I would so like to know more on this news item but knowing our cowardly news media and our intimidating police force in Canada I can wish for the truth but I know I will rarely get it.
Brampton is home to immigrants from the South East Asian communities which means a lot of Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs have made Brampton their home.

....Peel Regional Police 21 Division Criminal Investigation Unit is seeking the public’s assistance after shots were fired at a home in Brampton early Saturday morning.
At about 12:30 a.m. at a home on Pompano Place, near the Gore Road and Cottrelle Blvd. a man, who was home with his wife and two children, heard a bang at the front of his residence. After checking the area a bullet hole was found in the front window and also in the wall of his kitchen.
Peel Police have concluded that the shooter believes the family is related to an accused in a previous homicide in Peel region. Investigators say they are certain that the family is in no way related to the accused in that earlier case and that this is a case of mistaken identity.
Police fear for the safety of the family involved.........
