Instead of being proud to be Canadians, who the bloody heck are the neighbours of Brian and Linda-Lee Cassidy? I could understand the by-laws if the couple were flying a flag of another country in Canada.... but to be chastised for flying the Canadian flag? Unthinkable !!!
When were these bylaws created and which Liberal govt in Ontario wants to take the credit for it? Was it Nanny McGuinty? I won't be surprised.
A Windsor, Ont.-area couple are fighting to keep the Maple Leaf flying over their home after the local community homeowners’ association demanded the flag be taken down for violating a neighbourhood bylaw.
Brian and Linda-Lee Cassidy have been flying the Canadian flag from the front of their garage without incident since they moved into their townhome six years ago at the Cooper’s Mill Retirement Community in Belle River, about 25 kilometres east of Windsor.......
...“It’s never been about a Canadian flag,” Mr. Chapman told the Windsor Star. “It’s been about bolting something to your home that hasn’t been authorized by the organization. He could fly the flag on his front lawn all he wants to.”.....
Oh yeah, yeah..... we believe you Mr.Chapman .... you skunk.
