This is ART ... not bananas duck-taped to boards with lunatics buying such for 100s of 1000s ......


has anyone done any in depth research on how the kind of stuff  "artists" sell for Millions of $ssss first came on the scene of something such scammers hilariously called "ART" ?   Come on people .... you know even elephants, monkeys and your pets and 2 year kids can do this wiggly wormy shit, yet you are in awe of these charlatans and their enablers ("art" gallery owners) when they sell these pieces of garbage for  all those big sums.  Why are you deceiving yourselves??????  

The pic below is of the painting "Adoration of the Magi" by Gentile da Fabriano.  That theme was very common and the Uffizi Museum in Florence is full of such scenes from hundreds of other renowned artists of those days.  One even better than the last. 

This is Art.  This is Art by Christian men and women. There were priests and nuns also taking up painting and each and EVERY church in Italy, France and Spain has the kind of paintings and frescos that the modern menace of "artists" will never be able to hold a candle to.  Somebody somewhere is hellbent to make mankind forget how powerfully talented and inspiring were the Christians of those days.  This required talent of the right kind.  This did not require the artist to be a conman and be in cohoots  with dark forces to pull wool over the eyes of the beholders to make the beholders think they were looking at something done by a talented somebody ...the only talent such crooks have is the ability to be crooked with a straight face. 

I am not at all a religious person... at times far from it.  However, I am in awe of  all the religious themes that the artists of old gave our planet... and thus I cannot stand to look at rubbish put before our eyes to insult our intellect.

What brought this rage on?  Google or DuckDuckGo "Banana  duck-taped sold for $120,000" and you will know why.

This large tempera on wood, also called Pala Strozzi, was painted in 1423 by renowned artist Gentile da Fabriano, at that time much sought after. The work was commissioned by a wealthy banker and intellectual Palla Strozzi for the family chapel in the church of Santa Trinita.
This is one of the greatest masterpieces of international gothic style, with its elegant and fairy tale atmosphere and figures in sophisticated poses.
The Adoration of the Magi theme was common since it allowed to hint at the economic prosperity and cultural superiority of who commissioned the work.
The procession of the Magi fills the whole composition and is a chance to flaunt plushy clothes and golden decorations. Behind the three Magi we can recognize the portrait of Palla Strozzi in the man with the falcon.
The sumptuous clothes of the characters, the refined harnesses of the horses, the description of the landscape and the even more magnificent carved wood frame make this work a veritable masterpiece.

Mexico .... The murals of Diego Rivera in the National Palace, Mexico City


Time constraints did not allow us to visit all the main venues showing off the Rivera murals, however, the ones we saw were very satisfying and we came away knowing why Diego Rivera is known as one of the greatest muralists ever. The details in his murals are so vivid and each little area seems to be loaded with a  tome of  Mexican history,  pre-colonial, during and after.  Simply wonderful!

David Dees' "The Sheeple" edition of the Occult ceremony at the opening of the Gotthard Base Tunnel



If you haven't heard of what went down at the gathering of the powers-that-be, read the following from a blogger who believes in the importance of symbols, as do I.

Attended by Europe’s most powerful people, the opening ceremony of the Gotthard Base Tunnel in Switzerland was a dark, disturbing, weirdly satanic ritual. Here’s a look at another celebration of the occult elite.

Measuring over 57 km and costing over 11 billion Euros, the Gotthard Base Tunnel is world’s longest and most expensive tunneling project in History. Going through the Swiss Alps, the tunnel took 17 years to complete and is said to be a symbol of European unification in a context of rising nationalism and closing borders.

To celebrate the inauguration of this tunnel, an elaborate ceremony was presented in front of European dignitaries such as Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, President Francois Hollande of France and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. While most would expect an up-beat, celebratory ceremony, guests were rather treated to a disturbing show orchestrated by German director Volker Hesse, where a man dressed as a goat presided a strange ritual.....

Amazing floor mosaics discovered in Turkey


The mosaics were discovered in what used to be an ancient Greek city.

Mosaics Revealed at Ancient Greek City Mosaics Revealed at Ancient Greek City of Zeugma in Turkey 
Archaeologists discovered three unique mosaics at the Ancient Greek city of Zeugma, in south Turkey, near the borders of Syria.

 The ancient city of Zeugma was originally founded as a Greek settlement by Seleucus I Nicator, one of the generals of Alexander the Great, in 300 BC. The population of the city at its peak was approximately 80,000 inhabitants.

 Zeugma is 80 percent underwater, after it was flooded with the waters of a nearby artificial lake.
The mosaics, which were recovered in excellent condition, belong to the 2nd century B.C.

 The first mosaic depicts the nine Muses in portraits. This mosaic was originally in a large room of a house that archaeologists have named “House of Muses.” In the center of the mosaic is Muse Calliope and she is surrounded by her sisters. According to ancient Greek poet Isiodos, Calliope was the greatest and finest of the nine Muses, the protector of Epic poetry and arts. .....

Calling Tom Crist ... lottery winner who's giving away $40M prize


How about sending a  nice big donation to a worthy cause .... The Mouth and Feet Painters of Canada would welcome your generosity. 

 I often dream of winning big and being generous to this group.  I am hoping  the big winner in Calgary will look their way .... in a big, big way.  I believe most of his winnings are going to the Cancer Society,  but hopefully he will kept a percentage aside to better the lot of other worthy causes.
