Bahrainis dying for democracy largely ignored by Western media

Protesters in Bahrain marked third year of their ongoing revolt which is ignored by the West.  If they were Sunni Muslims ... all hell would break lose and the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, the EU and even Martians would have been preparing to set sail and fight on their behalf.  The BBC and Reuters write a few token sentences so they can remain guilt-free and claim that they did their duty of "reporting"  but the only news media giving the Bahrainis a voice is RT.

From BBC:
.....Bahrain protests mark three years since revolt.
Protesters in Bahrain have tried to reach the site of a bloody crackdown on demonstrators almost three years ago.
Police used tear gas to stop them from reaching the Pearl Roundabout, which was a focus of protests in 2011.
The protesters have been demanding more rights and an end to discrimination against the majority Shia community by the Sunni royal family.
Since then, police and demonstrators have scuffled almost daily. Thousands of people have been arrested.
The government and opposition have held two rounds of fruitless reconciliation talks, with a third expected soon............

From Reuters:
...Bahrain said on Thursday     it had arrested 29 people for rioting and vandalism in several villages, the day before the third anniversary of mass protests which could spark more street unrest.

Sunni Muslim-ruled Bahrain has been shaken by frequent demonstrations and clashes since mostly Shi'ite Muslim demonstrators took to the streets in February 2011 to call for greater democracy......
