Sarah Palin ... a name that lights up blogspots and sells newspapers

h/t: ron in kelowna, commenter at small dead animals

Since resigning her post as governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin has essentially gone dark, making almost no public appearances and successfully avoiding the media outlets that are clamoring to talk to her.

But that doesn’t mean Palin has been quiet.

Relying almost exclusively on social media to get her message out, Palin has managed to carve out her own high-profile place in the national health care debate, on energy policy and on tort reform.

While Palin isn’t the only major political figure to try alternative means of communication to bypass the media, her unique ability to remain in the headlines while avoiding the spotlight suggests she may be the first to pull it off successfully.

  1. I like Palin too, funny how strong minded Conservative women support her without envy.

Maybe our own MP's should start realizing the power of blogs and facebook.

  2. So what about those op-eds in the in The Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal?

Not that I mind Palin either staying away from negative publicity or her outspoken commentary.

Contrary to the mass media's contrived image of her .... she's no dummy.

  3. Hunter - that's because we have confidence in our own ability and are not straws in the wind like lefty women.

OMMAG -Yes, she is no dummy. You will hear time and time again that she cannot string two sentences together and that her facebook entries are the work of writers on her payroll. Palin has a degree in Journalism, but not many people know that, because the MSM will never ever mention it. They want people to think she is a hillbilly with no education whatsoever.
Also, she does not cling to teleprompters like someone we know.
