PM is gifted with another 'Dion'

There must be days when even Stephen Harper can't believe his good fortune.

Of course, some would adamantly disagree, given that Harper has not been quite fortunate enough to get his majority.

Clearly, though, Harper has been the beneficiary of three consecutive Liberal leaders -- Paul Martin, Stephane Dion and now Michael Ignatieff -- who have been incapable of ending the infighting in Canada's supposed natural governing party. It's also exceedingly lucky that Harper might be about to do battle with a Liberal leader who appears to be as politically unskilled and out of touch as Ignatieff seems to be.
Fate gifts Harper another 'Dion'

  1. Funny how no one mentions that Harper re-united the right, showing how strong a leader he could, and as has been proven, would become. The right remains united while the left falls apart, not just because of weak leaders, but because of infighting within.

I think PM Harper's job has been far harder, because any misstep by any conservative, is always blown way out of proportion. Liberal blunders are always dismissed by the MSM as nothing important.
