adultery charge and forced to undergo a virginity test in the United Arab Emirates, a newspaper reports.
Gulf News reported police in the conservative emirate of Ajman had arrested the teenager after she met her boyfriend on the roof of her family home. She had since been forced to undergo a gynaecological examination which "confirmed she was still a virgin", the unnamed girl's father was quoted by the English-language daily as saying.
"The police have ruined the future of my daughter as she missed the school exam. She has been in police custody since March 22," the father said, adding that bail had been refused and the girl was being held with adult women. The paper said the man involved in the case, in his mid-20s, was later arrested in a neighbouring emirate. via: Religion of Peace
2) Daily Split ... Liberals reduced to vote buying ..... how sad is that !!!
3) Kosovo ... it's easy to understand NATO's fiasco there a bit better when you acknowledge the fact that the people within the UN are gullible and not as smart as we expect them to be. The UN and USA's history of backing the wrong side goes back many, many years. The graduates from the Univesity of Taqiyyah take them for a ride every time. They took them into Iraq instead of Saudi Arabia, they made them kill Christians in the Balkans while the taqiyyah masters were the real culprits and the list goes on and on and on. For all their might and power, the Americans are pretty naive when it comes to oscar winning actors like the lying moslems.
Why did I think of Kosovo while the Middle East is burning? Two words. Ivory Coast. UN is sealing the fate of Christians in Ivory Coast just like it did in the Balkans. The UN is against Christianity and Judaism and the sooner we come to grips with that fact, the better will be our defences.

4) Coptic Christians persecuted in Egypt. .....Hussein was accused of terrorizing the Copts, raping their wives, kidnapping their children for ransom and extortion. Attorney elNaggar said that I f proven these charges are punishable by the death penalty.
Security forces were informed last January of the incidents in both villages, "but they just turned a blind eye," said Coptic activist Nader Shoukry, who publicized the story last week after registering all crimes against the Coptic villagers

Some months ago Brian Lilley of the Toronto Sun listed a number of incidents committed by moslems against Christians (of course... that list has grown by several more items by now) after the Florida pastor was stopped from burning the koran.... but those incidents are worth noting.

In Toronto, we believe in "people power" that's how we got Mayor Rob Ford elected ....
and that's how we will throw out the Liberals from this Province .... so far, far, far away .... it will take them a hundred years or more to crawl back into this city and into this Province to do it any more damage.
....The good news is that the world has changed beyond our boundaries as well. New tools are available to assist government partnerships with the private sector. Other municipalities are willing to share their experiences in service delivery. And the public says that it is willing to give other options a try, including the reduction of services.
These are big ideas, and form the main theme of this administration. How well it works in our lives depends not only on the single mindedness of the mayor - of that we can be certain - but also his skill in establishing new models, and willingness of residents to adapt to change. ...

More than 1000 Christians killed in just one town of Ivory Coast ....
some reports are claiming that the moslem Alassane Ouattara's supporters, whom the UN and the world has declared to be the "rightful' winner of the election... are killing and hacking Christians who are the supporters of Lawrence Gbagbo. Gbagbo claims that the election was rigged and that Ouattara brought in thousands of voters from the neighbouring countries who claimed to be residents of Ivory Coast, got their votes in and that's how Ouattara won the election by fraud. I had written on the Ivory Coast issue a couple of times late last year.
From WashingtonPost: ....Spokesman Patrick Nicholson of the Roman Catholic charity Caritas said workers visited Duekoue on Wednesday and found hundreds of bodies of civilians killed by bullets from small-arms fire and hacked to death with machetes.
He said they estimated that more than 1,000 civilians were killed.
The International Federation of the Red Cross put the death toll at Duekoue at about 800, in separate and independent visits Thursday and Friday.
Nicholson, the Caritas spokesman, said the killings occurred over three days in a neighborhood controlled by fighters loyal to internationally recognized President Alassane Ouattara, though it was not clear who the perpetrators were.
“The massacre took place in the ‘Carrefour’ quarter of town, controlled by pro-Ouattara forces, during clashes on Sunday 27 March to Tuesday 29 March,” Nicholson said. “Caritas does not know who was responsible for the killing, but says a proper investigation must take place to establish the truth.”
Caritas’ investigation would indicate that people were killed at close quarters in a small neighborhood of a town of just 50,000 people as pro-Ouattara fighters began a two-pronged assault that brought them swiftly to Abidjan, the commercial capital and seat of power, within days...................
Today, the French and UN "Peacekeepers" LOL .... bombed Gbagbo's mansion.
How quickly everybody wants to kill a Christian miscreant eh?!!!
Decades and decades go by with moslem dictators killing people in the tens of thousands and they still remain gloriously in power. Ivory Coast .... if only they had the good fortune to find some oil on those shores!
And our great Globe&Mail reports that : .... Guillaume Ngeta, joint chief for human rights of the UN mission, also on Saturday night blamed the killings of about 100 more civilians there on fighters loyal to Laurent Gbagbo, Ivory Coast's leader since 2000 who refuses to accept his defeat in November elections......
Now, for the life of me.... I cannot see how 1000 people hacked or shot to death, mostly Christian folks in a town that was controlled by pro-Ouattara moslem killers, was overwhelmed by Lawrence Gbagbo's supporters who are mainly Christian and hacked other Christians to death. Do you? Trust our beloved newspaper The Globe&Mail to go hunting for a piece of news that would throw a malicious hue on the non-muslim guy .... no matter where and what color he might be. Moslems are the protected species.... always remember that !!!
As for our other beloved paper The National Post ... they have carefully avoided telling us about the massacre of Christians. You see folks, Christians are far too many.... and can be stomped underfoot like roaches.... don't you know? It's the moslems and especially the sweet Palestinians that our news media must safeguard and make kissy-kissy with ... not Christians.... no sirreee !!!!

Am I clairvoyant? No... just blessed with an abundance of common sense and a big dose of natural deduction capabilities. Al Qaeda operatives are in Brazil planning attacks, raising money and recruiting followers, a leading news magazine reported Saturday, renewing concerns about the nation serving as a hide-out for Islamic militants.

5) UN and NATO have shamed themselves. I agree with Diana Johnstone here, although she is a leftist... and it pains me to agree with that species, even on a miniscule basis. Libya's problems are Libya's problems, their civil war is theirs alone or if not theirs, then let the nutty nations surrounding the madman take care of him. NATO and UN had their own motives.... all those motives came from Saudi Arabia.... the real masters of the UN. For whatever reason, a reason which is not apparent to us at this present time, it must have been Saudi Arabia that manipulated the UN and NATO to take action in Libya.

The store employee was suspicious of the request and recognized the male from a similar previous incident. The employee contacted police and uniform officers from # 1 District Uniform Patrol attended the local business. Further investigation by # 1 District uniform officers revealed that the male had nine allegedly fraudulent credit cards and two allegedly fraudulent Ontario Driver's Licences. The male was arrested and charged by uniform officers at the scene

The Canadian election news .... the election that only the three stooges want because ....
they have some sort of a deadly bug in their butts. On May 2, voters are going to be generous enough to give them a powerful laxative to get rid of that malicious bug.... rumors are afloat that the bug is some new kind of species called "coalition" or something and has traces of the same kind of DNA that was found in the bug extracted from the 3 stooges a few years ago.
A coalition of utter losers and big time liars.
The Liberals are lying through their teeth as usual. Yesterday, I read a great comment from a Robert Jacques to an article at CBC that was linked by Blazing Cat Fur.
quote: (with emphasis and highlights by yours truly)
The Top Ten Liberal Red Book Broken Promises
1. Jobs, Jobs, Jobs Red book, Chapter 1 Canada currently has 1.4 million unemployed, half a million not looking for work, youth unemployment at 18%, and one in every four Canadians worried about their jobs.
2. Preserving and Protecting Universal Medicare By 1998/99 the Liberals will have cut $7 billion in social transfers to the provinces.
3. Scrap, Kill, and Abolish the GST Prime Minister Chretien and Deputy Prime Minister Sheila Copps on the campaign trail made this promise. The Liberals will have spent $931 million to bury the hated tax in Atlantic Canada.
4. Restore faith in Government Red Book, p.92 Sheila Copps, David Collenette, Jean Boyle, Michael Dupuy - 'nuff said.
5. Stable Multiyear Funding for the CBC Red Book, p.89 The Liberals cut $377 million from the CBC - a third of the public broadcaster's budget.
6. Renegotiate NAFTA Red Book p.24 Two months after taking power, Chretien signed NAFTA without any changes.
7. A Code of Conduct for Politicians Red Book, p.95 no new code and the Prime Minister uses the secret Ministerial guidelines only when convenient.
8. Appointments Based on Competence Red Book p.92 The Governor General, the Ambassadors to Isreal and Britain, the Chairman of Canada Post, and the last 19 Senators are all partisan Liberal patronage appointments.
9. More Free Votes Red Book p.92 out of more than 200 government bills in three years, the Prime minister has allowed one free vote on government legislation. The Liberal government has restricted debate on more than 20 occasions.
10. Eliminate Trade Barriers Red Book p.22

And, the above is only part of what's wrong with the Liberal party of Canada. Party of Liars and crooks extraordinaire.
Harper says a majority would mean the Conservatives would govern the same way as they have with a minority. I don't know if that is what we expect or what to make of it !! But... hey .... the truth is ... they are the only party worth voting for in Canada. h/t: BH for pic of losers

More segregation afoot in Toronto? What's with the "Africentric" stupidity?
As if it was not sickening enough, that moslems prefer living in and forming their own little enclaves, and do their best in that stealth jihad kind of way, to keep the rest of the citizens away from those areas by opening shops and malls catering more to moslems than to anybody else (if you don't believe me, go visit the East York mall and surrounding area of grocery shops and convenience stores in Thorncliffe Park and check for yourselves) .... now we learn that there is another segment of our population in Toronto ..... the "Africentric" loonies alongwith some disgusting politicians, not unlike John Tory and the Ontario Education Board's busybodies trying to do the dirty once again.
This time ... they want yet another "Africentric" High School at the Oakwood Collegiate in St.Clair Ave W. It all started with an elementary school for blacks only somewhere up north in Toronto some few years ago. What a wrong move that was and what a disaster it will all prove to be in a few years down the road.
Can you believe these numbnuts? When these "Africentric" kids graduate from their black schools .... where are they going? Are they going to some "Africentric" college or an "Africentric" university and from there to an "Africentric" workplace? In the next few years, in time for their graduation, will the idiotic liberal dumb-bells create special companies catering ONLY to "Africentric" folks ? Will these "Africentric" graduates not have to live in the world as we see it today .... multi-colored, multi-faceted and not just "Africentric"?
Man ......... some things just drive me up the wall. This is one of them.
John Tory lost a very important election because of this controversy .... and I would have thought that would have sent a clear message to all politicians and to every kind of numbnut whereever they happened to be, even with the diminished and unhinged matter sloshing around in their skulls, they would get the message from Torontonians ... loud and clear.
WE DO NOT WANT SEGREGATION OF ANY GROUP ... EVEN IF THAT GROUP IS FOOLISH ENOUGH TO BEG FOR IT.
Capice ?!!!!

Richard Goldstone is a self-hating Jewish ghoul
Is this an April Fool's prank? Can this scumball get away by saying that the "fact-finding mission" that he carried out for the UN was all made up on unfounded "truths"? Israel should sue this man, his entire department and his masters, the UN.
You know why this is coming out now, don't you. The timing is highly suspect. NATO is going to make mistake after mistake in Libya.... neverending follies will be revealed in the coming days, weeks and months ... and God forbid, maybe even years. NATO is going to kill innocent civilians, including women and children ... that's what happens in wars. It's nothing new and just as Israel made mistakes, so also will NATO in Libya, just as they keep doing in Afghanistan .... only difference is that NATO makes more mistakes than any individual country .... thousand-fold more than Israel ever did and ever will. Israel never kills on purpose .... Hamas does, all the time. The inability of the UN to see it clearly is because they are blinded with the tonnes of money that the oil-rich moslem nations throw at them and make them rabid Israel haters.
By Richard Goldstone, Friday, April 1, 8:42 PM We know a lot more today about what happened in the Gaza war of 2008-09 than we did when I chaired the fact-finding mission appointed by the U.N. Human Rights Council that produced what has come to be known as the Goldstone Report. If I had known then what I know now, the Goldstone Report would have been a different document......

Conspiracy theories make the world go round the bend .... merrily, merrily round the bend
TV broadcasters and personalities talk stuff that don't make sense to us at any given time .... but only when they stammer in broken words and sentences .... then it's a conspiracy? However, when taken in a dose of 5 minutes or more .... it's mind blowing intelligence and the Gospel truth. Right?!! Trust the Numero Uno Sensation Seeker the DailyMail UK to ask if "government microwave mind control tests are causing TV presenters' brains to meltdown?" Man-oh-man !!! And, what are the bets that people will believe this rubbish ?
A bizarre spate of television presenters dissolving into on-air gibberish has sparked claims that the U.S. military could be to blame.
In four high-profile cases, the latest involving fast-talking Judge Judy, the presenters have started off speaking properly but have then descended into undecipherable nonsense - looking confused and unstable.......

From my Lists of Things I didn't know before now.... about Toronto
For over a century-and-a-half, the northeast corner of Front and York Streets has offered tourists and dignitaries a place to lay their head. Its central location and easy access to a major transportation hub made the intersection an ideal spot for a hotel ever since the first passenger train pulled out of a nearby platform in 1853. The Fairmont Royal York carries on a tradition of hospitality with a regal moniker from its predecessor, the Queen's Hotel.
The first elements of the hotel were built in 1844 as four row houses designed by John Howard, who later bequeathed High Park to the city. After a decade housing Knox College, the homes were combined and opened for business as Sword's Hotel in August 1856. Most of the early clientele were government officials—when the colonial capital was moved to Quebec City the following year, operator Patrick Sword followed. A decade of expansions and name changes followed, with the name "Queen's Hotel" permanently assumed in 1862.

By the end of the 19th century, the hotel had gained a reputation as one of the city's most fashionable spots. Its location near the various incarnations of Union Station brought in tourists, businessmen, and politicians. Among those whose names graced the hotel's register were the Prince of Wales (King Edward VII), Sir John A. Macdonald, and Civil War figures Jefferson Davis and William Tecumseh Sherman. The Queen's offered over 210 rooms, 17 private parlours, a fine restaurant, and private gardens.
By 1927, as the current incarnation of Union Station neared completion, the Canadian Pacific Railway scouted the neighbourhood for a site suitable to build a grand hotel. The Queen's Hotel's location made it an ideal acquisition, one the CPR made that February for just over $1 million. The new owners announced that the Queen's would remain in business until the end of the Canadian National Exhibition in September. ................

Tipsters to Crime Stoppers can make good money
I received this vid from a reader in Niagara Falls. It was made by the Niagara folks for their Crime Stoppers outfit. If you have something you would like to report but would rather not divulge your identity, then Crime Stoppers is the vehicle for you. Tipsters can make up to $2000 depending on the $ value allocated to the "stopped" crime. All Police Services in Canada have a "Crime Stoppers" section on their websites.
A very important thing to remember if you want to give info to Crime Stoppers and intend to get paid by them, is never to do this.

If you want to come to grips with the complexities of the Syrian situation ...
and become even more confused about the Sunnis, Alawis and Shiites sects, read this Daniel Pipes' article written in 1987.
......Secularist policies, which call for the exclusion of Islam from public life, are bad enough; this led, for instance, to the abolition of classes about Islam in the schools. Worse was the fact that 'Alawis were the ones carrying out this policy. Many Sunnis found it intolerable when 'Alawis called Islam outdated and denigrated its practices.
A socialist order benefited 'Alawis and other poor rural peoples while hampering the Sunni merchants. The expansion of the public sector went against the capitalists and alienated the traditional urban elite. The nationalization programs of 1965 and later years destroyed the great Sunni families of Syria's cities. Their rationale was stated explicitly by an 'Alawi officer; he is reported to have explained that socialism "enables us to impoverish the townspeople and to equalize their standard of life to that of the villagers. . . . What property do we have which we could lose by nationalization? None!"........

Nice, eh?!
Am I wrong when I insist that Canada's future is totally bleak.
....More than 400 Namibians have sought refugee status in Canada over the last six months prompting suspicions an African alien smuggling ring is at work, border agents say.
Officers of the Canada Border Services Agency said as many as 10 to 15 Namibians on some nights are arriving at Pearson International Airport to file refugee claims.
The Namibians, who do not require a visa to enter Canada, are written up in a report and given dates to return for refugee hearings, which can take more than a year. During that time they’re eligible for welfare, some OHIP and dental work and subsidized housing, the officers said.
Most of the Namibians are arriving from Paris and other European cities on Air Canada, and Alitalia flights.
The claimants allege they are fleeing “traditional issues” that can include violence for being lesbian, female gender mutilation and forced marriages with older men. .....

My advise to Yohannes Damka, a tourist, turned away from Canada ....
the next time you feel like visiting Canada, just change your name to Mohammed Bin Mohammed or better still pretend to be a refugee from Sri Lanka and change your name to Prasadahanamananwhatever. Our Liberal leader Iggy and his sidekick Bob Rae, plus our NDP leader Jack Layton and maybe even our Immigration Minister Jason Kenney himself will come to the airport to receive you with open arms and plenty of hugs and kisses. I am not kidding .... just try it.
.....Damka thought that the abusive experience was behind him, and that his passport will be returned to him once they land. But the trouble was not over yet. Upon arriving in Vancouver, he was greeted by four security guards who cuffed his hands and feet and took him in for questioning.
"They caught me like a common criminal and cuffed me in front of everyone," he said. "They lead me to a tiny, empty room, and did a full-body strip search. After that, they questioned me for eight hours."
Damka noted that he demanded to speak with the Israeli consulate, but his pleas went unanswered. "No matter what I said, nothing helped," he said.
He did not reach Niagara Falls; on the next day, he was put on a plane back to Frankfurt. The Canadian authorities confiscated his passport and all other identification.
When he returned to Germany, he was cuffed once again, and escorted into a questioning room - this time on suspicion that he was a member of a terrorist organization.
"They strip-searched me again," Damka recounted the horror. "The whole time they told me that I better tell them what terrorist organization I belong to, otherwise it will get worse."
At one point, one of the investigators called out "Juden, Juden" and then made a noise of disgust. "I was furious," Damka said. "Four cops had to hold me back from hurting her."
Once again, he demanded the investigators to get in touch with the Israeli consulate, but no avail. After five hours, they brought in a translator, who decided to call Damka's boss, retrieving the phone number from the cell phone that the cops confiscated earlier.
It appeared that the conversation helped, because the investigators toned down their behavior. Eight hours later, he was allowed to board a plane back to Israel.
"I arrived without any documents, but the Interior Ministry officials told me that there must have been a mistake, and that once my passport arrives back from Canada, it will be sent back to me," Damka said. "I have yet to receive it." ..........
