Stuff worth looking at

1) Phyllis Chesler on feminist politics. ....What kind of feminism does Abu-Lughod represent? She is a post-colonial, postmodern, cultural relativist, a professor of anthropology and women's and gender studies who does not believe in universal standards of human rights. However, her allegedly feminist work primarily serves the cause of one nationalism only -- Palestinian -- and of one tradition only -- Islam/Islamism.....

2) Moslems, Hindus and Sikhs need to be hauled up on the hottest coals possible by UN Human Rights. Are they ever going to do it or are they going to sidle sideways like dirty little crabs. The UN Human Rights have the gall to berate countries like the USA and Canada about native tribes but got zero guts when it comes to honor killings in the moslem countries and in India. Shame on them. The UN is a totally useless entity that keeps on sucking on the collective purse of the rich nations and getting fat and bloated with their own self-importance while doing nothing of the least bit importance.

3) Saturday afternoon, November 13, the former Prime Minister and now leader of the opposition in the Parliament, Ms. Khaleda Zia, was forcefully evicted from her house by the Bangladesh Army and other members of law enforcement agencies

4) Al Qaeda deep in the profitable business of drugs and sex.

5) Dr Sowell on CNBC talking about Fed salaries
