The Saudi government is donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to help finance the expansion of private Islamic schools in Canada, according to newly leaked documents that shine a light on how foreign states are helping finance a growing demand for religious education.
The documents, involving cables between diplomats at the Saudi embassy in Ottawa and government officials in Riyadh, contain conversations from 2012 and 2013 about a $211,000 donation to a school in Ottawa and $134,000 to a school in Mississauga.

She refused to take part in a citizenship ceremony because she would have to show her face under a ban introduced in 2011. The three-judge panel ruled from the bench, saying they wanted to proceed quickly so that Ishaq could obtain her citizenship in time to vote in the Oct. 19 federal election......... One of Ishaq's lawyers, Marlys Edwardh, said the Immigration Department would be contacted this week so she could attend a citizenship ceremony — accompanied by her lawyers "just in case." ..........

The minors are not included in the "numbers game" and whether you want to believe it or not, I have heard of those extra wives jotted down as "daughters" because it's easy in those countries, especially in war-time, to get falsified papers manipulating the true ages of those our wonderful North American governments are importing so very delightfully.

At least 3 Canadians took part in forcing hostages to hand over computer passwords and PINs At least three Canadians who joined an al-Qaeda-linked militant group in Syria were directly involved in the holding and harsh interrogation of two U.S. journalists in the region, CBC News has confirmed. Sources say the Canadians, whose identities aren't known by CBC, took part in the imprisonment of Theo Curtis and Matt Schrier, who were held in captivity together between 2011 and 2013. Curtis was released by al-Qaeda affiliate group Jabhat al-Nusra last month, while Schrier escaped last year. Both men are still recovering and haven't yet fully detailed what happened in their years in captivity. The Canadian captors reportedly forced the hostages to hand over their computer passwords and PINs, draining their accounts. They then callously wrote letters and emails to the journalists' families pretending to be the men, and then set about going after their credit cards and racking them up, buying electronics and computers on eBay, according to the sources..........

From UNHCR: Refugee total hits 3 million as Syrians flee growing insecurity and worsening conditions Syria's intensifying refugee crisis will today surpass a record three million people, amid reports of increasingly horrifying conditions inside the country – cities where populations are surrounded, people are going hungry and civilians are being targeted or indiscriminately killed.
Almost half of all Syrians have now been forced to abandon their homes and flee for their lives. One in every eight Syrians has fled across the border, fully a million people more than a year ago. A further 6.5 million are displaced within Syria. Over half of those uprooted are children. UNHCR and other aid agencies say increasing numbers of families are arriving in a shocking state, exhausted, scared and with their savings depleted. Most have been on the run for a year or more, fleeing from village to village before taking the final decision to leave. There are worrying signs too that the journey out of Syria is becoming tougher, with many people forced to pay bribes at armed checkpoints proliferating along the borders. Refugees crossing the desert into eastern Jordan are being forced to pay smugglers hefty sums (ranging from $100 per person or more) to take them to safety. The vast majority remain in countries neighboring Syria, with the highest concentrations in Lebanon (1.14 million), Jordan (608,000) and Turkey (815,000). In addition to the three million registered refugees, governments estimate hundreds of thousands more Syrians have sought sanctuary in their countries. This has led to an enormous strain on their economies, infrastructures and resources. More than four in five refugees are struggling to make a living in towns and cities outside of camps, with 38 per cent living in sub-standard shelter, according to a recent survey. Syrians are now the world's largest refugee population under UNHCR care, second only in number to the decades-long Palestinian crisis. The Syria operation is now the largest in UNHCR's 64-year history. "The Syrian crisis has become the biggest humanitarian emergency of our era, yet the world is failing to meet the needs of refugees and the countries hosting them," said António Guterres, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. "The response to the Syrian crisis has been generous, but the bitter truth is that it falls far short of what's needed," said Guterres. A recent upsurge in fighting appears to be worsening an already desperate situation. As frontlines shift, new areas are emptying out. UNHCR is also deeply concerned for the wellbeing of several hundred Syrians trapped inside the Al Obaidy refugee camp in Al Qa'im, Iraq, after UN agencies and international NGOs were forced to abandon their offices and warehouses. In the meantime, Canada is importing thousands of Syrians, Libyans, Egyptians, with some places in Canada looking like you are walking through a souk with Arabic speaking shoppers everywhere you look. I was at a North York mall this past weekend and I could see why retailers will never raise their voices for curbing immigration from the Middle East. The newcomers mean a lot of business for home decor outlets, real estate, rental companies, car agencies, supermarkets,etc. Toronto's retailers are a happy lot, all thanks to the influx of new immigrants. After studying the root cause of the migration of Muslims and non-Muslims from Africa due to Muslim jihadis reign of terror (created mainly by Saudi Arabia and Qatar ... do your own research to find out how) and the upheaval in the Middle East (created solely by Israel and Saudi Arabia with the blessing of the USA .... again, do your own research to see how) .... the world is now awash with close to 55 M people whose status is considered to be either "displaced" or "refugee." It won't hurt Canada to import 1.5 M of these people and give them a home in our bountiful nation by our 150th birthday, will it? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. The world is a lovely place when you see the trouble makers of this world falling into a steaming hot pile they had meant as traps for others. HAHAHAHAHAHA

A 25-year-old Canadian man is in custody after two U.S. fighter jets escorted a Panama-bound flight back to Toronto on Friday. The Sunwing plane was forced to turn around when a passenger said he wanted to bomb Canada, eyewitnesses reported. Flight 772 departed from Toronto at 7 a.m. Friday, heading toward Panama City with 181 passengers, two infants and a crew of six on board. Passenger Bettina Bathe told CTV Toronto the incident unfolded not long after takeoff when a flight attendant came by to pass out headsets. "He basically just tore a strip off her, explaining how expensive the cigarettes are here in Canada, he hates Canada," Bathe said. "Then he said, with great expression using his hands, 'I just want to bomb Canada.'" Following procedure, the flight was then diverted back to Toronto's Pearson International Airport, about 45 minutes into the flight, escorted by two fighter jets.......
Only the illiterate are making their way to fight with jihadis. How did the Canadian immigration department go so wrong? We used to be the envy of other nations for having the best mix of well educated immigrants who were fast becoming part of the backbone of this country. How and when did we start importing so many refugees who are largely so illiterate that they think they can hold a Canadian citizenship but still go abroad to fight civil wars in other countries? Within a week she was in Syria, and a few weeks later she was married to Abu Ibrahim al-Suedi, a 26-year-old Palestinian from Sweden fighting for Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the Sunni jihadist group battling the Syrian regime. It is not clear whether Umm Haritha's marriage to Abu Ibrahim was arranged before her travel to Syria. Regardless, it only lasted five months. On May 5, Abu Ibrahim, whose real name is Taha Shade, was in a car en route to a meeting in Deir ez-Zor with members of rival faction Jabhat al-Nusra. What was meant to be a gathering to finalize a peace treaty between ISIS and al-Nusra turned deadly when an al-Nusra fighter on a motorbike sped up to Shade’s car and detonated his explosive belt. At the time, Shade was wearing his own explosive belt, which also went off and blew him to pieces. Two days later, Umm Haritha tweeted about her husband’s death, calling on “Allah” to “destroy those who backstabbed the brothers and resurrect Abu Ibrahim with noor [light] from every piece of his body.” Umm Haritha’s journey to Syria highlights an underreported part of the western Jihadist experience in Syria. While the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (ICSR) has estimated that up to 2,800 Western men have gone to Syria to fight, much less is known about the Western women who have gone over to marry jihadists since the Syrian civil war began three years ago......
Strange going-ons with journalist Stewart Bell of National Post. He pens an article which is a sob story of what happened to a Canadian jihadi when fighting in Libya to overthrow Gadhafi. The jihadi comes back with a bullet in his spine and is now confined to a wheelchair which means the jihadi will be a burden to the Canadian taxpayer for the rest of his miserable life. And, to add insult to injury, nitwit journalists like Stewart Bell decide to write articles from the jihadis' point of view. Stewart Bell didn't think it was his duty as a Canadian to mention to the jihadi that if one considers oneself to be a Canadian, then what happens in your "home" country that you left to be a citizen of Canada should not matter to you. Your loyalty is to Canada and as a Canadian citizen you have no right to join uprisings in other countries. If one wants to do that, then one should give up their Canadian citizenship and get the fuck out of here. Mr. Ben-Kura had never fired a gun either. He was a Montreal-born business student at Bishop’s University. But after arriving in Benghazi, he signed up for basic weapons training and set off to help the Libyan rebels topple Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. Three years later, the Mad Dog of the Middle East lies in an unmarked grave somewhere beneath the desert sand and Mr. Ben-Kura is back in Canada with a new mission. Four days a week, he visits an Ottawa physiotherapy clinic, building his strength so he might one day get out of the wheelchair he has needed since a soldier’s bullet severed his spine. He struggles with post-traumatic stress. He is 25. In an interview this week, he insisted it was worth it to oust Gaddafi and free his political prisoners. “He’s dead now,” he said of the dictator. “His sons and the other people who were doing the dirty work for him are either out of the country or in jail. They have to face the consequences of what they did. And that’s good enough.”...........
You gotta wonder how a terrorist force which makes up probably less than 1% of the population of Iraq can now hold sway over more than half the country. This should serve as a harbinger of things to come to those naive idiots who claim that Muslims make up less than 5% of the population of Canada or America. It's not the percentage... stupid ... it's what that percentage can do to you, that you, as a peace-loving decent citizen, would never be able to. Is that so difficult to understand?

Only then, he was known as Abu Abdullah Al Khorasani. CBC News has confirmed that Al Khorasani was Ashrafi's nom de guerre and that he was a Canadian citizen who grew up in the Stampede City, where he went to school and worked. The Calgarian's story is one of as many as two dozen others, most of whom left to battle alongside rebel militants in Syria. At one time, Ashrafi led a lifestyle many would have envied, with jobs at Talisman and Exxon and huge downtown Calgary firms.........
