Grieving mother on quest to find son's killers who are on payroll of the USA, UK and France
I wonder how much more stinking money warmongers like John McCain, William Hague and Francois Hollande will be making from the stock, either they or their family members hold in the companies profiteering from the terrorist war in Syria. These manufactured wars gives the world many more millionaires and billionaires at the cost of innocent blood. If only there were more brave people like Andrew Snowden to blow the lid off the secret list of the stinking rich involved in these wars to get their paws on more money to make them even more stinking rich. Mohammed Qataa's mother wanders the streets of Aleppo looking into strangers' faces as she tries to find her son's killers.
She knows she would recognise them. She was looking right at them when, in front of a dumbstruck and terrified crowd, Mohammed was shot dead, accused of blasphemy.
She remembers Mohammed as a happy, dutiful son, well known and well-liked in the Shaar neighbourhood where the men of the family scrape a living with a coffee cart.
He was 14 years old, but with no schooling possible because of the war he was usually to be found on the busy main thoroughfare through Shaar, selling the thick, sweet coffee they prefer here.
One day last month, someone asked him for a free cup. "Not even if the Prophet himself returns," he had replied, laughing. That remark was a death sentence.
Recalling what happened next, she buries her face in her hands and weeps.
"One of them shouted: 'Whoever insults the Prophet will be killed according to Sharia'," she told me.
"I ran down barefoot to the streets. I heard the first shot. I fell to the ground when I got there.
"One of them shot him again and kicked him. He shot him for a third time and stamped on him.
"I said: 'Why are you killing him? He's still a child!' The man shouted: 'He is not a Muslim - leave!'"...........

People had gathered up there this night to get the best view possible of the moon rising. I captured the video from 2.1km away on the other side of the city. It's something that I've been wanting to photograph for a long time now, and a lot of planning and failed attempts had taken place. Finally, during moon rise on the 28th January 2013, everything fell into place and I got my footage.
The video is as it came off the memory card and there has been no manipulation whatsoever. Technically it was quite a challenge to get the final result. I shot it on a Canon ID MkIV in video mode with a Canon EF 500mm f/4L and a Canon 2x extender II, giving me the equivalent focal length of 1300mm.

I have a confession to make
I am disappointed that only 36 fucking Egyptians got killed in the last couple of days. Keeping my fingers crossed that by the end of the day there will be at least a 100 dead and gone. I won't be satisfied with a lesser number!
If Coptic Christians are also among the dead ... too bad. They are the persecuted ones because their ancestors ceded Egypt to the muslims without thinking of the plight their descendants would be in ... just like the Christians in the West are about to do now.

Massive fire in Quebec's Lac-Mégantic
Many reported missing. More than a thousand people have been evacuated. Investigation into the derailment of the freight train will be tough as by the time the fire either dies out or is controlled there will be only ashes to shift through. We are living in some very uncertain times.

A train carrying crude oil derailed overnight in the heart of Lac-Mégantic in Quebec's Eastern Townships, sparking a major fire that has brought firefighters from the town and neighbouring municipalities to the area, and led to the evacuation of 1,000 people from their homes.
Witnesses reported having heard several explosions in the town of about 6,000 located 250 kilometres east of Montreal. The derailment happened around 1 a.m. ET.
It is not yet known if there are any casualties.
A spokesperson for Ontario's Environment Ministery says 73 rail cars filled with crhde oil were involved.
The fire, which can be seen for several kilometres, has spread to a number of homes, although it is not clear how many people have been forced to leave......

Saudi Arabia kicking out "illegal" workers who paid Saudis big money for "sponsorships"
Saudi Arabia, after sucking dry the underpaid foreign workers, labels them "illegal" and then has the gall to tell the workers they can take "advantage of an amnesty" that will allow them to return home without prosecution. This is the country Canada accepts as our partner in crime NATO.
The reason why almost two million illegals are in the country is because the greedy Saudi citizens sell "sponsorships" to the poor in the Asian countries and when those people arrive in that hellhole thinking they have a job, they get a nasty shock. The sponsor does not have a job and you are left on your own to seek work and more often than not find yourself at the mercy of other Saudis who will pay you peanuts to work as a slave and the illegals are left with no alternative but to accept any kind of work in order to make money to pay off the loans they took to buy the "sponsorship" or to buy a ticket home. According to the Saudi govt, one has to work for the person who "sponsors" you and nowhere else ... thus making all the "sponsorships sans jobs" workers illegal. Nice scam to get slaves to keep coming to the hellhole, isn't it? The poor and the desperate always get the short end of the stick from these foul arabs.
Illegal foreign workers in Saudi Arabia, mostly Asians, are in a race against time to take advantage of an amnesty ending Wednesday that would allow them to stay or return home without prosecution.
King Abdullah announced the amnesty on April 3, granting foreign workers three months to regularise their residency or leave the oil-rich Gulf monarchy to avoid being blacklisted or jailed and fined.
More than 1.5 million illegal foreign workers came forward during the first two months of the amnesty, the labour ministry said.
It did not say how many illegal foreign workers currently live in the kingdom, but the number is reported to be around two million.
Of these, some 180,000 have left in addition to more than 200,000 unregistered workers expelled at the start of the year under new regulations to stamp out illegal immigration.
Many workers are still queueing outside their embassies to obtain documents to either leave Saudi Arabia or legalise their status before Wednesday.
As in most Gulf states, foreigners in Saudi Arabia need to be sponsored by a local business to obtain entry and work permits.
Foreigners desperate to work in the country are willing to pay for sponsorship, and sponsoring expatriates has become a lucrative business for some Saudis.
But under the new rules workers can be employed only by their own sponsors.......

The investigation was launched after the release of a video in May which showed heavily-armed and masked militants preparing to attack the Syrian city of Homs.
According to Bosnia’s Federation entity television, FTV, the investigation concluded that several of the men shown in the video came from Bosnia.
The security services identified one of the fighters as 22-year-old Armen Dzelko from Hadzici near Sarajevo, a follower of the radical Wahhabi Islamic movement in Bosnia.....

Revival of Christianity in Russia
I know of no better way than gathering the righteous Christians from all branches and segments of Christianity to act as one against the cult of islam. Russia's Orthodox Christian Church (ROC) has the right idea, even if at times some of their nutty monks and priests speak against Israel and Roman Catholics, they know in their heart of hearts that the enemy is islam ... and the old rivalry between themselves and Catholicism and Judaism is child's play compared to the danger all Christians and Jews face from the Caliphate.

Besides the Orthodox Christians, Russia's Roman Catholics are increasing their numbers too although not in leaps and bounds like the ROC.
During the Soviet Union's reign of terror, according to some reports, the ROC lost almost half its congregation who gave up their faith and turned to communism and atheism in order to keep their jobs and be immune from harassment from the commies. Many of the ROC priests and bishops were killed outright or died in prison. After the fall of the Soviet Union, the ROC has picked up the pieces and are roaring ahead ... so much so, that if this wikipedia item is accurate, then Russia now has anywhere between 45% - 65% of the population identifying themselves as Orthodox Christians.
The following news, events and activities makes me believe that those numbers are to be believed. I wonder how long it will take the talking heads in North America to give up on their hatred of the once communist Russia and open their eyes to the new Russia.... a Christian Russia.

"The Protestant movement is growing very strongly," said Rick Renner, senior pastor of Moscow Good News Church.
Renner and his wife Denise are at the forefront of the movement. In 1991, the couple moved their family to what is now the former Soviet Union with the goal of reaching Russians with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Nine years later, in September 2000, they started Moscow Good News Church in the Russian capital city.
"Moscow Church is approximately 3,500 people in regular attendance," Renner told CBN News.
That's big for Russia, where most Protestant churches attract less than a thousand people to each of their congregations.

This was stated by head of the Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch Kirill after a service at the Novodevichy Monastery in Moscow to celebrate the anniversary of the return to the Church of the Iberian Mother of God icon.
The Patriarch regrets that many countries in Western Europe are legalizing sins condemned by God. In ancient Russia, the Iberian icon stayed in the Novodevichy Monastery for three centuries. Since 1917, it was kept in reserves of the State Historical museum.

The society has been set up to defend Russia against what its members see as the threat of clericalism as religion, particularly the Russian Orthodox Church, the country's main church, grows in influence.
One of the Society of Atheists' organizers, human rights activist Lev Levinson, told ENI that his organization's first major action would be to send an open letter to President Vladimir Putin, protesting against a mention of God in the new text of the Russian national anthem. Levinson said this was at odds with the constitution which proclaimed that Russia was a secular state.
Referring to a line of the anthem that states that "the native land [is] protected by God," Levinson said: "It is not up to the state to establish whether God exists or not."
Russia's new anthem is set to the music of the old Soviet anthem, and was the subject of intense debate here last year. Presumably anxious to avoid another debate over the wording, President Putin adopted, unilaterally by presidential decree, anew text for the anthem two days before New Year's Eve, when the anthem was given its premiere on national television.
In the new text, written by Sergei Mikhalkov, the same poet who wrote the words of the communist anthem in 1943, praise for Soviet pioneer Lenin and the Communist Party is replaced with praise for Russia as the "holy country."........

The pictures, taken by A. Dean McKenzie, professor emeritus of art history, were taken during field trips to Russia and Alaska and display diverse architectural styles.
The installation includes images not only of celebrated cathedrals such as St. Basil’s on Red Square in Moscow and the 11th century Haghia Sophia Cathedral in Novgorod, but also traditional wooden churches known as “kokoshniki” and the much less well-known Church of Saint Nicholas, in Juneau, Alaska, which was established by members of the indigenous Tlingit people in 1881....

Fatwa issued on Syrian women by award-winning employees of the USA, UK and France
Looks like Assad's army has still not been able to liberate some parts of Syria's once prosperous Aleppo. The USA, UK and France along with their masters Saudi Arabia, Qatar and others ... are holding on fast to some of the many neighbourhoods of the city.

Syrian rebels have issued a ban on women using make up or wearing “immodest dress” in a neighborhood in the city of Aleppo. Critics have blasted the move as another attempt by Islamists to impose Sharia in rebel-controlled territory.
The fatwa (an order based on Sharia law) was issued by the Islamic law council in Aleppo's Fardous neighborhood.
"Muslim women are banned from leaving the house in immodest dress, in tight clothing that shows off their bodies or wearing makeup on their face. It is incumbent on all our sisters to obey God and commit to Islamic etiquette," the statement on the Fardous council's Facebook page says as cited by Reuters, which reports that Aleppo residents have confirmed the news.
Some of the comments showed support for the ruling, arguing there was nothing wrong in requiring that people follow “certain etiquette in public". Critics lashed out at the Islamist-led rebels for abusing their power.
The women’s clothing fatwa has been viewed as the latest example of Islamic radicalism growing within rebel-controlled Syrian areas.....

Egypt Sex Attacks Reach 'Horrific' Levels Nearly 100 women are assaulted in just four days during protests in Cairo's Tahrir Square, a human rights charity says.
The charity described the attacks as "rampant" and said they highlight the "failure of the government and all political parties to face up to the violence that women in Egypt experience on a daily basis".
Some of the 91 women assaulted were reportedly beaten with metal chains, chairs and sticks, while others were attacked with knives.
Joe Stork, deputy Middle East director at Human Rights Watch, said: "These are serious crimes that are holding women back from participating fully in the public life of Egypt at a critical point in the country's development."
The assaults come amid escalating protests in the square around the first anniversary of President Mohamed Morsi's election......

The woman is believed to have undergone surgery for horrific injuries sustained in the attack, as a volunteer vigilante group formed to protect women in Tahrir Square reported a new wave of sexual violence by groups of men targeting women.
Operation Anti-Sexual Harassment said it had recorded 44 cases of sexual assaults and harassment against women on Sunday night alone, the highest number it had encountered since the group was formed in November 2012......

....Nietzsche once said, "Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster.” That has proved to be very prophetic in the Syrian scenario. Away from all the agendas, whitewashing, propaganda, and outright lies of the global media stations, what we saw on the ground when the rebel fighters entered Aleppo was a far different reality. It hit home hard. It was a shock, especially to those of us who had supported and believed in the uprising all along. It was the ultimate betrayal.
To us, a rebel fighting against tyranny doesn’t commit the same sort of crimes as the regime he’s supposed to be fighting against. He doesn’t loot the homes, businesses and communities of the people he’s supposed to be fighting for. Yet, as the weeks went by in Aleppo, it became increasingly clear that this was exactly what was happening.
Rebels would systematically loot the neighborhoods they entered. They had very little regard for the lives and property of the people, and would even kidnap for ransom and execute anyone they pleased with little recourse to any form of judicial process. They would deliberately vandalize and destroy ancient and historical landmarks and icons of the city. They would strip factories and industrial zones bare, even down to the electrical wiring, hauling their loot of expensive industrial machinery and infrastructure off across the border to Turkey to be sold at a fraction of its price. Shopping malls were emptied, warehouses, too. They stole the grain in storage silos, creating a crisis and a sharp rise in staple food costs. They would incessantly shell residential civilian neighborhoods under regime control with mortars, rocket fire and car bombs, causing death and injury to countless innocent people, their snipers routinely killing in cold blood unsuspecting passersby. As a consequence, tens of thousands became destitute and homeless in this once bustling, thriving and rich commercial metropolis.
It was around about that time that I gave up on the revolution, such as it had become, and saw that the only way to Syria’s salvation was through reconciliation and a renunciation of violence. Many felt this way, too. Unfortunately, that is not a view shared by the warmongers and power brokers who still think that more Syrian blood should be spilled to appease the insatiable appetites of their sordid aspirations.....

on terrorism charges. So easy to catch idiots like these two. Were they converts to the cult of islam? Did they have contact with Muslims? Were those Muslims radical? Did they pray 35 times a week .... and did they attend any mosque? How about arresting Muslims. Don't give us this low hanging fruit just because it's easy picking. Climb the fucking tree and get at the real menace, or better still dig at the roots of the tree and hatchet them away.
I don't know about you, but these entrapment tales don't sit well with me..and I am willing to bet that this was entrapment, pure and simple. Two Surrey residents accused of planting pressure cooker bombs outside the B.C. legislature on Canada Day are described by police as "Al-Qaeda-inspired" but "self-radicalized."
B.C. RCMP arrested John Stewart Nuttall and Amanda Marie Korody in Abbotsford at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon after a five-month investigation that began in February.
The alleged homegrown terror plot is similar to that of the Boston Marathon bombers, who used pressure cooker bombs to send shrapnel through the crowd near the race's finish line on April 15.
RCMP seized what they are calling three "improvised explosive devices" that were made from pressure cookers that contained nails, bolts, nuts and washers and were placed on the legislative assembly grounds.
Nuttall, 38 and Korody, 29, are charged with making or possessing an explosive device, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, and knowingly facilitating terrorist activity.
"These individuals were inspired by Al-Qaeda ideology," RCMP Assistant Commissioner James Malizia said. "Our investigation has determined this was a domestic threat without international linkages.".....
I don't know about you, but these entrapment tales don't sit well with me..and I am willing to bet that this was entrapment, pure and simple. Stupid people can be entrapped into doing anything anybody conniving enough wants them to do. It's bad enough that the imams brainwash these kind of idiots into doing the dirty, but should law enforcement officers stoop down to doing the same?
And don't you just hate it when the RCMP or CSIS or the police don't give us details. Was the news of this arrest by the RCMP a sort of mitigation peace offering for the way they broke down doors and invaded people's privacy in the flood-ravaged High River community? Don't trust anybody even if they look very handsome in red uniforms. Especially, don't trust a law enforcement body that's seeking union membership.

4 thinly sliced pork chops (weighing about 1 3/4 pounds total)Blogger at GalliaWatch says:
4 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
2 heaped teaspoons quality dried oregano
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
1. Rub the pork chops on each side with the oil. Mince the rosemary and combine it with the oregano in a small dish. Press equal amounts of the herbs onto both sides of each pork chop and let them sit at room temperature for at least 2 hours, and in the refrigerator up to 8 hours.
2. Build a small fire in a barbecue, and when the coals are red and dusted with ash, spread them out and set the grill about 3-inches above the coals. Grill the pork chops until they are golden on the outside and still moist and just slightly pink on the inside, about 4 minutes per side. Fleeting glimpse of force fed cultural improvement in Afghanistan
Wonder how long before the Taliban savages find all these promising musicians and do to them what savages do.
The young Afghans shown in the vid were part of a group brought to the USA for a two-week tour so the conniving architects of the Afghan war could propagandize how they have instilled "democracy" in Afghanistan.
Most Afghans who have taken a bite of "democracy" and liked it, must have already filed their immigration papers to get out of Afghanistan along with the last remaining force feeders of democracy. Those remaining there will be the large masses of the uneducated who are content to live as slaves to savages. Truth is a bitter pill to swallow.... so let's just live in fantasyland.

Shame on Pope Francis and shame on everybody in the Holy See who were responsible for making it look like Fr. Murad died a death other than by the horror of a beheading (see the original news release from the Vatican).
No wonder people are turning away from the Catholic Church and going agnostic or declaring themselves to be outright atheists. Do you blame them???? When trust and respect dies .... that's it! If these supposedly "upright" (yeh ... I laughed too) somebodies in the Catholic Church have no guts to speak up for Christians, what good are they for?
Instead of coming out loud and clear, the entire band of cowards in the Vatican are cowering in the sacristy.
The appropriate stance to take was for Pope Francis to immediately gather his communications people around him and tell them that the atrocity should be made known far and wide and he should have made immediate personal contact with all the nitwit leaders of the Judeo-Christian nations to ask them point-blank if they were still going ahead with their foolhardy plans to arm and support Assad's "opposition". If they said, they still did, then Pope Francis should have called a presser and declared to the world the name(s) of those leaders and called on Christians everywhere to cease supporting the named leaders.
That would have been a no-brainer for someone with an ounce of guts. Pope Francis is a coward.

Arizona fire claims 19 firefighters

...NINETEEN firefighters have died while battling a fast-moving wildfire probably caused by a lightning strike.
Prescott Fire Department confirmed 19 firefighters, part of Prescott Granite Mountain Hot Shots, have died in the fire at Yarnell Hill, Arizona, myfoxphoenix reported.
The Daily Courier reported that the fire department lost nearly its entire crew.
Mike Reichling, Arizona State Forestry Division spokesman, said that they had been able to locate just one fireman from the incident, Arizona Central reported. Sources say the surviving firefighter has burns to approx 75per cent of his body, NewsBreaker tweeted.
Officials said they expected about half of Yarnell Hill's 500 homes to be decimated by the fire that is currently burning with zero containment and has grown well past 810 hectares.
About 600 residents have been evacuated from their homes........
