Survival instincts make erstwhile enemies into buddies, if only for a while....

Today, I have scanned a multitude of newspapers from the Muslim countries surrounding Israel and could not find a single item about Israel's military presence in the Suez Canal. Israel is now within striking distance of Iran's nuclear facilities and getting even closer as we speak. The Arab states are keeping mum, which equals to giving their blessing to the looming action which we all knew was inevitable. With the big bully, Egypt, having opened the inlet of the Suez Canal to Israel to sail through, we can surmise that the other gang members have also joined in.
The wickedly wealthy nation of Saudi Arabia secretly joined hands long ago, and forgive me for being so paranoid, but I think after Obama's visit to Saudi Arabia, the deal was sealed, signed and delivered to Israel. I do not, not even for a second, believe the media stories, whether from our side or from anyone else, about Obama throwing Israel under the bus. Will never happen. Give the man credit for at least knowing that Israel is USA's only true, trusted and SANE ally in that part of the world, a part of the world that is so full of raving lunatics that instead of them continuously building those skyscrapers and trying to compete with our CN Tower's height, they should give their full focus to building sprawling lunatic bins for their 70%+ citizenry of whirling dervishes.
These countries are now dependent on Israel to take out Iran's growing nuclear threat, because who knows, maybe Iran is pretending to "wipe out Israel" while secretly plotting to take over the other oil rich countries. Can happen. These countries, other than Iran, have only two things going for them, Oil and Money sans brains. Iran has more, much more.
The newspapers there today are full of the bombings in Jakarta and the presence of Rafsanjani at their usual Friday hate fest. According to Khaleej Times which is a paper of long standing in that part of the world and more credible than others, the feeling is that the Iranian rising is as strong if not stronger. from KhaleejTimes: more here "Senior Iranian cleric Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani is calling for the release of opposition supporters arrested in the crackdown on postelection protests. Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, a former president who sits on two powerful clerical ruling bodies, made the comments during his sermon before tens of thousands of opposition supporters, with opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi sitting in the front row.
The opposition packed the prayer hall to make a show of strength at the weekly Islamic prayers, which broadcast live on radio and are one of Iran’s most important and symbolic political platforms. It was Rafsanjani’s first time delivering the sermon since the June 12 election. In recent weeks, hard-line clerics have been using the sermon to tell Iranians to fall in line behind Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and accept the election victory of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad."
