Canada is a haven and a heaven for people with questionable ties

Come one, come all to our land of Canada.  No need to leave your terrorist baggage at the borders.  Our lawyers will take care of you.  We have had lots of experience on how to twist the Canada govt's arm and abide our biding.  Even our judges are in your quarter.  So, dear haters of the West,  come and live with us in Canada.

MONTREAL - A security certificate against a Montreal man accused by Ottawa of having terrorist ties has officially been declared null and void.

Adil Charkaoui, a married father of three who has steadfastly denied any links to terrorists, said Wednesday he's elated with the judgment.

Federal Court Justice Daniele Tremblay-Lamer wrote that the certificate has been quashed and that Ottawa has no right to appeal.

Tremblay-Lamer said the notion of national security is a question of perspective and that grey zones can exist.

  1. There will come a day when the average Canadian citizen will have to do what his or her government will not.

When your govt will not protect you, what other option is there?

Civil unrest? Tearing down the multi culti framework? Immigration intolerance?

You ain't seen noth'in yet baby..

  2. And how many millions is this POS going to sue the taxpayers of Canada for??

  3. That we should be treated so respectfully and with such human eloquence in countries with fundamental differences in constitutions and foundational principles! Such welcome mats in foreign nations mean nothing short of incarceration for Canadian citizens. Why do WE have to be so damned accommodating?

  4. Rob C - you predicted it! The POS is already doing that and I am sure there is a queue of unlawful lawyers waiting to help him out. I just posted another item on this POS.

  5. I don't suppose you've considered the posibility that Mr. Charkaoui might be innocent?

  6. nos200 - and I don't suppose you've considered the possibility that he might be guilty and that our security investigators and the RCMP might be correct, have you?

  7. I believe my question was first. Is it possible that this man is innocent?

Our entire legal system is based on a presumption of innocence. That Mr. Charkaoui was released from the security certificate would indicate that the RCMP and CSIS did not have sufficient evidence to support their conclusions. So, unless you're willing to change our system to one in which the accused is guilty until proven innocent, and that's not a system I would want to live under, then you should be wary of declaring someone guilty simply because you think he's guilty of... well... of something.

But out of curiosity, on what bases, besides the initial accusations, do you presume Mr. Charkaoui's guilt?

  8. nos200 - why don't you read what's directly under the name of my blog:

"If you are not in sync with my mind-set, please keep away from this blog, and I "Thank you" for not polluting it with your presence."

Now bugger off. You are not welcome at my blog.

  9. Yes. You also wrote this:

"This blog belongs to a Conservative woman who believes in total freedom of speech. "

So, I will very politely ask if you wouldn't mind responding to my queries. Thank you.

  11. Crystal clear, and exactly the response I was expecting.

"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."

You might not get the reference. You might consider looking it up. And no, I'm not Balbulican, though I did read how he tried to explain to you that the BBC does not have shareholders, being a public sector institution. A fun read.

  12. I will leave you with this thought though. If you're so unable to stand up to the scrutiny of your ideas that you need to block and ignore alternative views, then just how secure are you n the beliefs you claim to hold dear?

    Just a thought.

I am not posting anymore comments from you.
