Quote going around the web like wildfire

An unknown person at a discussion forum has hit the nail on the head so furiously and so precisely that his words are now echoing all over political discussion forums.... according to my friend Irene.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”

  1. It's the same mentality that trusted idiot actors, talk show hosts (Oprah),celebrities, international leaders etc. It was a domino effect and from my perspective, it started with Oprah.
I remember the segment that she originally interviewed the 'smooth talker', suggested to her international audience that he should run and the rest is history.

When a country is struggling and the perfect storm has found it's way into the economic engine, a messiah makes perfect sense to solve everything, right? Ha!
At least the Americans are catching on and doing it rather swiftly. Many Canadian are still obscenely smitten by this guy that will hopefully never be able to deliver his version of socialism.
North America doesn't need to have 2 of us!

  2. In all fairness to Obama, no matter what we think of him, how could anyone who followed George W. Bush look good?

  3. The Seer - I wish I was as slow as you, that might have let me understand what you wanted to convey.
On the other hand if you are attempting to be sarcastic, try googling "Do you miss me yet?" and see what comes up.
