The sick, sick mayor of New York
A kapo is viler than vermin. What a sick bastard. The man thinks that painting of swastikas on some stores in New York, owned by American Jews, is not a "serious" issue.
.... "If it was real, and if it was done in other locations, you’d take it more seriously, obviously.".................

Tim Tebow and John 3:16
Look how celebrities can make the young sit up and take notice. In a way it's sad, to see that youngsters have to look up to celebrities to see which side the wind blows, as their parents have forgotten how to be parents. The molding of young minds is left to leftish teachers and almost always to depraved celebrities. Tim Tebow is the rare exception.
.....The fact that Tebow had 316 yards passing and averaged 31.6 yards .... per pass in the game didn't escape notice on Sunday night. Tebow wore "John 3:16" on his eye black in the 2009 BCS Championship game and has since become identified with the famous Bible message. The coincidental stats caused millions of fans to perform Google searches on the Bible passage in the past 24 hours. Here's one more unbelievable stat: John Ourand of Sports Business Journal reports that the final quarter-hour television rating for the Broncos-Steelers game was, you guessed it, 31.6.....

Muslim logic for suicide bombing: "We all die, so why not die the islamic way"
Thank you Sir Government for importing planeloads of muslims into Canada. What could go wrong? Nothing, nothing whatsoever. It's only America that the muzzies hate, not sweet old Canada, because in Canada we have no infidels.... didn't you know.
....Osmakac allegedly asked the source for help getting the firearms and explosives for the attacks, and the source put him in touch with an undercover FBI employee.
On Dec. 21, Osmakac met with the undercover agent and allegedly told the agent that he wanted to buy an AK-47-style machine gun, Uzi submachine guns, high capacity magazines, grenades and explosive belt. During a later meeting, Osmakac gave the agent a $500 down payment for the items.
"According to the complaint, Osmakac also asked the undercover employee whether he/she could build bombs that could be placed in three different vehicles and detonated remotely, near where Osmakac would conduct a follow-up attack using the other weapons he requested," the press release said. "The undercover employee said he/she could possibly provide explosives for one vehicle. Osmakac also allegedly said that he wanted an explosive belt constructed to kill people."
On Jan. 1, Osmakac told the agent that he wanted to bomb night clubs, the Operations Center of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and a business in Tampa, Florida.
Osmakac told the undercover FBI agent that he wanted to detonate a car bomb and use the explosive belt to "get in somewhere where there's a lot of people" and take hostages. During that meeting, the agent told Osmakac he could always change his mind about his plot.
"According to the complaint, Osmakac immediately shook his head in the negative and stated, `We all have to die, so why not die the Islamic way?' " the press release stated......

Canadian outfit falls out of favor in Afghanistan
Yup .... Karzai being the muzzie that he is, has no qualms about kicking out Canadians after their blood is shed on behalf of his country.
...President Hamid Karzai is in the midst of replacing foreign security contractors with Afghan guards.
The Interior Ministry said it was immediately withdrawing the company’s license, although the company, GardaWorld, a private Canadian security outfit, said it was in discussions with the government and hoped to be able to continue to operate.
The Interior Ministry said that the contractors, two Britons, who were detained on Tuesday after being found with an arsenal of unlicensed AK-47 assault rifles in their sport utility vehicle, were among the 341 Afghan guards and 35 foreign contractors employed by GardaWorld in Afghanistan.....

Songs of Christmas and Faith by Canadian singers .... part XVII
Jim Guthrie ... Time is a Force
okay,okay... this song has nothing to do with Christmas and faith, I just felt like concluding the series with this lovely piece and wishing Guthrie had sang at least one Christmas song and made it available at YouTube.
Canada has a deluge a superb singers, many of whom are yet to be discovered and go on to stardom like Michael Buble, Justin Bieber, Celine Dion, Shania Twain and many others. All it needs is luck in hiring the right kind of a PR firm.

Malmo .... as expected
When you appease the muslims and let them have their way, the results can be deadly. The aggressors' deadly and contagious virus for violence and mayhem can rub off on others too and it becomes a way of life .... for scum. Good, decent people are forced out of their ancestral homes and neighbourhoods because the knuckleheads in the Western govt. thought import of this depraved culture would enrich the lackluster but law-abiding original culture.
You reap as you sow.

Of course, we are in a recession !!!!
When countless people with tonnes of experience and qualifications can't find employment, when people like the OWS youngsters can't find employment, when people have to give up their homes because they can't make their mortgage payments ..... is it because the ecomony is doing great ????
Canada is in a recession and we should not be blind to that fact. Not talking about it or thinking we are only in a "mild" one is not going to alter the facts.
With the constant onslaught of grim financial news, it may come as no surprise that Canadians are feeling more pessimistic than ever about the economy and how it will hit their pocketbooks.
In fact, 70% believe Canada is already in at least a mild recession, according to a joint poll conducted by the Economic Club of Canada and Pollara Strategic Insights.
The online poll of 2,878 Canadians was conducted in mid-December and released Thursday in conjunction with the Economic Club’s annual economic outlook in Toronto.......

Archdumbo of Westminster gets mail
Some of the most rabid haters of anything Jewish are found amidst the Catholic clergy. You have to read the entire letter from Dr. Denis MacEoin to the Archbishop of Westminster .... it's delicious.
....What you mean exactly by ‘a land’ is neither here nor there, since most of the world is in some kind of darkness and has always been so. It is the curse of the human race. We are in agreement. But in a moment we are not. You continue by saying:
‘That shadow falls particularly heavily on the town of Bethlehem tonight. At this moment the people of the parish of Beit Jala prepare for their legal battle to protect their land and homes from further expropriation by Israel. Over 50 families face losing their land and their homes as action is taken to complete the separation/security wall across the territory of the district of Bethlehem. We pray for them tonight.’
‘Particularly heavily’? Can you in all sincerity say that your singling out of events in Beit Jala merits that use of ‘particularly’? A difficult and misunderstood situation for some people becomes a paradigm for the shadow enveloping mankind? Of all the people in the world, you single out 50 Christian families in Beit Jala and expect those who hear you to recoil, cut to the heart by the horrors of that situation. You speak as if the world had no greater shadow to offer. Thousands have died and are dying in neighbouring Syria, but that gets no mention from you. An entire population is repressed and religious minorities are persecuted in Iran and you say nothing. Muslims who convert to Christianity in Pakistan, Afghanistan and elsewhere are put to death, yet you are silent. In Egypt, Coptic Christians are killed and persecuted and their churches are destroyed, yet you cannot find a sentence in which to condemn it. Christians are not allowed to possess Bibles or to worship or seek converts in Saudi Arabia, yet your voice is not raised. Christians are murdered and their churches burned to the ground in Nigeria, but I do not hear your voice. Yet Muslims are free to worship, open schools, have their own courts, and missionize in every Western country, yet you do not point out the anomaly.
Instead, it is the predictable condemnation of one of the world’s most democratic, liberal, and tolerant states that occupies your thoughts. You speak of a ‘separation/security wall’ without irony. Overall, this barrier is not a wall, it is a fence: it will be about 500 miles long when finished, and only about 3 percent of it will be a wall or is a wall now. There are very cogent reasons why some sections are built from concrete and are very high, unlike the rest, which is primarily chain-link fence. When the second intifada erupted in 2000, gunmen belonging to Fatah Tanzim squads went into mainly Christian houses in Beit Jala and used them as strategic points from which to fire into the Jewish civilian enclave of Gilo, a mere 800 meters away. They fired at first with Kalashnikovs and stolen M16s, then with heavy machine guns. The battles fought in Beit Jala, together with the return fire the Fatah shooting provoked, caused great difficulties for the Christians of the town, who wanted to stay apart from the Muslim-centred violence, whereas the Muslims of the Tanzim wanted to attract return fire into Christian properties. Not surprisingly, the Christian residents tried to force these terrorists (many of whom were from outside Beit Jala) outside their homes. In retaliation, the gunmen beat Christians badly. Christian women were harassed by Muslim men from a nearby village, Beit Awwad......
............Your fifty families – if, indeed, there are fifty families – will, at worst, face a legal battle, knowing they will be vindicated if their claims are valid. Israel will not set their homes alight, nor gun them down, nor desecrate their churches nor violate their priests nor execute their converts. It will not do to them what the Muslims of Egypt have done in a long and systematic persecution. It will not do to them what the Taliban have done to Christians in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It will not intimidate or hector or torture or kill them. It’s time this was recognized, especially by a leading churchman like yourself.............

Female boxers in Afghanistan ?
Good going. Hope many more take up boxing to defend themselves from the "honor" killers in their own families and to punch out the daylights from the murdering Taliban.
Teenage Afghan sisters Shabnam and Sadaf Rahimi are taking the fight for women’s rights more literally than most of their peers, throwing punches in a ring as members of their country’s first team of female boxers.
They practise inside a spartan gym with broken mirrors, flaking paint, four punching bags and a concrete floor padded with faded pink and green mats. Some girls wear face masks to keep out dust coming up from the floor........

Iranian Irrationality
If only Obama and the witch Hillary had backed the uprising in Iran in 2010. This is one muslim country where real democracy might have taken root if the secular folks there were given a chance to get rid of the blasted mullahs and the khomesomething shits. Obama did not help them because he and his witch are slaves to their sunni master the king of Saudi Arabia. Whatever steps the Obama administration takes, those steps have to be first approved by Saudi Arabia.
...In accordance with Iranian doctrine, the article pointed out that these weapons would actually not be necessary because there would be suicide operations, and added that "the faith of the Iranian youth, and their eagerness to sacrifice their lives, will sap the enemies' courage."
Despite statements by Iranian government spokesmen, including Oil Minister Rostam Qasemi and Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast, that the closing of the strait is not currently on Iran's agenda,[2] Majlis National Security Committee member Pervez Sarouri said that the Iran would be conducting 10 days of naval maneuvers, called "Velayat 90," beginning December 24, 2011, to drill closing it.[3]
Kayhan editor Hossein Shariatmadari, who is close to Khamenei, called on the regime to announce immediately that Tehran would close the strait to vessels from the U.S., Europe, Japan, or any other country participating in imposing oil sanctions on Iran.[4]
At a press conference on the subject of the Velayat 90 naval maneuvers, which commenced on December 24, Iranian Navy Commander Habibollah Sayyari said that his forces would be capable of closing the strait if asked to do so.[5]
It should be noted that Iranian officials have previously threatened to close the strait as a means of deterring Iran's neighbors and the West (see previous MEMRI reports from 2010, 2008 and 2007).[6]
The following are the main points of the Mashreq News article on closing the Strait of Hormuz.[7]........

The mystery of UM Financial and the greed and taqiyyah of shariah finance crooks
Canada should never have permitted shariah finance on our shores.
The University of Toronto is on it's way to becoming fully islamized if they continue with their new course on Shariah Financing.
The Federal govt. has to look deeply into this mess happening in Ontario and introduce measures to prevent any alien financial rubbish being offered through Canadian financial institutions.
See how what was envisioned by an ordinary and insignificant blogger like myself, has come to pass.
I wish SUNTV would pick up on this sharia finance menace plaguing new muslim immigrants to Canada so they don't go blindly into these pitfalls like the 100s of families now in deep shit because they preferred to trust an entity run by one of their own taqiyyah masters.
John Goddard, writing at the TorontoStar, is following the messy saga going on in our courts:
.... On Aug. 30, he drove to Scotiabank’s main branch at King and Bay Sts., according to his court testimony.
He bought $889,695.90 (U.S.) in gold bullion, in the form of 15-kilogram bars. He then drove away and stored them at his office at 789 Don Mills Rd., near Eglinton Ave.
Three further purchases in early September led to his possession of another $978,263.64 in gold bars and at least $322,343 in silver, including 5,699 one-ounce coins.
“So by Sept. 8, you’re sitting in your office with almost $2.2 million of precious metals, correct?” lawyer Neil Rabinovitch asked, on behalf of the receiver, in a Nov. 25 examination.
“Yes,” Kalair replied.
“And again, you don’t get any extra insurance or take any additional precautions other than locking your door?”
“No,” said Kalair. “Our office has been very secure. We never had any issues and it has security at the front.”
The nighttime Rexdale drop-off came next.
Muslim cleric Panchbaya had once been chairman of UM Financial and was now claiming $2.7 million on behalf of himself and four other local clerics. The group said they had given the company free sharia guidance for several years and eventually expected to be paid.
On Sept. 19, Panchbaya incorporated the five as Multicultural Consultancy Canada Inc., or MCC, and named himself chairman. He then applied to have MCC intervene in the court case.
“You were concerned that the receivership could render the mortgages not sharia compliant, correct?” lawyer Rabinovitch asked him in court and Panchbaya agreed.....

This is how America intends safeguarding herself from terrorists ?
Laughable, to say the least.
.....According to the senior members of the intelligence community responsible for maintaining the Watchlist on a daily, real-time basis, at least 20,000 to 30,000 known terrorists on that list are actually in the United States at any one time. That leaves more than half a million people on the Watchlist who are foreigners abroad, which means that the Watchlist, — used by consular officers in visa interviews, the Transportation Security Administration in international and domestic air travel, border inspectors and the Border Patrol — is responsible for keeping out over half a million terrorists that may be seeking entry to the United States on any given day. This also means that if 10,000 U.S. citizens (including naturalized citizens) are on the Watchlist, then (at least) 10,000 to 20,000 foreign nationals associated with international terrorism are within our borders using America to work, attend school, raise families, strategize an operation, or fundraise through any variety of criminal enterprises.
This number — 10,000 to 20,000 foreign-born terrorists having successfully entered and embedded in the United States — has remained near static, as I recall, since 9/11. (Exact numbers could not be confirmed, but I was told my guesstimate was in the right ballpark.) The non-U.S. citizens run the gamut from legal permanent residents, to those who entered on a valid visa and are still within a granted length of stay, to those here illegally by either staying beyond their length of stay or having entered without inspection across our physical borders.....

A new beginning for the Catholic Church ?
After almost five centuries the Catholics and Protestants, as of now only in the USA, are thinking of letting go of their silly quarrels and petty differences and merging into one faithful body. Although, at the present time, only a few hundred Anglicans are coming into the Catholicism fold, this clearly heralds the thousands more to come. Will the Catholic Church now re-think their unholy stance on celibacy and allow marriages for those in the priesthood like the Protestants? I sure hope so. I have always thought it the height of hypocrisy that Catholic congregations expect their priests to be goody goody while they go about sinning merrily.
What other wonders not yet envisioned will come to pass in 2012?
The Vatican is set to launch a structure on Monday that will allow Anglican parishes in the United States — and their married priests to join the Catholic Church in a small but symbolically potent effort to reunite Protestants and Catholics, who split almost 500 years ago.
More than 1,300 Anglicans, including 100 Anglican priests, have applied to be part of the new body, essentially a diocese. Among them are members of St. Luke’s in Bladensburg, which this summer became the first group in the country to convert to Catholicism.
St. Luke’s and Baltimore’s Mount Calvary, which also applied to join, were part of the Episcopal Church, the official wing of American Anglicanism. But most of those joining the new structure are Anglicans who aren’t part of the Episcopal Church.
It’s unclear how many priests and their followers will ultimately convert to Catholicism. Compared with the tens of millions of Americans who identify as Catholic or Protestant, the movement is small. But it is the most tangible progress in decades for Catholic leaders, who see Catholics and Protestants as estranged siblings who should be reconciled......

2012 Predictions for the EU
Iain Murray, writing at the Spectator has some fun with predictions for the EU .... we can laugh now but these "predictions" are the logical conclusions as seen by thinking folks.
January: General happiness and optimism reign over the continent, with the Big Bazooka of the new EU fiscal compact supposedly having solved all Europe's problems forever. EU officials organize a "Two Minute Hate" directed at British Prime Minister David Cameron, to be introduced in all EU schools just after morning assembly. Cameron tells the British people he will remain firm and resolute. Five EU banks collapse, but this is dismissed as a sign that the fiscal compact is working. President Barack Obama urges the EU nations to work out their differences and stick to the euro.
February: The EU parliament votes that euroskeptic British members can only speak if they wear a silly hat and begin their speech "I am a poor deluded fool and I think…" Daniel Hannan, Nigel Farage and others proudly adopt the silly hat as their symbol and begin every speech with a quote from EU President van Rompuy. Ten more banks collapse. Portugal, Ireland, and Spain are in imminent danger of turning into Greece. This is dismissed as a sign that the fiscal compact is working. President Barack Obama urges the EU nations to work out their differences and stick to the euro.
March: The EU leaders suddenly realize that their big bazooka was firing blanks. "We need a Gross Panzerfaust!" declares Chancellor Merkel of Germany, making this the title of a new draft EU Treaty. President Sarkozy is too busy checking his latest poll figures on his blackberry to notice and signs off on the plan without reading it. Faced with exaggerated tut-tutting and snide comments in languages he doesn't understand, David Cameron decides that if Britain is to remain in the EU he had better sign the treaty. On hearing the news, London mayor Boris Johnson announces cryptically to the press, "Oh no, that won't do. That won't do at all. No no no no no no…" and wanders off. Cameron's poll numbers plummet. President Barack Obama urges the EU nations to work out their differences and stick to the euro.......

Hungary's survival instincts come to the fore
Who would have thought that one of the most insignificant members of the EU would have the courage to give the rest of the EU the middle finger and determine what's best for them, themselves. The country is adopting two controversial rules .... in their monetary system and in religions.
Right now it's somewhat of a shock to our sensibilities that a Christian country would want to adopt controversial religious laws that would give legal status to only a handful of religions and exclude recognization of Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and several other beliefs.
Actually, I got over the shock in about 20 seconds or less. Kudos to you Hungary ... well done ! Although, it's a case of throwing "the baby out with the bath water" where Buddhism and Hinduism is concerned, I for one admire Hungary's stance.
...Lawmakers passed other measures that threaten to leave the country isolated, including a law on religion that lowers the number of recognized religions in Hungary to 14 from more than 300.
These include the Catholic, Reformed, Evangelical, and Orthodox Churches as well as Judaism.
Faiths not included in the bill -- including all Islamic, Buddhist, and Hindu congregations -- will have the opportunity to apply for recognition in parliament if they have been operating for at least 20 years in the country.
But they will need to obtain approval from at least two-thirds of MPs for the recognition in order to receive state subsidies......
