At Dave Cullen's Computing Forever channel at You Tube, I had to search with an eagle eye for the vid linked below as it was not readily available when I tried to find it at his channel. I had watched it on BitChute but thought I could pick it up from You Tube as this my blog is on Google Blogger and perhaps it would be the decent thing to use Google-owned YouTube's product when posting in a free Google blog like mine. When I didn't find it readily, I searched with "new abnormal advertising" which was the title of his video, but You Tube slaps all other videos in my face but the one I am looking for. I then searched again with the same title, but capitalizing the three words ... and only then the mighty YouTube god of videodom and subtle and not so subtle censorship (just like Twitter's shadow blocking) brings out the real McCoy.

America’s first black presumptive secretary of defense grew up in the same town – Thomasville, GA – as the first black West Point graduate, Henry O. Flipper. I actually took select cadets from my civil rights history class to visit the southwest Georgia city on an academic trip in the summer of 2016. In fact, I vaguely remember the owner and namesake of the local Jack Hadley Black History Museum mentioning that President-elect Biden’s somewhat surprising nominee for Pentagon chief, retired General Lloyd Austin, also hailed from Thomasville. But whereas Flipper was unfairly cashiered out of the U.S. Army in the 1880s – his name finally cleared by Bill Clinton’s 1999 pardon – his fellow West Pointer, Austin, rose to nearly the highest of military heights.
I never met the guy, nor did I serve directly under him on any combat deployments. However, on the publicly available merits, he seems a decidedly successful soldier, with a solid record, and strong enough leadership reputation. Austin’s an apparently brave officer too, having been awarded the Silver Star as the assistant commander of the 3rd Infantry Division during the 2003 Iraq invasion – though, like nearly all general officers’ valor citations, his is remarkably vague compared to the strict detailed standards required for more junior soldiers (trust me, I’ve painfully written – and rewritten – a few).
He was also known to be far less of a self-promoter than many of his more overt peers – especially in that era of Petraeus PR-generalship. Austin’s been described as a “quiet general” who mostly avoided the limelight, think tank panels, and championing himself on social media. All of which is, on some levels, refreshing.....

The think tank thereby operates in circles more reminiscent of astrology, seeing patterns where there are none, and impressing their funders that a threat exists on a scale not previously thought possible. Given that the federal court in Washington, D.C., has a 100% record of guilty verdicts in espionage cases, Assange would likely spend the rest of his life in solitary confinement. In effect, it would be a lingering sentence of death. And what grave crime might fit such a punishment? The crime of publishing the truth..............

One of the most common pro-mask arguments I’ve heard over the course of the past year, both from “public health experts” and your average citizen, sounds similar to the following statement:
“If only everyone would just wear a mask, we would be able to crush the virus and end the pandemic.”
This line of reasoning is frequently espoused by lockdown governors and “public health experts.” You see, the problem isn’t them, it’s you, the citizen, we’re told. Wear a mask, peasant. You’re the problem! You’re the reason why the pandemic is still a problem in this country.

China finalised its campaign against protests in its Hong Kong territory when it expelled opposition politicians from Hong Kong’s government for endangering national security.
Following this move, opposition politicians still in office resigned in protest, leaving the territory’s government firmly pro-Beijing.
This came after a sweeping security law was passed which focused heavily on cutting foreign backing to opposition groups rioting in Hong Kong’s streets and outlawing aspirations of “independence” as a form of sedition.
With the cutting off of foreign support and the effective removal of opposition political parties supporting and driving the protests from Hong Kong’s political landscape, the prospects for another round of disruptive and violent protests is highly unlikely.

It has been more than two years since Sayragul Sautbay was released from a re-education camp in China’s westernmost region of Xinjiang. Yet the mother of two still suffers from nightmares and flashbacks from the “humiliation and violence” she endured while she was detained.
Sautbay, a medical doctor and educator who now lives in Sweden, recently published a book in which she detailed her ordeal, including witnessing beatings, alleged sexual abuse and forced sterilisation.
In a recent interview with Al Jazeera, she shed more light on other indignities to which the Uighurs and other Muslim minorities were subjected, including the consumption of pork, a meat that is strictly prohibited in Islam.
“Every Friday, we were forced to eat pork meat,” Sautbay said. “They have intentionally chosen a day that is holy for the Muslims. And if you reject it, you would get a harsh punishment.”
When I read the above I remembered that I had previously read about Sayragul Sautbay (or Sauytbay). But the story back than had sounded much different. The woman had moved from China under disputed circumstances but had never been a detainee. She had illegally entered Kazakhstan where she was put in front of a court but only got a mild sentence. Sautbay was then granted asylum in Sweden from where she propagandizes for an CIA affiliated Uighur exile group.
Over the years Sautbay has given several interviews. The details of her story continued to change in anti-Chinese directions.....

Australia has reacted with fury to a tweet from a Chinese official depicting a child being murdered by a soldier in Afghanistan. Highlighting the West’s atrocities is, it seems, still considered unacceptable.
China and Australia continue to be at loggerheads. Following the recent announcement that China would be imposing an anti-dumping tariff of up to 200 percent on Australian wine imports, Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian ignited controversy by tweeting a graphic satirical image of an Australian soldier cutting the throat of an Afghan child, a jibe relating to the country’s own inquiry into war crimes committed by troops in the Central Asian country.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison was not impressed and said Beijing should be “utterly ashamed” of the image, calling it repugnant and demanding an apology. However Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chungying defended the tweet, stating “they said the Chinese government should feel ashamed but it is Australian soldiers who committed such cruel crimes” and urging Canberra to do “some soul searching.”
A number of news outlets, including the BBC, have branded the image misinformation or “fake.” This is false. The Brereton Report itself states that young boys had their “throats slit” in specified incidents. At the time of this writing, the United States currently maintains the highest number of Covid-19 deaths and ranks 11th for the highest deaths per capita. There have been approximately 262,000 recorded Covid-19 deaths in the United States, which is certainly a concerning number.
However, a new study (link removed or site crashed but now available at Archive.org) published by Dr. Genevieve Briand at Johns Hopkins University notes some critical accounting errors done at the national level. The study – which is still being vetted – simply examines the raw data that should have been questioned months ago. The overall conclusion is that Covid-19, at least according to collected data, is not the killer disease that it is currently hyped up to be. AIER is not endorsing the study as is without further study, but we are interested in the argument being examined and discussed.
Viewing Covid-19 Deaths in Context
It is already well established that Covid-19 is a disease that is most dangerous to those over the age of 65 and who have preexisting conditions. In the United States, there has been an observed2.1% mortality rate, with elderly individuals making up over half that number.
Young and healthy people are not by any significant capacity threatened by Covid-19.
One of the most important factors when it comes to Covid-19 is preventing excess death. According to the CDC,
“Estimates of excess deaths can provide information about the burden of mortality potentially related to the COVID-19 pandemic, including deaths that are directly or indirectly attributed to COVID-19. Excess deaths are typically defined as the difference between the observed numbers of deaths in specific time periods and expected numbers of deaths in the same time periods.”
Essentially, there is an average number of deaths every year due to a variety of causes that for the most part have remained constant through the years. This includes morbidities such as heart disease, which has long been the leading cause of death, and cancer, which has long plagued our existence. For Covid-19 to be a serious cause of alarm, it would need to significantly increase the number of average deaths....................

While Israel has not officially claimed responsibility for killing top Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, anonymous Israeli officials speaking to the press are eager to take credit.
An anonymous Israeli official speaking to The New York Times said the world should thank Israel for assassinating top Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
The Times described its source as “a senior Israeli official involved for years in tracking Mr. Fakhrizadeh for Israel.” The official said Israel “would continue to act against the Iranian nuclear program as necessary.”
Fakhrizadeh’s killing came at a time of heightened tensions in the region between the US and Iran. Earlier this month, a report said President Trump reviewed options to attack an Iranian nuclear site but was talked out of pulling the trigger by his senior advisors.
The report said President Trump left other options open to hit Iran’s nuclear program, which raises questions about Washington’s foreknowledge of Fakhrizadeh’s assassination.
