Open Season on Christians
Michael Coren's video clip "Attacks Against Christians" is from July 2 and is worth watching, however, Sarah Palin's fans will have to forgive him for the stupidity he shows after uttering her name...and it's not just him, almost every other talking head no matter how Conservative they happen to be, does the same kind of thing, it's a phenomena that's worth studying. It's like they are saying "Although I take her name, I take it in vain."
The video, along with Nina Shea's article below (full article at link) should be sent to your friends and foes who know jack squat of what's going on in the Muslim countries where Christians unlucky enough to find themselves in those hellholes, live their lives.
Nina Shea writing at NationalReview:
....On June 23, Catholic Syrian priest Fr. François Murad was murdered in Idlib by rebel militias. How he was killed is not yet known and his superiors “vigorously deny” that he was a victim of beheading, as some news sources are claiming. It is apparent, however, that he was a victim of the shadow war against Christians that is being fought by jihadists alongside the larger Syrian conflict. This is a religious cleansing that has been all but ignored by our policymakers, as they strengthen support for the rebellion.
Affiliated with the Franciscan order that was given custody of the Holy Land sites by Pope Clement VI in 1342, the 49-year-old priest was killed in Gassanieh, in northern Syria, in the convent of the Rosary where he had taken refuge after his monastery was bombed at the outset of the conflict, and where he had been giving support to the few remaining nuns, according to Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Custos of the Holy Land. The Vatican news agency Fides reports that “The circumstances of the death are not fully understood,” but, according to local sources, Fr. Murad’s building was attacked by the jihadi group Jabhat al-Nusra.
Fr. Pizzaballa denies that any Franciscans were beheaded last week, as was claimed by several sources. He was quoted in the Italian press, commenting about the video, “it seems like various old news stories have been mixed up.” The video was “uploaded by al-Qaeda to terrorise Christians,” according to Andrea Avveduto, a writer who works with the Custody of the Holy Land. “The corpse of Murad was intact. The friars in the region exclude [sic] that the priest was one of the people beheaded in the footage.” Avveduto also writes that “The friars are apparently alive and are currently in the Franciscan monastery of Latakia, where they arrived a few days ago, to bury the body of their brother, Fr. Murad.”
As I testified to Congress last week at a hearing on Syria’s minorities chaired by Rep. Chris Smith (R., N.J.): “Though no religious community has been spared egregious suffering, Syria’s ancient Christian minority has cause to believe that it confronts an ‘existential threat.’”
In fact, this was a finding last December of the U.N. Human Right Council’s Commission of Inquiry on Syria. As in Iraq, Syria’s two-million-strong Christian community, the largest next to Egypt’s Copts in the entire region, is being devastated. Targeted by jihadist militias, they are steadily fleeing Syria, and whether they will be able to return to their ancient homeland is doubtful.
Archbishop Jeanbart of Aleppo’s Melkite Greek Catholic Church explained:
Christians are terrified by the Islamist militias and fear that in the event of their victory they would no longer be able to practice their religion and that they would be forced to leave the country. As soon as they reached the city [of Aleppo], Islamist guerrillas, almost all of them from abroad, took over the mosques. Every Friday, an imam launches their messages of hate, calling on the population to kill anyone who does not practice the religion of the Prophet Muhammad. They use the courts to level charges of blasphemy. Who is contrary to their way of thinking pays with his life.Fr. Murad was only the most recent cleric to be targeted by these militias. The highest profile attack was the kidnapping by gunmen in April of Greek Orthodox Archbishop Paul Yazigi and Syriac Orthodox Archbishop Yohanna Ibrahim. This sent an unmistakable signal to all Christians: none is protected.
Some other examples of Syrian Christians, from various faith traditions, who have been kidnapped and killed or never seen again include:.
27-year-old Father Michael Kayal of the Armenian Catholic Church in Aleppo was abducted in February while riding a bus after Islamists spotted his clerical garb. He has not been seen since.
Greek Orthodox priest Maher Mahfouz was kidnapped around the same time and has not reappeared.
Syrian Orthodox parish priest Father Fadi Haddad was kidnapped last December after he left his church in the town of Qatana to negotiate the release of one of his kidnapped parishioners. A week later, Fr. Haddad’s mutilated corpse was found by the roadside, with his eyes gouged out.
Yohannes A. (whose last name has been redacted by Fides protect his family) was summarily executed. An Islamist gunman stopped the bus to Aleppo and checked the background of each passenger. When the gunman noticed Yohannes’ last name was Armenian, they singled him out for a search. After finding a cross around his neck, one of the terrorists shot point blank at the cross, tearing open the man’s chest.
A woman from Hassake recounted in December to Swedish journalist Nuri Kino how her husband and son were shot in the head by Islamists. “Our only crime is being Christians,” she answers, when asked if there had been a dispute.
18-year-old Gabriel fled with his family from Hassake after his father was shot for having a crucifix hanging from his car’s rear-view mirror. The son told Kino: “After the funeral, the threats against our family and other Christians increased. The terrorists called us and said that it was time to disappear; we had that choice, or we would be killed.”
Christians and others also have been targeted by the courts of the “Caliphate of Iraq and the Levant,” the name the al-Nusra Brigade and other Islamist rebels use in reference to the Syrian territory under their control........

Freedom Fighters at Human Rights Conference in Dearborn, Michigan
This is a "must listen to" video. The conference was held in April 2012. It's easy to listen to these long videos when you are going about doing your daily chores. Just listen and learn and be thankful for these heroes who are fighting the evil of islam and shariah on our behalf. Furthermore, thanks to the other unsung heroes who make these great videos available to us for ready learning.
Two of America's foremost freedom fighters, Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer play host at this Human Rights Conference in honour of Jessica Mokdad. It has a string of excellent speakers. I think I have missed a couple of names in the list below but I strongly recommend that you find the time to listen to all of them.
At about 20 min mark, Nonie Darwish ... terrifying tale of dead girls floating in the Nile and kids playing around unconcerned.
At about 30 min mark, David Woods who will give you a first hand experience of what happened in Dearborn, Michigan.
At about 50 min mark, Robert Muise, lawyer fighting the good fight. I learnt something new about AIG. If you are invested in mutual funds, believe you me... you have a piece of AIG whether you know it or not.
At about 1.20 min mark, Michael Coren of SunNews network gives the Americans a bird's eyeview of some of the madness happening in Canada.
At 2.00 mark the courageous Simon Deng from Sudan who was sold into slavery at age 9 to a Muslim family.
The last 20 minutes was opened for questions.

Yet another "holier than thou" Conservative clown leaps out of the woodwork ...Ryan Doyle the dolt
Is there no end to these idiots?
First in line was Joe Warmington piling on His Worship and the clown even remarked "I created the monster" .... really Warmington??? Really?? really?? Ah ...the ego !!
Now, Ryan Doyle says his bloody piece on TheArena with Michael Coren. Instead of looking at ways on how to right the injustice done to our mayor, these banshees are instead piling on him. How very disappointing. Doyle has let the lefties push their viewpoint on him ... that makes him just a Straw Man. Ugh !! I have been fortunate enough never to have listened to his radio shows and given by his opinions here, I know I didn't miss out on anything important. This man is an appeaser ....which in my dictionary also means a coward ..... he preferred that His Worship should have been extra careful not to step on the lefties' toes rather than be himself. Ugh ... and double ugh !!

Michael Coren of SUNTV and Ryan Doyle of Newstalk 1010 discuss Freedom of Speech
You know what "freedom of speech" is, don't you? To many of us it's like oxygen without which we will wither and die.
If we don't have our most basic right .... the right to think and speak our thoughts, we are shackled in chains ... and many a time, those chains are of our own making. I hope Pastor Terry Jones is let inside our borders without a fuss. This is a democratic country, right?!!!! At least I hope so.

Islam: The Untold Story
Allahu Akbars are raging at historian Tom Holland and his documentary which aired a few days ago in the UK. What else is new, eh?! Very interesting comments at the link below.
Ed West writing at TheTelegraph
....Last night’s Islam: The Untold Story will have made uncomfortable viewing for some people. It certainly seemed to be for one of the featured experts, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, an Iranian Islamic philosopher who had the look of a man whose faith is facing the rising tide of scepticism and godlessness. It is one Christians from the past century and a half, from the early days of higher criticism to the recent plummet in religious attendance, will recognise well.
In this atmospheric and intelligent documentary Tom Holland, whose recently published In The Shadow of the Sword took the burgeoning study of early Islam to a popular audience, looked at the early history of the religion and sought to explain what evidence we have for the traditional history, as viewed by the faithful.
“The evidence is almost nonexistent,” he says. “When you start looking, everything is up for grabs.”
The peoples of antiquity, whether Persians, Greeks, Egyptians or Romans, saw the Arabs as a backwards, obscure people from the desert. As for their religion, they worshipped a number of deities, including cubes, although there were Christian and Jewish communities scattered along the Arabian Peninsula.
But in the seventh century these “despised” people rode out of the desert and embarked on a series of conquests that would soon have them running an empire that stretched from central Asia to the Loire Valley.
And yet the strangest thing about this period, known by posterity as “the Muslim conquest”, is that there is little evidence that they were Muslims at all. When the Arabs arrived in Jerusalem in 636 under Caliph Umar Ibn Al Khattab none of the chroniclers of the period have anything to say about what religion the new conquerors were.
Palestine had been under the control of the Byzantines, who had expanded the number of churches and encouraged Christian settlers, leading to much friction with the Jews. The new masters, who had just smashed a Byzantine army five times as large, seemed to look at Jewish sites with reverence, which led some Jews to see them as saviours and many Christians to feel paranoid about a Jewish reconquest.
And yet no one describes them as “Muslim”; nor does the Arab ruler of Jerusalem mention the Prophet Mohammed anywhere.
Most puzzling of all is the fact that Mecca, birthplace of Mohammed and holiest place in Islam, is not mentioned until a century after the Prophet’s death, and appears just once in the Koran – otherwise the book mentions "Bakkah", which in Muslim tradition is another name of Mecca. Yet as Holland points out in the book, the Koranic Mecca, a place where Christians and Jews lived, does not seem to fit with the distant Arabian town of that period. From a historian’s point of view the description of the city given in the Koran far better matches various settlements in what is now Syria or Israel, the same regions that “the believers”, as the Arabs were first called, were settled in when the Koran first started to be written. So it's possible that Bakkah was located around there. Holland even visits the site of the first known mosque, which faces not towards Mecca but east.
The implication is clear – that what came to be called Islam developed much later than the Prophet Mohammed’s life, and by Arab leaders in more northerly lands who now found themselves in control of a huge, diverse empire filled with Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians........

Connie Fournier of Free Dominion and the good fight to win back and retain ...
a human being's fundamental right of the Freedom of Speech in Canada.
This is the Fourniers' website where, because of comments made by visitors to the open forum, which were perceived as "racist" the Fourniers were dragged into the Canadian Human Rights gulag where they fought bravely and teniously in a landmark fight for freedom of speech and won against one oppressor. However, the Dark Side is not done with them and the endeavor to crush this family is an ongoing onslaught.
To know more about what happened to the Fourniers and their legal battles go here.
Here's what Brian Lilley of SUN TV said: If you support free speech then I ask you to support the cause of the folks over at Freedominion.com
Mark and Connie Fournier have been at the front lines of the fight for freedom of speech on the internet in Canada. They and their readers backed Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant while at the same time fighting their own court battles.
You may never have heard of them or their site. You may not like Freedominion. But if you value free speech then I am asking you to give to them.........
Here are three choices by which you can donate to help the Fourniers in their battle with the Dark Side and at the same time know you have done something, however little or not it might be, to make your own imprint in safeguarding and fighting for our fundamental God-given rights.
1) The Jewish Defence League has organized a fundraiser to be held on Monday July 9 from 7-9 pm at 788 Marlee Avenue, Toronto, which you can attend and make a donation of your choosing. Call 416-736-7000 for details.
2) Go here to contribute online.
3) You can also use the snail mail to send a cheque or money order to the Fourniers at:

Very disturbing and shocking incident in Dearborn, Michigan
In this post you will read and see what is happening in Obama's Islamized America.
Jamie Glazov writing at RightSideNews:
In the video below, we see a small number of Christians who gathered holding Christian signs at the 2012 Dearbor, Michigan Arab festival being assaulted by Muslims with bottles, stones, and other objects. The police do not protect the Christians or take action against the perpetrators; in the end, they reprimand the Christians and instruct them to leave. Ever since, there has been no coverage of this outrageous event in our media. Nor has CAIR or any other Muslim organization denounced the Muslims who abused the Christians.
One can’t help but wonder: If a small group of Muslims gathered in the U.S. somewhere with a few signs depicting Koranic verses, and a mass crowd of Christians or Jews began to assault them, verbally and physically, threatening violence and mayhem, would police tell the Muslims to leave, instead of acting against the perpetrators? And would the media be completely quiet about it? Would Muslim groups be silent about it after?
What if Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson gathered in a civil rights rally and they were surrounded and stoned by a mob of KKK supporters? Would the police show up and reprimand Sharpton and Jackson and instruct them to leave, all the while leaving the racist perpetrators untouched? And if this happened, would our media be completely silent about it? Would Anderson Cooper be completely silent every evening on CNN as he is at the moment about the stoning of the Christians in Dearborn?
The YouTube uploader of the video writes:
If this extremely disturbing video does not result in a Federal investigation into the human rights violations of those Christians physically attacked at the 2012 Dearborn Arab Festival then we are watching the beginning of a new America, a MUSLIM AMERICA.
In this new America, a MUSLIM AMERICA, shariah-compliant Muslims have succeeded in striking fear into the hearts of the infidels. In the case of the Dearborn Arab Festival, you will see that the infidels are NOT the few, brave Christians who withstood the physical attacks by the blood-thirsty Muslims, but the fearful are those who have taken an oath to protect Americans. The fearful, are the Dearborn Sheriff and Police. Sadly, you will see the Police fearful of confronting the criminals and enforcing the law as they stand by watching "Muslims Gone Wild," attack the helpless Christians.
The United West predicts that success of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt combined with the mounting fury of the "Arab Spring," coupled with the support of President Obama will result in an expansive, "strong-horse" onslaught of Muslim physical aggression, similar to this Dearborn disaster, all across the new, MUSLIM AMERICA.
Below is Michael Coren of SUN TV Canada talking about this very disturbing incident. I wonder if anybody from the MSM in America has even bothered to touch on this incident. In Canada, we stand with our American Christian brothers and sisters even if your own media and your own govt. won't.

Canada, Multiculturism and Tarek Fatah
Appeasing the various gangs of multiculturism chips away at good commonsense laws. When a body's immune system is damaged, all sort of viruses and bacteria can invade the body and within no time at all, a healthy person can be bedridden. Canada's immune system has been ravaged by the disease of political correctness.
Tarek Fatah is back with a vengence. The month of May has been one busy month for the guy. Good to see him victorious over the big "C".
Tarek Fatah writing at the TorontoSun:
When the history of our troubled adjustment to a multi-racial western society is written, I hope the role of guilt-ridden, bleeding heart white liberals shall feature prominently.
The quintessential example of such a person is Cheryl Bormann, the American lawyer for accused jihadi Walid bin Attash, who is charged in the 9/11 terrorist attack on America.
Bormann came to court dressed in an exotic full body Arabian cloak with a head cover that befitted downtown Riyadh rather than Guantanamo. If her affront to America was not enough, she then asked the judge to order other women in the room to follow her example.
Cheryl Bormann is not alone. Closer to home we have Barbara Hall, the head of the notorious Ontario Human Rights Commission. At one time Hall’s commission was advised by an Islamist who came to work dressed in full-body Saudi attire. Supporting this sharia promoting civil-servant was a revolving cast of multicultural/Islamic commissioners, one an Imam, the other an admirer of Ayatollah Khomeni with the former head of the Canadian Arab Federation to complete the mix.
Last week Barbara Hall and her commissioners forced the Ontario government and the Toronto Police to agree to allow Sikhs to wear a ceremonial dagger, the kirpan, inside all public areas of Ontario’s courts. OHRC had been pursuing this case since 2006 when a female college student on a class trip to Old City Hall was refused entry because she was wearing a Sikh dagger and refused to take it off when asked to.
The “grievance” of this woman was taken up by the World Sikh Organization, who were helped by Hall’s staff and lawyers.
So scared are the rest of Ontarians and their political leadership of being called a racist that no one dares challenge this medieval edict that makes it mandatory for all baptized Sikhs to wear a dagger at all times to protect their “honour.”Kirpan is made of two words, kirpa (mercy) and aan (honour).
To give legal validation to a 17th century edict without discussing the merits of that edict in the 21st century, is to surrender our heritage of rationalism and reason to that of medieval religion, be it Islam, Sikhism or any other faith.
The order to Sikhs to wear the kirpan was made by the tenth Guru of the Sikh faith, Guru Gobind Singh in 1699 at a time when the Muslim armies of the Mughals were terrorising the nascent Sikh community of Punjab. Had I been alive then, I too would’ve worn a kirpan and fought with my Sikh brothers and sisters, so brutal were the Mughal warlords.
Today, the carrying of the kirpan carries no significance other than symbolic. Why then not just wear a tiny necklace-like symbolic dagger? Why the need for a 7.5 inch blade?............
Glenn Beck's TheBlaze has a nice long article on Tarek Fatah, the link also has Fatah on Steve Paikin's show talking about his book "The Jew is Not My Enemy"
Canadian political activist, author, columnist and practicing Muslim Tarek Fatah has been described as a liberal Marxist who stands firmly opposed to radicalism Islam. While he disagrees vehemently with American conservatives when it comes to the economy, he may surprise you when it comes to fighting radical Islam.
Recently, The Blaze interviewed Fatah, delving deeply into his views about President Barack Obama, the American left and the ongoing need to fight extremism.
You may recall our coverage last year of his address at Canada’s Ideacity conference. During his speech, the practicing Muslim bravely proclaimed that “the religion of Islam is being used as a tool by a fascist force.” Additionally, he made some bold claims about the American government...........

"Did Mohammad Exist?"
IMO, taqiyyah came first then the Koran and Mohammad.
Daniel Pipes writing at the NationalReview on Robert Spencer's bold and timely endeavor "Did Mohammad Exist?" What I didn't like is that, according to the review, Spencer has premised that if Mohammad did exist he existed as "an anti-Trinitarian Christian rebel leader in Arabia". I can't deal with that. Will read the book in it's entirety for proper clarity.
...Now, however, two scholars have separately ended this secrecy: Tom Holland with In the Shadow of the Sword, and Robert Spencer with Did Muhammad Exist? As their titles suggest, Spencer is the bolder author, and so is my focus here.
In a well-written, sober, and clear account, he begins by demonstrating the inconsistencies and mysteries in the conventional account concerning Mohammed’s life, the Koran, and early Islam. For example, whereas the Koran insists that Mohammed did not perform miracles, the hadith ascribes him thaumaturgic powers — multiplying food, healing the injured, drawing water from the ground and sky, and even sending lightning from his pickax. Which is it? Hadith claim Mecca was a great trading city but, strangely, the historical record reveals it as no such thing.
The Christian quality of early Islam is no less strange, specifically “traces of a Christian text underlying the [Koran].” Properly understood, these traces elucidate otherwise incomprehensible passages. Conventionally read, verse 19:24 has Mary nonsensically hearing, as she gives birth to Jesus, “Do not be sad, your Lord has placed a rivulet beneath you.” Revisionists transform this into the sensible (and piously Christian) “Do not be sad, your Lord has made your delivery legitimate.” Puzzling verses about the “Night of Power” commemorating Mohammed’s first revelation make sense when understood as describing Christmas. Chapter 96 of the Koran, astonishingly, invites readers to a Eucharist.
Building on this Christian base, revisionists postulate a radically new account of early Islam. Noting that coins and inscriptions from the seventh century mention neither Mohammed, the Koran, nor Islam, they conclude that the new religion did not appear until about 70 years after Mohammed’s supposed death. Spencer finds that “the first decades of the Arab conquest show the conquerors holding not to Islam as we know it but to a vague creed [Hagarism, focused on Abraham and Ishmael] with ties to some form of Christianity and Judaism.” In very brief: “The Muhammad of Islamic tradition did not exist, or if he did, he was substantially different from how that tradition portrays him” — namely, as an anti-Trinitarian Christian rebel leader in Arabia......

Muslim comic book heroes .....as insipid as the Muslims themselves
Those tall tales from the islamic world just don't cut it with us anymore.
I would prefer to read Frank Miller's "Holy Terror" instead of the slop from islamic propagandists and their tools here in the West. His "300" was great and I hope someone has the balls to make "Holy Terror" into a movie too.
Dr.Pipes on the muzzie comedians infiltrating with comics .... the paper kind.:
....Comic books as a method of missionizing for Islam (dawa)?
Yes. One year ago, Harvard University hosted a workshop to teach comic-book artists how to address Americans’ “unease with Islam and the Middle East.” And later this week, Georgetown University will air a PBS documentary, Wham! Bam! Islam!, celebrating a comic book called The 99.
The 99 sounds innocuous. Adweek describes its topic as “a team of multinational superheroes [who] band together to fight the forces of evil.” The American children’s network Hub more fully explains that, “created by noted Middle East scholar and clinical psychologist Dr. Naif al-Mutawa, [it consists of] superhero characters who must work together to maximize their powers. Each member of The 99 embodies one of 99 global values such as wisdom, mercy, strength or faithfulness, and they hail from 99 different countries on seven continents. The series’ superheroes portray characters designed to be positive role models, representing diverse cultures, who work together to promote peace and justice.”
Who can object to the promotion of “global values . . . representing diverse cultures”?
But a closer look reveals the Islamic nature of the comic book. The title refers to Islam’s concept that God has 99 names, each of which appears in the Koran and embodies some attribute of his character: the Merciful, the Compassionate, the Kind, the Most Holy, and the All-Peaceful — but also the Avenger, the Afflicter, and the Causer of Death........

Our tolerant muzzies in Canada, maliciously imported by our politicians for the sole purpose of torturing the good citizens of this country
Every bit of evilness happening in infidel lands is solely because of the stinking fabric our politicians are made of.

Hate mail from Canadian muslims.

The terrorfilled world of the stark raving horror of islam ....
in Somalia and everywhere else. And yet, most disgracefully, our Conservative govt. continues to import thousands of muslims into Canada. Our overlords just don't seem to understand the implications of what will happen when the muslim population in Canada reaches that certain percentage when they start behaving like the loons they really are but hide that trait extremely well when amongst infidels they cannot control as yet.
What are you doing to Canada and to us, O mighty and powerful Jason Kenney???? It would be wise for our Immigration Minister to listen carefully to this vid where a Copt tells Michael Coren how the muzzie machinery works.
In Somalia, the horrors continue.
Somalia's hardline Islamist group al Shabaab has publicly whipped women for wearing bras they say violate Islam by constituting a deception, north Mogadishu residents said on Friday.
The insurgent group, which seeks to impose a strict form of sharia Islamic law throughout Somalia, amputated a foot and a hand each from two young men accused of robbery earlier this month. They have also banned movies, musical ringtones, dancing at wedding ceremonies and playing or watching soccer.
Residents said gunmen had been rounding up any woman seen with a firm bust and then had them publicly whipped by masked men. The women were then told to remove their bras and shake their breasts.
"Al shabaab forced us to wear their type of veil and now they order us to shake our breasts," a resident, Halima, told Reuters, adding that her daughters had been whipped on Thursday.
"They first banned the former veil and introduced a hard fabric which stands stiffly on women's chests. They are now saying that breasts should be firm naturally, or just flat."
Officials of Al Shabaab, which Washington says is al Qaeda's proxy in the failed Horn of Africa state, declined to comment.....
