I like Kevin Spacey, he's one of my favorite actors, but that's because I am into movies a lot.  You can't expect a man who runs a big city like Toronto and runs it efficiently and is on call  24/7 to know the Kevin Spaceys of this world.  Ford spends his free time playing football with immigrant kids and at half time during matches arm wrestles with the  great  Hulk Hogan. 

Now, the latest news on our "putting Toronto on the tourist map" mayor, is about him saying something about Kevin Spacey.  Kevin Spacey, being the humorous guy that he is, twitted a photoshopped  pic of himself with the Ford brothers after he heard about the brother Ford's peeve.

Doug Ford then made a direct comment to Spacey: "Kevin, why don't you get off your high horse and be real and take pictures with people?"
Rob Ford, meanwhile, said he doesn’t watch movies. “I wouldn’t know him if I ran over him.”..........

In other news, our lefty media in Toronto is all over the place claiming that polls show Olivia Chow is 8 points ahead of Rob Ford.  HAHAHAHAHAH.  Man, these people just never learn.  Nobody in their right mind should ever trust polls.  The last ones, where Ford ran away with the vote, showed his rival (can't remember his name at the moment, but you know, that gay guy .... the husband of a husband) was shown as a sure winner and what happened?  Yeah ... never trust polls. The pollsters never talk to the people who really matter in Toronto because they can't understand their accents.  Those are the very people that matter in Toronto and those are the people who stand firmly with Rob Ford.  We know a genuine article when we see it ... and Rob Ford is genuine.

The Canadian Institute of Diversity and Inclusion recently released a promotional video that shows doubles luge, a sport in which one rider lies on top of the other as they sled down the track. At the end of the video is the tagline: “The Games have always been a little gay. Let’s fight to keep it that way.”

“They’re making fun of our sport for their cause and it doesn’t really make a lot of sense to me,” Christian Niccum, an American Olympian, said after completing two training runs at the Sanki Sliding Center. “If I were to go hug my dad and someone took a picture and showed it in really slow motion, they could use it in a video like that and that’s just ridiculous. It’s my dad. Can’t we show affection to each other without it being some sort of sexual contact? This is sports. It’s the same thing. Why does it have to be like that?”

And for the second time, the discoverer was Tucson astronomer Rich Kowalski, using the 60-inch telescope on Mount Lemmon. 

The asteroid named 2014 AA was about the size of a car, and it likely burned up in the atmosphere over the Atlantic Ocean off the West Coast of Africa on New Year’s Day. 



In comparison, the one that lit up Tucson skies last month was about the size of a basketball.

Kowalski works at the Catalina Sky Survey, a division of the University of Arizona’s Lunar and Planetary Laboratory. 

“This is a group that has found more than half the near-Earth asteroids known to mankind at the moment,” said Professor Timothy Swindle, who heads the laboratory. 
The Catalina Sky Survey has dedicated telescope time, two good telescopes and software that helps detect objects in real time, he said.
“These two they’ve found are little ones, but their real job is to find ones that may be dangerous,” Swindle said. “The trick is to find them before they find us, which is what they’re trying to do.”

Kowalski was working alone on a routine night on New Year’s Eve when he spotted asteroid 2014 AA, said Sky Survey director Eric Christensen. 
Right away he reported his observations to the Minor Planet Center — a clearinghouse for information about the locations of minor planets, comets, asteroids and other space objects — and then he made follow-up observations.
The impact trajectory was later calculated by three other groups of scientists, Christensen said.

“It’s yet another reminder that near-Earth space is a busy place,” he said.....

Paul Ruzycki, in a letter received by his family on Sunday, said he has been in a 4x5 jail cell by himself for a week and now has a Russian cellmate who doesn't speak any English.

"He says the jail is a loony bin, with people screaming and yelling day and night and craziness everywhere," Patti Stirling, Ruzycki's sister, said on Sunday.

He also claims he was forced to give blood and have X-rays.

Ruzycki, of Port Colborne, ON, is one of the so-called Arctic 30, 28 Greenpeace activists and two journalists, being held in Murmansk, Russia, after protesting against the Gazprom-owned oil rig, Prirazlomnaya, two weeks ago in the Pechora Sea.
Ruzycki, who has been with Greenpeace for 25 years, is chief mate on board the Arctic Sunrise, the Dutch-registered vessel seized by Russian officials.
He and the rest of the crew, including fellow Canadian Alexandre Paul, of Montreal, were charged with piracy last week. The charge carries a maximum sentence of 15 years.
"We are non-violent peace activists not criminals. We have had people visit our ships around the world, from the Dali Lama, Bishop Desmond TuTu," said the letter released exclusively to QMI Agency.
Stirling said the letter is dated Sept. 30 and written from jail cell 421 in what appears to be Ruzycki's writing.
"It was big news to wake up to," Stirling said. "The family was a mess this morning."
Stirling said the note was printed on paper and someone took a photo of it. Greenpeace sent the photo to the family.....

Having that peer pressure to appear to be a sweet, nice and loving person to all creatures under the sun and to be politically correct even at the point of death  is what gets the naively stupid in the most horrendous situations in muzzie lands they opt to travel for "adventure."  In my opinion,  TV channels like the Canadian CBC, the British BBC, the many American lefty channels and the lefty media in general, who refrain from telling people the truth about islam,  are the main culprits who should bear the  blame for the deaths of thousands of  non-Muslims  at the hands of a people and culture they foolishly believe to be  akin to their own and whose countries they believe are  safe and free as the ones they were born in.  

Amanda Lindhout suffered torture and rape for almost all of the 459 days she was a captive of bastards in Somalia.  I wonder what kind of help she gets now that she is back in Canada  that prevents her from  howling aloud when she sees the thousands of  Somalians in the streets of Canada.  Very few women would have gone through what she did without losing their sanity.  Her story should be widely told, especially to the young idiots who rally  on behalf of Muslims without knowing a single concrete thing about the inherent character of their culture and religion.  

Did Amanda Lindhout give birth in Somalia to a baby born of rape and torture?  Maybe, her book "A house in the sky" will lay to rest  if that's a rumour ...  or is it a fact?
