I heard that Iggy will be gracing Toronto with his presence soon
but you will need to shell out $500 to shake his hand and get him to give his noble nod after you say your simpering "hello".
A lib friend of mine who loves to get on my nasty side, sent me a copy of the invite and wanted to know if I would like to attend. The nerve!! The reception is being hosted by Hall-Finlay at some place in King West. I deleted the email in a huff, so am not able to give you more details.

No barbeque beef burgers (although turkey and vegan could be substituted for the discerning Liberal appetite). Menu - kobe beef and imported red wine. Cheers. Fern StAlbert
ReplyDeleteI received the invite as well. Hall Findlay ding dong is my MP, but you can be sure that I have never expressed any interest in the Lazy Liberal party. Below for your amusement is the invite:

Both cocktail receptions will take place on Friday August 28 at 1 King West starting at 5:00pm with lots of chocolate and the hors d'oeurves!
The $500 reception will take place in the "Vault" and the $200 reception will take place in the "Grand Banking Hall". The $500 reception will run for a little less than an hour and will be limited to approximately 25 people -this reception will be filled on a first-reserved basis. Attendees at this event will receive free admission into the Grand Banking Hall event. Michael and Martha will attend both. Michael will address the crowd in the Grand Banking Hall, but will be captive to attendees in the Vault from 5:00pm until just before 6:00pm.
