So...what's happening in the Middle East and Ukraine? .... July 5

While governments of the Middle East are busy trying to kill terrorists,  the Ukrainian government is busy killing civilians.  And, our Western media is an accomplice in the Ukrainian govt's ongoing atrocities against its own people by throwing a blanket on  any and all news that would air the dirty laundry of our own Western governments' involvement in Ukraine.

Iraqi Govt. forces with foreign help resists terrorist army but terrorist army gains in Syria.
From CBCNews:
Iraqi government airstrikes on Friday targeted Islamic militants trying to capture the country's largest oil refinery, reportedly killing as many as 30 insurgents, authorities said.....
.......Al-Nuaman also said a helicopter gunship hit a house in the town of Qaim near the Syrian border where a gathering of ISIS' local leaders was taking place. He said there were several casualties, but did not have a concrete figure.
The militants took control of Qaim, home to a border crossing with Syria, last month during their blitz across Iraq, and now control a vast stretch of territory straddling the two countries......

The demonic entity known as RAND Corporation must be full of sociopaths and individuals with a Nazi mentality.

Once started, the hate grows and grows like poison ivy getting big doses of  Miracle Gro.  Watch out for civil war #3 or is it #4? Most of us have lost count.
From StraitTimes
.A bomb blast in a train and clashes between protesters and security forces rocked Egypt on Thursday, as police quashed demonstrations marking the anniversary of Islamist president Mohamed Mursi's ouster.
The violence came as the pro-Mursi Muslim Brotherhood-led Anti-Coup Alliance issued an aggressive rallying cry demanding a "day of anger" to mark the occasion.

Nine people were wounded when a bomb hidden in a briefcase near a passenger seat exploded inside a train compartment in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria late Thursday, security officials and state media said.

One person was killed by gunshot during clashes in a Cairo district as pro-Mursi supporters fought with police, while a policeman was killed also by gunshot when his checkpoint was torched by protesters late Thursday in the capital, security officials said.......

Very little of what's happening in Ukraine is ever mentioned in the MSM. This is a rare occurrence.
Maria Tsvetkova writing at Reuters:
Families caught in crossfire in eastern Ukraine.

When the daily shelling starts in this besieged city in eastern Ukraine, those who have not yet fled the fighting grab their children and head underground.
If there is time before running into cellars and basements, the people of Slaviansk gather chairs, clothes, water and other provisions for stays that can last for hours or, sometimes, all night.

"We live in our cellar," said Svetlana Dobrostroy, who has a six-year-old daughter and a son aged 10. "The kids get very scared. They know it's a war. They're the first to run to the cellar."
About half the 130,000 residents of Slaviansk are thought to have fled since fighters who want eastern Ukraine incorporated into Russia took control of the city in April, a month after Moscow annexed the Black Sea peninsula of Crimea.

Since then, government forces trying to end the rebellion in towns and cities across the Russian-speaking region have pounded separatist positions in and around Slaviansk.
Despite the growing danger and privation, many families with children have remained, either out of choice or because they believe they do not have the funds to get by elsewhere.
Dobrostroy has had no income since the dairy factory where she worked closed at the start of the fighting, and worries about what would become of her children in an unfamiliar place........

Karma visits Saudi Arabia.

From Reuters:
....At least six people, including a suicide bomber and two security personnel, were killed at a Saudi-Yemeni border crossing on Friday, in attacks that highlighted the threat posed by militants to the security of both nations.....
