Sarah Palin is a Woman of Substance

There should be no doubt about that. Sarah Palin knows what it will take to bring prosperity to America and turn this recession into the biggest boom America has ever known and we being their neighbours and closest trading partners will also benefit. Although, I am a big fan of Palin's, and my readers know it by now, I am also a realist. I can see that Palin has enemies, and very strong ones, even in the Republican camp. Sad, but true. Anyone who doubts her ability to govern should talk to the general populace of Alaska and if the glowing reports from them is any indication, then Palin will one day make an excellent US Prez. Hopefully, that will be in 2012. If not, the woman is still very young.

Petroleum is a major part of America’s energy picture. Shall we get it here or abroad?

Given that we’re spending billions of stimulus dollars to rebuild our highways, it makes sense to think about what we’ll be driving on them. For years to come, most of what we drive will be powered, at least in part, by diesel fuel or gasoline. To fuel that driving, we need access to oil. The less use we make of our own reserves, the more we will have to import, which leads to a number of harmful consequences. That means we need to drill here and drill now.........
