Would you want these women to be under the control of wahhabi demons?

If you are a critic of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Qatar, Iran and other nations that are known to degrade and belittle women  but when it comes to Syria you can still argue that these Syrian women deserve to be thrown to a cult that wants to cover up women and shackle them inside the four walls of a house, because you consider the ends justify the means ... the means of getting rid of Assad, then all I can say to you is that you are a Fucking Hypocrite and may you and the women in your family suffer a worse fate than that wished by you on these secular, independent women of Syria.

What's the commonality between contemporary dance and modern art? They both suck

When you can't paint for nuts and an elephant can draw better than you, then the genuis manipulator that you are, along with support from other manipulating "artists" in the business of selling "art works" to fools and snobs, had to come up with a brillant idea to fool the snobs.... let's hear your applause for "modern art" that looks like a soiled diaper pressed unto a canvas. The vid below is a perfect example of how snobs and fools can be exposed for the idiots that they actually are to believe that long lines, short lines, dots, circles, squares, zig-zags and wriggly worms in different colors is something that actually talks to you about feelings and more additional shit.



And, just like how the manipulating "modern art" con masters  and those who sell their works to you at "art galleries" opened with laundered money, so also you will find  people with two left feet who can't dance for nuts but can flay their arms about and jump around without a skipping rope and yet manage to make you believe that they are the greatest "contemporary dancers" by flayed about their arms and jumping around like dying grasshoppers . 



Our wonderful world of dumbed-down people and make believe continues to continue.  But for how long, that is the question. 

From Russia with Love .... for Argentine's economy

Tango away dear Russia and Argentina  .... you make good music together.  The first vid shows Argentina dancers, the second Russian.

What an economic blessing the sanctions on Russia have been for Argentina, Brazil, China and a horde of other nations.  How these countries and others must be wishing that the West imposes more sanctions on Russia!

I have tasted Argentinian cheeses.  They are the best ever and so also the Brazilian ones. Yummy!  And, the wines from both countries .......Divine!

The companies are in Moscow as part of the World Food Moscow exhibition.
Representatives from over 100 Argentine companies will be involved in talks in Russia to increase the export of goods by the South American country to Russia on Monday and Tuesday.

The mission includes a total of 114 firms in sectors such as food and beverage, goods and services, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, bovine genetics, technology for cooling and freezing of meat and agricultural machinery. 



The business meeting is part of the Program for Growth and Diversification of Exports (Padex) which aims at increasing Argentine exports.

In late August, Russian Agriculture Minister Nikolai Fyodorov, said Russia is ready to increase imports of meat and fruits from Argentina to replace the products that the United States and its Western allies have embargoed. Moscow has also banned many products coming from the West in retaliation, which has the possibility of creating a shortage that they will look to rectify by buying from other nations.

Talking about trade with Russia, Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich said last month that, "A path has been opened, a window of opportunity for nearly $18 billion.”......

We were cheated out of an additional Gold

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir are nicely brought up individuals, kudos to their parents.  They don't  show their disappointment in losing 1st place but many Canadians saw the injustice done to them by the skating judges.  I hate judge-dependent sports.

Team Canada: Kevin Reynolds secures Silver in Men's Free Figure Skating event

Almost flawless performance from the 21-yr old from Vancouver.

....Vancouver’s Kevin Reynolds   struggled with skate problems that forced him to miss most of the figure skating season.

Yet he had little trouble in securing an Olympic silver medal for Canada Sunday at the Iceberg Skating Palace in Sochi with the most important performance of his life.

As it currently stands, Russia leads the overall team event with 67 points, and have clinched the gold medal. Canada is second with 56 points and continue to lead the U.S., which is third with 50 points....

Final tally to determine winners will be a couple of days from now. Kirsten had two teeny tiny mishaps, hardly noticeable, but they probably cost them the top place in today's event.

Canada remains 2nd to Russia in team event.
Kirsten Moore-Towers and Dylan Moscovitch kept Canada in strong Olympic medal contention for figure skating’s team event Saturday.



The Canadian pairs duo finished second in the team event free skate with a solid long program, posting a score of 129.74.
Russians Ksenia Stolbova and Fedor Klimov won the event with a score of 135.09.
Italy’s Stefania Berton and Ondrej Hotarek (120.82) were third.
Overall, Russia continues to lead the team event with 47 points. Canada stands second with 41 points, while the U.S., sits third with 34 points.
The team event concludes Sunday where the men's, women's and ice dance free skates will determined the medallists........

Canada's Figure Skaters in the 2014 Olympics

I will be watching and cheering.  When we first arrived in Canada as new immigrants, watching figure skating on TV was our weekends' most favorite time.

Canada's Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford    skated into second place following the pairs short program of the inaugural figure skating team event Thursday in Sochi, Russia.

The Canadians finished with a score of 73.10, using precision timing and solid jumping.
"I think that was the greatest feeling," said Duhamel, "It's not the points, it's not the winning, it's not Canada winning a medal.
"To perform like that and finish our program with that feeling we had, it's every athlete's dream here in Sochi and at any Olympics, and we just did it, we just lived the ultimate moment of every athlete in the world.".......

Dancing as a Resistance Movement to stop Islamization of Tunisia

Further to the video posted yesterday,  I have now learnt that Tunisia's wonderfully bright, talented, courageous young freedom fighters are resisting the takeover of their country by mad wahhabism exported there by Saudi Arabia and Qatar by starting a Dancing as Resistance movement all over Tunisia.

We all have hope as long as the young generation in Tunisia  and everywhere else in the Muslim world learns to fight and never give up on their personal freedom....no matter what !!

I sincerely hope our media in the West will pick up on this initiative by these youngsters and help make this wonderful movement take over the entire Muslim world like a tidal wave.  Won't this be better than the false revolutions we have seen of late ?

....Dancing as resistance.    With the assassination of Chokri Belaid, violence has returned to the streets of Tunis. Conservative Islamist forces target artistic freedom. But an initiative of young Tunisians now reclaims the streets. Their weapon is dance.

The pictures are reminiscent of the images that the world saw two years ago: angry protesters in the centre of Tunis, the police fighting them with tear gas, young men throwing stones. The struggle for power continues, Tunisia’s future is again uncertain. The murder of the secular politician Chokri Belaid shocked the country and brought back the violence into the country’s streets. With the renewed uncertainty, the fear is back: secular Tunisians, but also moderate Muslims worry about the growing influence of Islamists. Not only has the Ennahdha party unsettled citizens. Since the fall of Ben Ali two years ago, the Salafists have become a visible part of Tunisia. The religious extremists do not hesitate to show Tunisians their own boundaries of the permissible. One of the most important targets is art.



Bahri Ben Yahmed saw first-hand how they seek to limit artistic freedom. In March 2012, the choreographer and dancer was performing together with members of the Tunisian dance project “Art Solution” on Avenue Habib Bourguiba, when Islamists appeared and interrupted the performance. “Go inside your theaters, the streets do not belong to you anymore!” they shouted. A dramatic experience for the young artists, remembers Ben Yahmed: “We realized that we had to start fighting for the place of artists in public space. Those extremists threaten freedom.”

Ben Yahmed and his dancers also started discussing the role of art in post-revolutionary Tunisia. “The Tunisian society today is insecure and pessimistic. The desire for security is high, and many Tunisians paid a high price for security: they lose their dignity, their freedom and their joy of life.” The lower the social class, the more difficult is the access to art, adds Ben Yahmed. “But arts should not be a luxury,” says the 35-year-old dancer and choreographer, “every citizen has the right to have access to art.” With these reflections in mind, the idea of the project “Danseurs Citoyens” was born............
