"Miracle" plane up for sale


Miracles happens when you have a pilot who keeps his cool and makes the world's most perfect landing on a liquid runway.

If you got enough cash you might just be able to own a piece of aviation history. The Airbus 320 that landed miraculously in the Hudson back in 2009 is up for auction. ...

....The passengers who walked away from last year's Miracle on the Hudson will converge on New York next week to raise an anniversary toast at the site of the amazing splashdown.

Their drink of choice? Grey Goose, of course.

"It's the unofficial vodka of Flight 1549," joked Tracey Wolsko of Charlotte, N.C., who is organizing the reunion of passengers who were aboard the jet when it hit a flock of geese and went down. .....

  1. $20 Million ( minus the engines), a good deal considering the cost of one new is between $55-60 million, depending on how it is configured.
