Offsprings in the offing within a year ... that's usually the case with loving married couples, isn't it?  I wish them good luck and a long and happy married life.  What God has joined together, let America not tear asunder.

Can anyone see the irony in what's happening?  China and Russia, who are supposed to be God-less nations, are the two nations trying  to avoid wars and bloodshed and instead uplift people of their lands from poverty, whereas; those who have plenty of churches in every nook and corner of their lands, want to blow living souls into red watery messes.

From EnglishItarTass:
....Russia and China intend to confront interference in domestic affairs of other countries and urge to give up unilateral sanctions, the leaders of the two countries said in a joint statement upon results of talks between Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping in the Chinese city of Shanghai on Tuesday.
The presidents of Russia and China also called for abandoning funding or encouragement of activity aimed at changing a constitutional system of a foreign country.
“The sides noted the need to respect historical heritage of countries, their cultural traditions and independently chosen public and political system, the system of values and ways of development; counteract interference in domestic affairs of other countries, give up the language of unilateral sanctions, organize aid, fund or encourage activity aimed at changing a constitutional system of a foreign country or its involvement in any multipartite association or union,” the document noted......

....China gives Putin a diplomatic boost

..........Putin and Xi attended the signing of 49 co-operation deals in fields including energy, transport and infrastructure, but no details were given at the ceremony.
The price of gas is the sticking point in the proposed agreement between Russia’s government-controlled Gazprom and state-owned China National Petroleum Corp.
A deal has looked increasingly likely after Washington and the European Union imposed asset freezes and visa bans on dozens of Russian officials and several companies.
The deal to pipe Siberian gas to China’s northeast would help Russia diversify export routes away from Europe. It would help to ease Chinese gas shortages and heavy reliance on coal.
Putin told Chinese reporters ahead of his visit that China-Russia co-operation had reached an all-time high.
“China is our reliable friend. To expand co-operation with China is undoubtedly Russia’s diplomatic priority,” Putin said, according to the official Xinhua News Agency............

.....Cooperation of Russia’s and China’s defense ministries is an important factor for security in the region and the whole world, Russian President Vladimir Putin said after talks with China’s President Xi Jinping.
