Phyllis Chesler to hackers: "Thank You"

Ms Chesler has an update to the article below which says:
As of today, June 20, Facebook has removed the fake account. I want to thank all of my supporters who helped in bringing this page down.

A number of prominent anti-Jihadists were all hacked last night. I am proud to be among them. I am not “naming names.” But here is the story.

Someone copied my photo and set up a new Facebook account in the name of another anti-jihadist, Pakistani-Canadian, Tahir Aslam Gora, in the hope that I would report Gora to Facebook and to the police. Meanwhile, the fake “Phyllis Chesler” began contacting all my real Facebook friends under the name of “Fatai Chesler.” Many were savvy enough to ask this unknown entity what books I had written or where I was born. His fake bio for me placed me in Toronto.

I definitely do not live in Toronto.

Tahir Aslam Gora (the real one) is a novelist and poet, the founder of the Canadian Thinkers’ Forum and the Muslim Committee Against Anti-Semitism.

He’s a “lantsman,” a colleague, an ally, one of the brave ones—although he is someone I have yet to meet. Please allow me to thank the hacker for introducing us. But why did he (or she) do so at this moment in time?

I can only guess. For a decade, I have been writing about Islamic gender and religious apartheid, anti-Semitism, Islamism, Jihad, terrorism, Jew hatred, Israel, and the misuse of language to incite hatred against infidels, honor killings, honor-based violence, and Muslim-on-Muslim violence.

But last night I wrote a few paragraphs at my Facebook page. I did not write a long piece, but it may have been just enough to get someone’s attention.

Last night, I saw the New York screening of counter-terrorism expert Steve Emerson’s film “Jihad in America: The Grand Deception.”

It is a sobering, even stunning film about the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) in our country, also known as the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the Islamic Society of North America, the Muslim Student Association, Students for Justice in Palestine, etc.; as Hamas in Gaza; Hezbollah in Lebanon, Syria, and Iran; and that the MB may be the template for Al-Qaeda and for all such jihadist Sharia-oriented groups who dream of a global Caliphate.......

IMO, the hackers probably  were livid at  Canadian-Muslim  Tahir Aslam Gora  because they expect all Muslims to be Jew haters and they were not expecting him to vigorously condemn an anti-semitic attack on a Canadian-Jewish home.
This is what he had said on a marketwire news release:

The Muslim Committee Against Anti-Semitism Urges Police to Seriously Respond to Hate Crime in Toronto
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 18, 2013) - The Muslim Committee Against anti-Semitism (MCAAS) was shocked to learn Friday that a Jewish family in North York found their garage side-door covered in swastikas and hate language. Even worse, the threat: "Watch Your Children" was later found inside the garage with more Nazi graffiti.

"Progressive Muslims wish to show their solidarity with the targeted family and with the Jewish community. We stand with them against anti-Semitism" said. Tahir Gora, Director of MCAAS and the Progressive Muslims Institute of Canada (PMIC).

Mr. Gora personally called the mother of the family (who wishes to remain anonymous) on Monday.
"It meant a lot to me that he called" said the mother. "Mr. Gora said that they (MCAAS) supports us and recognizes this as a hate crime. He also said that they are committed to doing whatever they can in order to stop (the perpetrators) and we appreciate all this very much."

Asma Mahmood, Secretary General of PMIC urged Toronto Police to take this matter very seriously and bring the culprits to justice under the appropriate hate crime or other charges.
"This is a time to fight all sorts of bigotry together", added Asma Mahmood.....

Phyllis Chesler: A CautionaryTale

Phyllis Chesler writing at PJMedia:

...Like many others who were carefully selected, I, too, recently received a very shocking email from one Arsalan Akhtar (arsalan.akhtar21@gmail.com). He accused a rather distinguished Pakistani public figure of having honor killed his daughter. The email also claimed that the Pakistani media had covered this killing up at the request of very high government officials. I immediately tried to contact Arsalan Akhtar, but to no avail.

Many bloggers (who shall remain nameless) reproduced this email without confirming whether it was true or not.

Given what we know about Pakistan the entire episode seems entirely possible. Pakistan is a very dangerous place for women. Daughter and wife beatings are normalized, not criminalized. Acid is thrown right into the faces of young girls and wives who are seen as even slightly “disobedient.” Recently, an exceptionally beautiful Pakistani wife who had suffered this awful fate finally killed herself. She had endured over three dozen plastic surgeries on her face in Italy. Her suffering was simply too great. The fiend who did this to her was her husband and because he comes from a rich and powerful family, he has never been charged. Pakistan is a place where anything terrible can and probably has happened.

It is difficult to accurately estimate the number of honor killings that take place in Pakistan as the vast majority are believed to go unreported. In 2010, according to the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, 800 women were killed for honor in Pakistan. This figure likely represents only the tip of the iceberg.

According to the Aurat Foundation, a Pakistani human rights organization: “At least 675 Pakistani women and girls were murdered during the first nine months of the calendar year 2011 for allegedly defaming their family’s honor.” Almost 77 percent of such honor cases ended in acquittals.......

Phyllis Chesler and Passover Miracles

Stay strong Israel. We have faith in you.

We are living at a time in history when the demonization of the Jews and of the Jewish state has become a fait accompli. The Big Lies have been internationalized and legalized; the poisonous propaganda has begun its real work as Jewish blood flows in the streets and the world's heart remains indifferent or worse--joyous.

But, we are also living in an era of unending miracles.

Remember when five Arab armies attacked the tiny Jewish state—and lost?

Remember when they tried it again in 1967—and lost?

Remember how they attacked us in 1973 and despite heavy casualties, Israel triumphed and our enemies lost?

Remember the siege of bombings, airplane hijackings, and terror attacks that Arafat planned and executed? He is dead but the security fence and the Jewish state are still standing.

Remember how Saddam Hussein rained SCUD missiles down on Israel but, except for one poor man who had a heart attack, there were no mass casualties? Saddam is dead, the Jewish state is standing still.

What about the rescue of little Moshe Hertzberg in the midst of the Mumbai massacre? How are we to understand how or why his Indian nurse seized courage with both hands and made a successful escape?

Recall the Mavi Marmara flotilla of assassins—they did damage but they did not get through.

Remember the human "surge" last year across Israel's borders—it failed........

Phyllis Chesler on what went down on March 14 at the JCC in Manhattan

In my opinion, the Bush family and the Clinton family ... have wrought more harm on America than anyone else ... including Obama.

There no stopping these disastrous two dynasties from inflicting even more harm on a great nation like the USA ... as we can see from the recent moves of the Clinton's offspring. She might have been just the moderator at this event, but knowing her parents like we do by now, we know where her sympathies lie.

Moderated by former first daughter Chelsea Clinton, the panelists included Rabbi Marc Schneier, co-founder of the Foundation For Ethnic Understanding, which fosters “twinning” programs between mosques and synagogues and Imam Shamsi-Ali, the spiritual leader of the Islamic Cultural Center of New York and the chairman of the Al-Hikmah mosque in Astoria.

Holding aloft signs and banners reading “What Are Muslims Doing for Peace???”, “Burning Churches, Honor Murdering Women. Where is the Muslim Protest?”, “Sharia Equals Death”, “Since 9/11, Radical Islamists Committed 11,961 Attacks, Killed 75,038, Injured 115,255”, “Wake Up! Islam's Goal: Destruction of Our Way of Life”, “Stop Billions of Saudi Oil Monet Funding Worldwide Radical Islamic Intolerance and Terror”, “The Right of Jews to a Jewish State in Israel,” “The Right of Muslims to Convert to Other Religions,” the protestors took aim at what they perceived to be the hypocrisy that this event represented.

Narain Kataria, the President of the Indian American Intellectual Forum, declared, “We should not be talking about Islamophobia but about whether Islam is a religion of peace. This should be debated all over the country. We Hindus have suffered at the hands of radical Islamists. I believe that somehow the organizers of the conference on Islamophobia have been either heavily funded or misguided by Muslim organizations into believing that Islam if the religion of peace.”............

Phyllis Chesler on the AILC and anti-Islamist Muslim voices

Update from March 7, 2012: The media was there in droves: CNN, FOX, the New York Times, ABC, AP, Newsday, and, of course, PJMedia. They quoted the speeches and interviewed the American Islamic Leadership Coalition (AILC) speakers. They also interviewed anyone who was standing at 1 Police Plaza. A reporter from The American Thinker even interviewed and photographed me (!) without my knowing it.

Thus, one of the Muslim citizens present, who is not a member of AILC, and who was not speaking for them, was nevertheless photographed and interviewed by some media. Queens Imam Qazi Qayyoom was interviewed by ABC News. He is quoted as saying that "he believes that the NYPD is keeping his community safe, and if that means some Muslims are monitored, so be it."........

.....Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, a former Navy physician and a religious Muslim who founded AILC in 2010, said that his group felt compelled to come here "to support the NYPD, given the relentless and unfair pummeling they have endured by Islamist groups." He insisted: "We, as Muslims, should be monitoring extremism," not "grievance mongering." Dr. Jasser pointed out that "80 percent of terrorist arrests are of Muslims. We are only 1% of the population." He suggested that "Muslims start taking responsibility instead of charging 'Islamophobia.'"........

Muslim crimes of murder in Canada

Phyllis Chesler talks about her interview with SunTV's Coren on the topic of "honor" killings.

.... I should have congratulated Canada for prosecuting both the actual perpetrators and the collaborators in the Shafia Honor Killing. However, the 25 years without parole sentence for the murder of the four Muslim female victims only amounts to 6 1/2 years for each victim. Not good enough. (Am I this bloodthirsty?)

I should also have congratulated Canada for, after twelve years, and a complex legal battle, now being ready to extradite Malkit Kaur Sidhu, the heartless Sikh-Canadian mother who had her daughter brutally murdered abroad because the young woman had dared to marry a social inferior.

Canada did not try Aqsa Parvez's mother who lured her daughter home from a protective shelter. The United States did not try the Said sisters' mother who also lured her girls home to certain death at their father's hand in Irving, Texas. Nor did the US try Noor Almaleki's mother who helped her husband flee. It should have done so. These mothers are all accessories to murder.

Host Michael Coren (an excellent interviewer), gave me the opportunity to "own" my own research. He noted that 91% of honor killings in the West are perpetrated by Muslims. And, said I, that statistic is mine, I reported that precise percentage in my 2010 study published at Middle East Quarterly.

I quickly pointed out that Hindus and Sikhs do commit honor killings as well but they do so mainly in India; Hindu immigrants do not conduct themselves this way in the West. For nearly two years now, various people have used that particular statistic without noting where it came from.....

The Left trying desperately to destroy Ayaan Hirsi Ali ....

but we have become pretty wise to their tricks and taqiyyah. The more hopping mad they get with a person, the more we can be assured that such a person is an asset and fighting on our behalf.  Let's wish more power to Ayaan Hirsi Ali.

Phyllis Chesler at PJMedia: ....Thus, I am not at all surprised to see that Deborah Scroggins has just written a book titled Wanted Women: Faith, Lies, and the War on Terror: The Lives of Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Aafiya Siddiqui. Truly, she has got to be kidding. Alas, I am afraid that she is serious.

Recently, the New York Times gave a relatively glowing review to this new work. According to critic Dwight Garner, the two women are “such opposites that, as the author memorably observes, ‘Like the bikini and the burka or the virgin and the whore, you couldn’t quite understand one without understanding the other.’”

Garner continues: “If you are wondering who is the bikini (and thus the whore) in that formulation, Ms. Scroggins leaves little doubt that it is Ms. Hirsi Ali, whom her book relentlessly attacks.”

Hirsi Ali is indeed “wanted”— but by misogynist Islamists whom she exposes and opposes. Siddiqui, “Lady Al Qaeda,” was indeed “wanted” and is now in prison for attempting to kill American soldiers in Afghanistan for al-Qaeda. In 2003, the FBI “named her as the only known female operative of al-Qaeda.” In 2010, Siddiqui, a devout Muslim and a Brandeis-educated Pakistani, was sentenced to 86 years in jail...........

A less than perfect justice for the horror killings?

Many seem to think so.  And, many of us agree with those who think so.

....Although I myself initially hailed this as possibly a turning point in Canada in terms of the nation’s failed multicultural policy, I now wonder why the life sentence, which in Canada means 25 years without parole, was not 25 years without parole for each life coldly snuffed out......

Phyllis Chesler takes on the NY Times

The death rattles from the dying New York Times are still full of venom against infidel culture. This despicable machine needs a mighty choking that will break it's windpipe once and for all.  What a traitorous entity the Grey Lady has turned out to be !  Ugh.

On a single day, the New York Times has been known to publish anywhere from two to six anti-Israel articles, editorials, op-ed pieces, and letters. Today, I see a new danger arising in their pages.

After spending a year proclaiming the triumph of democracy and the miracle of the Arab Spring and, as PM Netanyahu has just noted, refusing to document the existential danger in which Israel finds herself, the Newspaper of Record has now begun the process of normalizing Islam in North America and Europe. Its pro-Muslim "multicultural" agenda is, paradoxically, another form of racism, but I quibble.

Yesterday, there were at least three articles (3,200 words, four photos, one illustration), devoted to Islam in America and Europe. A 934-word op-ed article titled "How to Integrate Europe's Muslims" by a Boston College professor is a veritable manifesto of appeasement and racism disguised as a rational call for integration and fairness. Jonathan Laurence suggests that Muslims will be "integrated" into Europe if they are allowed to study Islam at state-sponsored schools, continue their Muslim religious practices, veil women, speak Arabic, Persian, Dari, etc. In his view, this will fend off "fundamentalism" and magically lead to reciprocity in terms of tolerance towards infidels and apostates and to the abolition of Islamic gender and religious apartheid.

According to Canadian professor and author, Dr. Salim Mansur, multiculturalism and the appeasement of tribalism defeats the possibility of citizenship and amounts to a form of "soft bigotry." As Pascal Bruckner has phrased it: "Multiculturalism is the racism of the anti-racists; it chains people to their roots." Immigrants are kept confined to their "group" and not encouraged or expected to become "individuals" and "citizens" of a modern democracy.......

Two peoples having a lot in common .... Jews and Hindus build a Passage to India

Phyllis Chesler is one of a kind.  It's so refreshing to read clear and logical thoughts in a way only the very few are capable of doing.  She is one of them.

On January 8, 2012, I delivered a rather passionate speech in Pune, India via skype. I was invited to do so by "Youth 4 Panun Kashmir." The organizers were especially interested in my drawing parallels between Israel and India, Jews and Hindus both of whom have, historically, been genocidally exterminated and driven out of their holy places.

I was approached to speak partly because I have written about Islamic terrorism in India before and partly because I recently took up the case of Dr. Subramanian Swamy, an Indian political leader and economist, who was wrongfully dismissed by Harvard after twenty years for daring to take a "controversial" stand against Islamic terrorism in India.

Here is part of what I said. I think it will be of interest to the readers of Israel National News and perhaps to Israeli diplomats who are in touch with their counterparts in India, because Dr. Swamy was the highest ranking Indian leader to first visit Israel in the early 1980s. His visits led to the establishment of an Indian Embassy and an Israeli Embassy in Israel and India.....

Female nudity as a "up yours" to Islam ?

If muslima exhibitionists can take up the call to tell islamists, in their own nudist verbage, that they should be bound and gagged and thrown into loony bins for keeps ..... then yeah ... why not let the exhibitionists show their all?  Personally, I look down on any person who is reduced to showing their nakedness for gaining attention or earning their keep, but if their actions are driving the loonies more loonier .... then it works for me.  So.... carry on ladies !!  Strip away.

Phyllis Chesler at PJMediaShould she wear a burqa — or should she wear very short skirts and a low-cut blouse?

Should she wear a headscarf and a shapeless, floor-length garment — or should she pose naked for Playboy magazine?

Do either of these extremes exemplify free as opposed to forced choices? Is either clothing extreme an expression of independence, resistance, or individuality?

In the last year, three Muslim women have posed nude or nearly nude in the media....

Phyllis Chesler explains Gingrich's "invented Palestinians" statement

....For many millennia, the entire Middle East was only pagan, Jewish, Roman, Greek, and Christian. Islam itself only arose in the 7th century CE and Muslims thereafter conquered and colonized the Middle East and central Asia. Islamic genocide, imperialism, colonialism, forced conversions, slavery, anti-black racism, and both gender and religious apartheid characterized the Arab Muslim "takeover" of the region.

Perhaps as early as 1920, perhaps as late as the 1930s—or even the late 1960s, a decision was made about how to fight an infidel Jewish presence in the Middle East. Arabs who were formerly south Syrians, Egyptians, and Jordanians, or who were wandering Bedu, increasingly claimed a historical and religious presence in the Judaeo-Christian Holy Land.

It was a political and propaganda tactic, one which the United Nations, the world media, the professoriate, and the European Union has most ignobly aided and abetted.....

The Mr. Hyde and Mr. Hyde identity of Sweden .... Dr.Jekyll no longer in the picture

Sweden loves muslim terrorists to distraction and  they hate Muslim peace lovers like the plague.  All is good and dandy in the land of Sweden.

Phyllis Chesler shows the two sides of Sweden ... both evil.

The Girl with Three Legs

Phyllis Chesler's fascinating read about Soraya MirĂ©, a Somali woman with relatives in Canada who want to do her harm if she ever enters this country. It's a sad tale of  FGM performed on  young women by their own mothers and other females. I have added two books mentioned in the article to my reading list. One is Phyllis Chesler's Woman's Inhumanity to Woman and Soraya MirĂ©'s The Girl with Three Legs

Soraya MirĂ© is a beautiful and talented Somali feminist, a filmmaker, and the author of a new and daring memoir titled The Girl With Three Legs. Soraya lives in Los Angeles and she has the Hollywood-speak down pat. Everyone is “darling,” and “honey,” things are “awesome.” But, through it all, one can still see the Somali African in her. She greets people on the street, cafĂ© waiters—mere strangers—with warmth and humor, with an easy familiarity, just as if they were clan or tribal members. “What a funny dog! And how are you today?” She wears a strong Biblical fragrance: Frank Incense, a “spiritual body oil,” which I imagine the Queen of Sheba might have worn on her visit with King Solomon. She keeps her main stash in a jeweled, French-African perfume bottle.....

Other things that come to light in the article:
.....In the 1970s, it was forbidden for Somali women to wear the face veil. Now, it is forbidden to be naked faced. Now, we are not allowed to cook a certain kind of dish because, when it is prepared and served, it looks like a Star of David. Now, Somali women are not allowed to wear a bra. But for the last six months, al-Shabab have been feeling girls and women up in the street to see if she is or isn’t wearing a bra......

Open Letter from Phyllis Chesler

Open letter from Phyllis Chesler which is a must read.

Dear Good Liberal People Who Are Unconcerned With Occupy Wall Street’s Naked Anti-Semitism,

I am writing to you about a “contagious” and dangerous plague of “hatred” that threatens the survival of the Jews, the Jewish state, and of all civilization.

Even if you are not Jewish, even if you do not support Israel, you should see Gloria Greenfield’s Unmasked: Judeophobia. This film directly concerns you. It is the visual antidote to this false hatred, which visually through the internet, in films, in the media, emblazoned on t-shirts and signs at every rally (no matter the topic) scapegoats Jews for the world’s every sorrow. The Big Lies against the Jewish people — really, blood libels — are perpetrated and paid for by the very people who are committing the most horrifying crimes against their own people and humanity as a whole.

I’m with Nobel laureate and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel, whose words open this compelling and important film: afraid. For example, I have been told that very few Jews went uptown to confront the three day hate-fest against Israel which went on at Columbia in preparation for Israel Apartheid week. However, many New York City Jews and human rights activists of all ages are visiting or helping the Occupy Wall Street activists in Zucotti Park, perhaps an idealistic group which has unfortunately and increasingly been inundated with the hardcore Marxists who often display anti-Zionist and anti-Jewish slogans.

Wiesel never expected to see the return of anti-Semitism in his lifetime — and with such a vengeance...............
