Martin Singer, Dean of Arts at York University ... the dimmest of the dim

He's a perfect example of the kind of idiots found in plenty all over the North American campuses. To top it all, not only is Martin Singer dumber than dumb,  the York University's admin backed him all the way. That's the state of Administrations running our educational institutions these days.  Money from Muslim palms must be magical ... a $1000 donation to university coffers  must be multiplying faster and in more abundance than the wine at the wedding feast in Cana.

It's all well and good to be a welcoming, multicultural society that bends over backwards to respect everyone's faith and belief. But there are certain inalienable, bedrock truths that go along with living here that cannot and should not be bent to "accommodate" different value systems.

Gender equality is one of them.

And so it's shocking that a secular, publicly funded school of higher learning such as York University would insist that a professor agree to a male student's request to opt out of a group project because he doesn't want to interact with his female classmates due to religious reasons.
To his credit, sociology professor J. Paul Grayson has defied the decision by dean Martin Singer, and, with the backing of his department, told the student he must participate with women in his focus group assignment.
"We have to make a value choice," he told QMI Agency. "What's more important -- the rights of females who make up 54% of the population, or those of individuals with religious notions incompatible with egalitarianism?"............

How low can our politicians go?  Is the Muslim vote that important to them?  

The Canadian Muslim population growth has grown to that certain level where they begin to demand that their disgusting culture be adopted by the West.  And, what do our leaders do?  They all hide their damn heads deep into the sand and tell themselves that the next generation of the present day Muslim immigrants will integrate.  

Who suffers with the onset of gender segregation brought into the country by Muslim immigrants with help from the Canadian govt?  The people who have been betrayed by their government.

Plans for the new building were already in place when MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford was selected to host the Super Bowl in 2010, according to general manager Eric Richardson. The awarding of the game and the possibility of a significant bump in customers provided more momentum to the project.

"Given it's the Super Bowl, it will probably be the busiest week I've had here," Richardson said.

Signature has, in one form or another, been at Newark since the early 1960s when it was known as Newark Air Service. It also has operations at nearby Teterboro and Morristown airports, both of which figure to get a boost in business during the week leading up to the Super Bowl, as high-rollers flock to the New York metropolitan area.....

While most Brits, especially those at the public-funded BBC, are endlessly praising how Mandela put an end to apartheid in South Africa,  they shut their eyes to what's happening in their own country.  Hypocrites!!

But the distribution of chairs in our places of higher education (of all things) has made me reconsider. It would have been a good use of the licence fee, if the liberal Left in Britain had learnt anything at all from Mandela’s story. But those in charge of our universities appear to be completely deaf to what the man was trying to say.....

Because whatever the adjective in front of the noun, forcible segregation is unjust. Whether you keep blacks from whites or Jews from gentiles – or women from men – then you are tolerating apartheid. Apartheid, n: A policy or practice of separating or segregating groups.

If religious obsessives visit our campuses and request gender-based segregation then it’s not time to mince words. Such practice is alien to the British way of life, and intolerable. By extension, to let such views pass unopposed – to support them by omission – is to commit the secondary sin. Which comes first? The outrageously un-British practice? Or the liberal fools who encourage it?



“We’re just promoting tolerance of those who wish to be segregated.” My response to that is unprintable in The Daily Telegraph. If you come to my house and I ask you to remove your shoes, would you refuse to comply? Would you like to be the young woman on campus who stands up, alone in a room of bearded men, to declare her desire not to take her seat in the female-only enclosure?

It is the more disgusting that Universities UK attempted to defend its decision on the basis of equality. When segregating women, the report urges, don’t shove them to the back of the room (oh, that you were with us now, Rosa Parks). That would be discriminatory, and you could fall foul of some statute or other.

No, the trick to a smooth cordoning-off exercise lies in pretending that the second-class status you bestow on every female is actually a badge of equality. I am not making this up. The report says: “Assuming the side-by-side segregated seating arrangement is adopted, there does not appear to be any discrimination on gender grounds merely by imposing segregated seating. Both men and women are being treated equally, as they are both being segregated in the same way.”

It’s the doublethink, the weaselly “inequality-equals-equality” guff that makes you sick. Even the “Equality and Human Rights Commission” (thank God we’ve got one of those! Because none of this is the predictable outcome of the Left’s obsession with identity politics, is it?) has suggested that the advice may be illegal. They’re now “working” with Universities UK to revise the segregation guidance..........

I received this e-mail from Mark Harding. I phoned Valley Park Middle School, who in a panic directed me to call the TDSB directly @ 416-397-3000. The TDSB "Communications Dept." is so far incommunicado -they are away at a meeting.

"Islamic ritual prayers are done in my 13 year old daughter's middle school on every Friday.

Every Friday my daughter's school cafeteria changes into a mosque as dozens of Muslim boys and their imams (Islamic preachers) lead Islamic ritual prayers and no one else can even walk through the cafeteria.

Some imams (Islamic preachers) come from the outside of the school and lead Muslim students in the Islamic prayer and this happens at the school Cafeteria after the lunch on Fridays. All other non-Muslims are in classes in the afternoon when they are using the cafeteria as mosque. There is a mosque nearby but the Muslim kids pray in the school

School administration take part preparing the Cafeteria and making it into mosque every Friday and no one but Muslims can use the Cafeteria during the Islamic prayers on Friday.

And there are a number of other incidents involving Islam and other anti-Christian issues that I complained about, including a white convert to Islam who was a supply teacher and who openly promoted Islam and bashed Christianity last year!"

"Mark, my other two kids also go to a different public primary school and the snack for all the kids in this primary school is all "Halal". My wife complained about it and she was told she can prepare her own snack for our kids but the school would not drop the Halal menu for all the students. All the school kids in this primary school have to eat halal snacks whether they are Muslim or not"

Update: It is confirmed thanks to reader Munimula, the Valley Park Middle School cafeteria is turned into a mosque and a local Imam is brought in to lead the children in worshipping Allah:

"Prayer Service, the school is providing a venue for the Muslim student’s to have prayers at school on Fridays. An Imam from the neighbouring mosque comes to our school and conducts the prayers. Prior to this, students signed out early on Friday afternoons to go to mosque. By staying at school, valuable instructional time is saved for our students."

More segregation afoot in Toronto? What's with the "Africentric" stupidity?

As if it was not sickening enough, that moslems prefer living in and forming their own little enclaves, and do their best in that stealth jihad kind of way, to keep the rest of the citizens away from those areas by opening shops and malls catering more to moslems than to anybody else (if you don't believe me, go visit the East York mall and surrounding area of grocery shops and convenience stores in Thorncliffe Park and check for yourselves) .... now we learn that there is another segment of our population in Toronto ..... the "Africentric" loonies  alongwith  some disgusting politicians, not unlike John Tory and the Ontario Education Board's busybodies trying to do the dirty once again. 

This time ... they want yet another "Africentric" High School at the Oakwood Collegiate in St.Clair Ave W.   It all started with an elementary school for blacks only somewhere up north in Toronto some few years ago. What a wrong move that was and what a disaster it will all prove to be in a few years down the road.

Can you believe these numbnuts?  When these "Africentric"  kids graduate from their black schools .... where are they going? Are they going to some "Africentric" college or an "Africentric" university and from there to an "Africentric" workplace?  In the next few years, in time for their graduation, will the idiotic liberal dumb-bells create special companies catering ONLY to "Africentric" folks ?  Will these "Africentric" graduates not have to live in the world as we see it today .... multi-colored, multi-faceted and not just "Africentric"?

Man ......... some things just drive me up the wall.  This is one of them.  

John Tory lost a very important election because of this controversy .... and I would have thought that would have sent a clear message to all politicians and to every  kind of  numbnut whereever they happened to be, even with the diminished  and unhinged matter sloshing around in  their skulls,  they would get the message from Torontonians ... loud and clear. 

WE  DO NOT WANT SEGREGATION OF ANY GROUP ... EVEN IF THAT GROUP IS FOOLISH ENOUGH  TO BEG FOR IT.
