I will never ever buy a Macleans magazine ever again ...

and neither will I ever read it online, not after seeing this on their cover.  There comes a time when one has to question how and who makes these kind of decisions, the decisions to put the mug of a terrorist on their cover.  Macleans have gone to the dogs.  Honestly, would you actually pay to handle this mag ?   I am reluctant to even post this pic in my blog but have to show you the proof of Maclean's depravity.  This mag is now a rag .... and might always have been, without us knowing it.  With this cover, we are now no longer in doubt.    Die Maclean's Die.

  1. I think it's absolutely brilliant and called for to declare jihad against Macleans for this abomination. Good call, Maria!

  2. Disgusting. This is the state of our media in Canada. F**king unbelievable.

  3. Audrey - thank you kindly. Let's meet at the doorway of Macleans on Monday. You won't have to carry a placard saying "Take Me Khadr, I pant for you" because I got a knack for smelling out empty headed lefties like you.

  4. I'll have to read the article to discover which MacLeans decided Omar is,"Lethal Jihadist" or "Model Citizen".

I'd bet money on the latter.

But don't worry,I won't buy a magazine,I'll go to the public library and see if they have one I can read.

  5. You guys get upset too easily. Macleans does provocative covers all the time. It's one of the reason they are one of the only successful Canadian magazines.

Remember their "why Israel can't survive" cover? But they are hardly anti-Israel. And who else gives Steyn a mainstream voice in Canada.

Get over yourself. Seriously. Shrieking reactions like this give conservatism a bad name.

  6. Mikhael - having a terrorist's mug on the cover of the mag is in bad taste, there's no other way to look at it. Next, you can expect to see a coveer sporting a family pic of the entire Khadr family... is that too far-fetched?

  7. Bad guys are on covers of magazines all the time. Is Khadr any worse than Russell Williams? Bernardo?

They are selling magazines. They are not promoting Jihadi activity. I am sure that 90% of the Muslim community in Canada would rather Khadr went away and was never heard from again.

But sure, go ahead, cancel Macleans. Coyne and Steyn will get attention elsewhere right? And no doubt there will be other magazines in Canada willing to stand up to Islamist blackmail in front of the Human Rights Commissions...

Go ahead. Shoot off your nose to spite your face.

  8. Mikhael - you stick to your opinion, I will stick to mine.
And, Steyn does not need Macleans to get attention.... whatever gave you that idea?

Any mag putting up a glossy photograph of a killer on their magazine cover is nothing but a rag and that's that !!!
