The turmoil in Ukraine is continuing ... at a somewhat sedate pace for now. I read somewhere that more than 5 million Ukrainians have to work abroad because the unemployment rate in their own country is too high and corruption is rife. If you are not related to some big honcho or don't have the money to bribe personnel managers and interviewers, forget trying to find employment. Moreover, borrowing from the banks is unthinkable unless you are in a dire situation. Their lending rates range from 20 - 25%.
