The tricks shysters use to prey on the unemployed

Today while surfing around reading online newspapers, I happened to see an ad in the Victoria Star classifieds which read: quote: $650 WEEKLY P/T Reading online banner ads, start immediately, www.hitnetworx.com Bonus Code DG1. unquote Right off, I knew this was a scam and I thought why not write about this instead of blowing my top over politics. So, I visited their website and at the very top is their enticement to ensnare people looking to find employment. According to them they are the "#1 Online Guaranteed Traffic Advertising Agency. We provide companies with quality Internet advertising solutions that are guaranteed, targeted and effective. We provide millions of hists and quality ad exposures every month for our clients......" and then they show you the logos of the clients that they supposedly represent. and then they want you fill out a form to see if there are any openings in your area of residence. Of course, I ventured further into this labyrinth of internet scams as I wanted to see how hard they were kicking people who are already down having lost their jobs in these hard times. I typed in one of my email accounts and got this Congratulations. Hitnetworx is currently accepting home workers in your region..... And then the cheap sales pitch : " Important Notice" Due to overwhelming response to this offer we will soon have to close our doors to new participants. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. As of (the date shown was today, but if you go in there tomorrow or the day after, it will show that date, wanna bet?) we have 4 remaining spots. if you would like to guarantee your spot with us, you will have to take action immediately. we will not be accepting any more applicants once these positions are filled. Further down the page there are loads of photographs of people who registered and are now happy they did as they have found this company has given him easy work and they are so pleased they took the step to register, blah blah blah All you have to do to join this exclusive workers' band is to make a one time payment of: "41.89 CAD Please note all Money Orders will process the same day we receive them. Checks will require a 2-5 day hold. Once they clear the information will be sent out. It is faster to use a money order. Saving 2-5 days" When I tried to exit the website, I got this: Rina Says:Hey Wait! If you order now I can offer you an additional 50% Discount so you can get started for just $19.95! (Normally $39.90) That's $20 off our original asking price! To take advantage of this one off deal just CLICK HERE Rina Says:When you are ready, type 'hi' and we can get started... Rina Says:So if you want to start Making Money on the internet from your own home sign up for the 'HITNetworx' today! Rina Says:Okay, I'll be moving on now... Last chance... Just type 'hi' to chat with me today. Or to get your additional 50% discount As I have nothing better to do these days, I started a chat with Rina the bot and got her going all crazy. The bot is programmed to spew out auto responses. When I typed in "bot bot bot". The bot comes back with: "No, I am a virtual sales person :}" If you have time on your hands, go harrass the bot. I wonder how many people have actually registered and how many from the photographs are either on the scam or were given genuine jobs for a couple of days to make it all sound authentic. Cheating and scamming people looking for jobs is fast becoming a very profitable business for those who do not have even an atom of moral ethics.
