Pat Condell tears into the Catholic Church

Okay, let's have more hate mail for posting this vid from the lovable atheist with whom I agree to a great degree. I am collecting all the hate mail and criticisms of my various posts and one day soon when I have a nice big collection (I am getting there super quick) I intend compiling all the mail into a best-seller and making tonnes of money. So bring it on and  a big Thank You.

  1. That is one angry Atheist.

As an Atheist with Portuguese roots, I'd like to thank The Church and its Crusades for liberating the Iberian peninsula from Muslim aggressors and in the process kick starting the renaissance with captures works of philosophy and science from a pre-christian age.

Everyone should be mad about child molesters and those who facilitate them. This man goes a little to far though. History is history and nobody can say how things might have turned out better with any certainty. The Romans used steam power to open large doors. Innovation was stifled by slavery and they did nothing else with that breakthrough. Imagine Rome with locomotives. Anyway its a silly thing to play what-if for too long because you just don't know.

  2. Please do post the hate mail you get, it would be interesting to see what the heroic but anonymous warriors have to say.

You ARE only playing someone else's video.

    Kinda like the Mohammed cartoons,eh?

  3. No Lynn, I don't think I want my readers to see the "c" word and what I should do with my mouth, etc. and what Palin should do with her mouth etc. That's the kind of stuff even our own spew when they do not like female bloggers like me. I seem to do something to the male ego on both sides of the aisle. I should be proud but feel disgusted at times.

  4. I'd say I'm more disappointed than angry. That really is one hateful atheist though.
