Our ally Turkey blocks YouTube a day after court orders Twitter ban be lifted


We love dictators, don't we?   Especially the ones that do our bidding when we need their armies to invade the countries of other dictators who don't do our bidding.

YouTube has been blocked in Turkey as a newly leaked recording purportedly includes Turkey's intelligence chief discussing possible military operations in Syria with the foreign minister and the deputy head of the armed forces.

Another leaked voice recording suggests that Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan orchestrated the release of Baykal's (former Republican People's Party leader) sextape in 2010.....

 ....Turkey has moved to block access to YouTube, a day after a court ordered the suspension of a ban on Twitter, which PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan backed.

The telecoms authority (TIB) said it had taken an "administrative measure" against the site but another report suggests that talks are under way.
Some users found access blocked while others could still use the site.

Earlier, what appeared to be a leaked audio recording of Turkish officials discussing Syria appeared on YouTube.....
