HYPOCRISY = Dual citizenship holders of Jewish origin fighting in Israeli forces are to be lauded. BUT .....

Muslim dual citizenship holders fighting in Muslim countries, either in their "old" country's armed forces or with forces against the government in those countries,  are considered to be committing a crime that can land them in prison on terrorism charges.
However, when Jewish citizens of Western countries go off to Israel to fight in the Israeli armed forces, the media is full of praise?

We are drowning in the hypocrisy as seen emitting not only from the Jewish diaspora but from our own governments as well.

Disgusting!!!!

Katrina Clarke writing at NationalPost:
Dozens of Canadians have gone to Israel to take up arms for the Jewish state

If things had turned out differently, Orli Broer would be starting her second year at Montreal’s McGill University, spending her days studying and her nights dancing. Instead, the 19-year-old moved to Israel and joined the Israeli Defence Forces. Now, she spends her days in the West Bank and her nights with a gun under her pillow. She is one of thousands of lone soldiers, young adults from around the world who come to Israel to fight for the Jewish state. Some are Israeli citizens who grew up elsewhere, others visited on school trips and felt compelled to take up the Zionist cause. Few have close family in the country.

Of the 2,500 lone soldiers serving in the IDF, about 145 are from Canada, says the Nefesh B’Nefesh lone soldier program. Each year, 15 to 20 Canadians — men aged 18-23, women aged 18-22 — visit Israel on the Garin Tzabar program, which prepares them for active duty. Many others arrive on their own. “We want them to understand this is not a Hollywood movie,” said Yair Ran, the program’s North American director. “They are not going to be Rambo. The army is hard and complicated.” His group helps organize flights and accommodation, and holds meetings for parents. Arrangements include living together on a kibbutz, a collective community, learning Hebrew and adjusting to life in a new country. Garin Tzabar does not do any recruiting. Rather, it helps young people who are interested and makes sure they are there for the right reasons. “If someone comes to tell me that he wants to join the IDF to kill Arabs, he is not going to get inside,” Mr. Ran said. Ms. Broer says she had an “inner feeling” and wanted to give back to Israel, after a year studying at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. “A lot of Israelis are like, ‘Why would you leave Canada? It’s so easy there,’ ” she said. “They don’t get why I’m here.”.........
