Leftosphere says: Sarah Palin gets blessings from Kenyan witchhunter Kenyan pastor blesses Palin to protect her from witches Sarah Palin believes the Kenyan pastor's blessings will give her protection and success THE TRUTH is, the above is THE TRUTH A Kenyan pastor Thomas Mathee visited Sarah Palin's Assembly of God Church in Wasilla for the first time in 2005 and subsequently visited Wasilla several more times after that. In addition to the 1000s of items on the two major search engines, Yahoo and Google, you will find videos on Utube where Mathee is spurting his drivel. I have to admit that I cringe every time a lefty mentions this strange belief of Palin's but then I am hardly even "mildly" religious so I am bound to look askance at an overtly religious person. Having said that, I can also see Palin's side of it. She is a devout Born Again Christian. I believe Born Again Christian ceremonies have all kinds of strange stuff going on that lay people like us, belonging to other sects, will find totally confusing. Almost all religions have "blessings" and if the Kenyan pastor's favorite blessing includes the "protection from witches" that he bestowed on Palin (see video below) who are we to blame and vilify Sarah Palin for it? I know someone who thinks we came from seedlings and trees are our ancestors. Each one to their own beliefs. Who are we to deprive folks from their beliefs. And now, lets compare and contrast. In the case of Obama, he too got a blessing in either a Kenyan Christian way or a Kenyan Muslim way or maybe it is a cultural thing. Here's the pic to jog your memory. Obama belongs to the United Church of Christ and they too have "blessings". They have different sets of blessings for different occasions. Each "blessing" consist of the pastor inviting the service member(s) and other persons in the congregation to come forward and a laying on of hands is done. Just like you saw in the Sarah Palin video. Only different Churches, different sects. How come nobody thought that Obama's church meting out different kinds of blessings as the occasions warranted, and his church's beliefs in "angels" and "demons" and therefore in all likelihood Obama's beliefs as well, are perfectly okay. And when "witches" and "witchdoctors" descended on Washington DC to put spells and give "blessings to protect Obama" (see vid below) and sweep the town clean for the great one's arrival, was that all very normal with the leftosphere?
