The "Secret Jews" of USA and Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Portugal and all over.

I was so intrigued recently, after reading something from one of the blogs I visit, about an upcoming "secret Jews" convention in Israel, that I did some internet research and my findings are mind boggling - at least to me they are, because I was wholly ignorant of the fact that several thousands of Jews kept their religion a secret, whether knowingly or unknowingly, practising in private, while publicly adhering to a different faith - namely Christianity which was forced on them during the Inquisition and then later Islam which was forced on them in arabic lands in later times. Now it all falls into place. The reason why Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other arabic countries around Israel are so very, very secretive when they are laying foundations for their super structures. You see, some of the land is bought by developers from "supposedly" arabic families whose ancestors have lived on the land they are selling for decades. On digging the earth before laying the foundations, often times some artifacts are uncovered that have to do more with Jewish customs rather than islam. You just have to give a small tug to your imagination to surmise that the present arabic owners were probably Jewish before they were forced to give up their faith and convert to islam. I am sure that the arabs know deep down that a great many of them carry the same DNA, the same blood and that in all likelihood they were Jewish at one time. Knowing that, would that make them hate their Jewish beginning? Do they feel cheated and confused? I think the rumor floating around that Ahmedinejad's roots are Jewish is probably true although that really flies smack in the face given how he feels about Israel. This article is fascinating, Smithsonian Science-nature mag actually it is a long study, so get into it only when you have the time. Its about four genetic cancer specialists who discovered totally by accident that the"genetic mutation that caused the virulent breast cancer had previously been found primarily in Jewish people whose ancestral home was Central or Eastern Europe. Yet all of these new patients were Hispanic Catholics" in the USA There is a lot of info in Wikipedia (although I agree with a the vast majority of users who find that at least 10% of the info in Wikipedia is incorrect, however, it is a good source to get links to other more credible sites). From Wiki: "A large community of Crypto-jews lived in Mashhad, near Khorassan, where they were known as "Jedid al-Islam", who were mass-converted to Islam around 1839. Most of this community left for Israel in 1946, but some have converted into muslims and live in Iran today." Also from Wiki: "Many of the immigrants from Portugal were secondary immigrants from the Jewish Expulsion from Spain in 1492. However, Portugal in 1497 issued a similar decree that effectively converted all remaining Jewish children, making them wards of the state unless the parents also converted:" More from Wikipedia: "Colonial officials believed that many crypto-Jews were going to Mexico during the 1500s and complained in written documents to Spain that Spanish society in Mexico would become significantly Jewish. Officials found and condemned clandestine synagogues in Mexico City. At this point, colonial administrators instituted the Law of the Pure Blood, which prohibited migration to Mexico for New Christians (Christiano Nuevo), i.e. anyone who could not prove to be Old Christians for at least the last three generations. During this time, the administration initiated the Mexican Inquisition to ensure the Catholic orthodoxy of all migrants into Mexico. The Mexico Inquisition was also deployed in the traditional manner to ensure orthodoxy of converted indigenous peoples. The first victims of burnings or autos de fé of the Mexican Inquisition were indigenous converts convicted of heresy or crypto-Jews convicted of relapsing into their ancestral faith."
