I am of the opinion, this is it. They will keep it in place for maybe forever. I feel I am over the hill now to try and migrate to anywhere else, but I am advising the young ones in my family to look elsewhere. This is no country for bringing up children of their own. If you look up standard and cost of living in many of the Red states (Red for now anyway) the properties are far more affordable than in the major cities of Canada. Uprooting from one country to another is difficult, but there comes a time when you feel it in your guts that you HAVE TO get away.
