Here's proof that our soldiers are mean, mean, mean - Part 6

"Canada ... cloaked our detainee practices in extreme secrecy," Richard Colvin, a Washington-based intelligence officer, said in long-awaited testimony to a special parliamentary committee. "Our detainee practices (were) unCanadian, counterproductive and probably illegal."
"Instead of winning hearts and minds, we caused Kandaharis to fear foreigners," he said.

You know something, Richard Colvin is so right. He speaks the truth and nothing but the truth. The initials of his name R C probably stands for Roman Catholic and he must be a devout one at that.   I for one... I believe this man and the pictures here will tell you how truthful he is when he says "Instead of winning hearts and minds, we caused Kandaharis to fear foreigners."

Look at the pic above. It is so apparently evident that after our soldiers delivered 560 brand new wheelchairs to the physically disabled Afghan citizens, many of whom had become so because of the attacks on them from the Taliban, they turned to our mean guys and said: "Our hearts and minds fear all of you Canadian monsters. Begone from our land and stop torturing us."

In this pic, an Afghan soldier translates to the villagers what our guy wants to convey. Our soldier is distributing newspapers and short-wave radios and showing the locals how to operate them if they suspect their village is going to be the target of those murderous Taliban. The villagers tell our guy: "Our hearts and minds fear all of you Canadian foreigners. Begone from our land and stop torturing us. We are waiting for our entire village to be killed by the Taliban saints. Being killed by saints gives us access to heaven."

And over here in this pic, our soldier with an Afghan colleague is visiting an elder's home where he is told: "Our hearts and minds fear all of you Canadian soldiers but you can have a cup of our Afghan strong tea and after that begone from our land. We remain in terror, shivering and quivering in your presence and the sooner you have your cuppa and leave the happier we will be. We want the Taliban our saviours to come to us again and that won't happen unless you are gone."

Oh oh... what's happening here? An Afghan family has invited one of our guys to inaugurate the opening of their shop? No, no.... that simply cannot be. Remember what Richard Colvin said, he said: "Instead of winning hearts and minds, we caused Kandaharis to fear foreigners." So, I would think the translation of this pic should be along these lines: The people of Afghanistan fear Canadian soldiers and do their very best to keep them away from their homes, their businesses and their lives."
